Very welcoming, friendly service, excellent food and drink 🥰

Four of us called in for breakfast today. Placed our orders… not one was served correct. Two vegetarian orders came as full English. We asked for flat white coffees.. served lukewarm weak coffee.. I did wonder if the coffee machine was actually working. Very disappointing. The lady did apologise for the confusion in the orders. So sorry but not a good experience.

Excellent Sunday lunch. Pleasant staff.

Went with daughter to this place when she visited me in Cheltenham, on Sunday 4th aug,admittedly we didn't book,so we were prepared to be turned away, on arrival no member of staff behind bar for approx 10 mins okay Sunday it will be busy but no staff! To be told by young clueless girl eventually behind bar "come back in 10mins we will try and fit you in" ,10 mins elapsed as we will still in this bayshill as bought drinks to be told yes we can fit you in "find a table " which we did I went to order only to be told " we have more bookings,sorry we can't serve you!!" Talk about unorganised and clueless. The girl clearly as I said " rubbish at her job"

My daughter,came to visit me in Cheltenham, on Sunday,decided to go for Sunday lunch,we tried the bayshill,big mistake!! Admittedly we HAD NOT booked,so was prepared to be turned away( fine) waited 10 mins with no member of staff behind bar( okay busy) very young bartender "if you would like to come back in 10 mins we will see ,if we can get you in" myself and daughter decided to buy drinks and wait,10 mins elapsed, went to bar spoke to young bar person ,who clearly was on her own,on one of the busiest days of week!!( says it all) young girl says " that's OK,"points us to a table,I go up to order,only to be told THEN"wait so sorry, we have had more bookings not possible now!! I left with daughter furious ,bad management, under trained, member of staff lack of staff,WHY!! will definitely WILL NOT ever go back,seems a nice venue but Sunday, no staff!! We decided to go to TAILORS IN CAMBRAY 8 members of staff on shift amazing Sunday lunch the best ever!!. I gave the 1 review because of the garden venue where lots of children were enjoying there selves,nice to see.

Came in on Friday 2/Aug with mates for a drink or two. Stayed for more. It was new owners since I last came here. A great friendly couple who were surrounded by an equally and enthusiastic team. Beer selection was great and service so quick and fun. Once I’d ordered one they remembered my order - very pro. It was such a relaxed place but busy, fun and welcoming. I was here with a couple of friends who host karaoke here so they were able to introduce me to the staff I was walking past today to hear music, people having fun so of course I popped in. Bayshill Summer Party tonight - I have somewhere else to go but I bet it will be a fabulous night The new management seem to have got the stuff needed to run a fun and successful venue Bloody awesome

What a lovely little pub, staff/owners were so friendly. I was in my camper in the car park next door and needed some water to shower and returned with piping hot water. Would have been rude not to have had a beer. Clean and friendly with reasonable prices. Thank you

Really lovely service from the Bar staff. Band was warming up on a Sat evening, but at 8:50 when we left they'd not started. Good beer and choices of drinks at a reasonable price. The beer garden has some decent seating options for groups of different sizes.

Great pub, good quality beers on draught, good chilled wine in the fridge, nice family atmosphere and the staff always make you feel welcome. The food is quality aswell, keep doing what you’re doing guys.

Amazing time at the bayshill last night staff were welcoming and friendly, atmosphere was great live band had all up dancing. Back today for a Sunday Roast highly recommend it.

Fabulous pub with a great atmosphere. My friends and I watched a live band who were great!!! The landlord & landlady are so welcoming as are the bar staff. I have also tried the Sunday roast here which is delicious. Would highly recommend drinks and food at the Bayshill pub 😀

We came here for breakfast on Gold Cup day having pre booked a table online. Met the manager Joe who only took over the pub last November so this is his first Race week. Joe could not have been more helpful with matters relating to our table and wifi and making these 5 old friends feel more welcome.

Went for a breakfast before the races, £12.50 for a buffet brekky was a bit expensive but pub OK although bar is small when it's busy

Great pub just off the promenade in Cheltenham, they keep a good pint and they do some good ales, they have a great court yard garden for the summer and they have live music on too at times.

Nice enough pub, good location, not too far off the beaten track! They need to put towels over the beers and cocktails taps that are not in use/out so you don't have to go through everything to find out what is available. Other than that, friendly staff, and it had a beer garden too.

