Very good food, service good, lovely and warm. Tried the games, dart board unusable so old and worn the darts kept falling out. Played junior scrabble and the board is ripped also played connect fall abd there aren't enough pieces to complete the game.

A party of 12 stayed in the hotel next door for the racing at the end of Jan 25. We ate in the pub every night (3 nights) food was excellent, the staff couldn't do enough for you, so friendly and helpful. We will definately be returning in future

We had a great meal here and the staff were really first class, all were friendly and welcoming especially Nikita who seemed to have roller skates on! Nothing to much trouble and so positive a real credit to the establishment, there were 12 of us and we had nothing but good reviews, we ate there twice and never had an issue.

The waiter there was super welcoming, cheerful and kind, answering questions with detailed information and helping with a passionate willing heart. Fish and chips was super soft inside and crispy outside, I could fully enjoy as it never had any slight fishy smell at all, and it still stayed crispy till i finish the plate. This place was very spacious with plenty of seats with great cozy mood. Overall, I was very satisfied with this pub and I definitely want to visit again!

I have to say clock tower pub is one of the best pubs I've been to . The staff are great very professional experience staff . Very friendly and helpful staff . Great food compliment to the chef and Nikita. Nikita running around looking after every body on a busy Saturday night and also giving your new staff training at the same time . She is unbelievable great at her job

We love coming to The Clock Tower for our family meals. The staff are exceptionally friendly and are always polite and helpful. Food is