From the moment I walked in I knew we as a group had a spiritual home in Cheltenham. Lisa and her team ( Erin and Molly) were just superb, great banter with no quarter given, exceptional service with grace and character - we loved the place and if your a solo traveller, a couple or a group you will not find a better place to sit, drink and enjoy great beer, lively service and a few grins - superb with love from the Divots

Thought I would look this one up again after my 10 year hiatus of visiting Cheltenham and glad I did as I found it to be a well run pub. It now sports an impressive mural all the length of the Northern wall, which I am guessing is a fairly recent addition as it does not appear in previous photos. The two small bar areas were being well utilised on this lunchtime visit with a few in the plainer dining area but the courtyard garden beyond was full with a party on a wake. Still a Wandsworth pub with five hand pumps on each bar section and there were doubled with IPA, 6X, 2 Horizons ( one being the chilled version ) and Amarillo Gold which was a decent hoppy pint. Good friendly service levels and chalk boards advertised that the pub now does live music on a Saturday.

Staff were very pleasant and atmosphere was good. I had a very nice Halloumi burger and pint of Moretti. Will definitely go there again

Love the bayshill. They put on great activities for children and often go here (if and when) I go out, it has a great atmosphere, great staff, sometimes live music, good clean beers.

Table of 6 for a family catch up and Sunday lunch. The 6 of us all said it was 10 out of 10. We all left very happy and full. I had the gammon roast and apple crumble and it was just perfect. Thank you team Bays. Highly recommended!

Brilliant stop before and after a day at the Cheltenham festival, the festival breakfast is great and great value

Disgraceful service.table booked for 2.30 .watched people come in and have their meal.when we asked at 3.30 where our food was we were told there was problems with the kitchen.we left at 4 having not eaten.a charming member of staff apologised but with a smile on her face.appalling service.will not be going there again.

Met up with friends and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Bayshill Inn in Cheltenham. The staff looked after us so well. They are so friendly and offered such a great selection of drink within the drink as much as you want and Brunch, which didn't dissapoint. Large portions. WE THANK YOU ALL.

An amazing Christmas meal for 12 of us. Excellent food, excellent service and excellent value for money. What more can I say? Definitely recommend this place.

Frequently pop in for a drink. Lager is always lovely and on this occasion we had a roast dinner from the new pop up kitchen. It was lovely, cozy and always a welcoming atmosphere.

Rather disappointing, looks oldie worldy from the outside but instead is rather bland inside. Food was ok, but nothing special. Fish and chips was very bland, fish barely edible. Children enjoyed the meals and desserts,certainly would not return.

I just had my surprise 60th birthday party at the Bayshill.The staff was friendly and polite the food was brilliant there was a good band on and the outside space felt very magical what with the lights and the ballons. I HIGHLY recommend this pub

Fantastic pub always a great atmosphere and the staff are amazing.

The food was wonderful and very varied choices. Our grandson ate all his food and the waitress gave him a picture to colour. Later she gave him a goody bag as a reward.

We came here on an impromtu visit and ended up booking for 20+ people the next day. We had a good time and would definitely be back if in the area again.

Pub is really spacious and lots of variety of drinks. They also had a live music when we were there on a Friday! They also had a burger van (different business) out the back and the food was incredible

Fantastic pub. Stumbled upon it with the link to the carpark walking into the most hospitable beer garden. Welcomed in with friendly hosts, and enjoyed a quick half and a little chatter. excellent beer garden. Great ales, drinks. Great first experience into a great birthday evening in Cheltenham. A definite first stop next time we are back!

Excellent breakfast! Cater well for veggies and Gluten Free. Really friendly staff, great atmosphere and if you have kids it seems like a great place to bring them with games and room to move around. Will definitely be coming back

I got in late on a Wednesday with a band playing. Ambience was great along with the service. The band were all 60+ and absolutely rocked it,,,, particularly the singer who liked like something out of dads army and sang like something out of Nirvana......If this was a quiet Wednesday, then I'm 5 staring all the way to the weekend!

A bit of a hidden gem in Cheltenham. I’ve walked past it many times but never thought about heading inside. A friend invited me and we watched a good live band here and had drinks into the late evening. Nice little courtyard and friendly staff. The drinks are very fairly priced too!

Oh my word, we had THE BEST time here, the sun was shining beautifully and the staff (Maria) went above and beyond to accommodate our requests to move out table reservation from inside to outside. The variety of drinks on the bottomless brunch was better than any I’ve been to before, the food was hot and fresh and we never had empty glasses. The atmosphere was great and all the staff we saw were friendly and happy. Maria was a pure delight and made sure we all had a great afternoon, we will definitely be back again for more ! Thanks Guys!

Live bands here every Saturday had a great night here great atmosphere. Will definitely come back.

Visited for a race day breakfast during the Cheltenham festival! Our first time going to Cheltenham and the walk from the train was a very easy stroll direct to the pub! The atmosphere here was great, loads of pictures of horse racing and little nods to it. It was heaving, as expected, but service was still great! £9 for a full English, they dished up sausages and bacon but help yourself to the rest! Great start to a brilliant day!!
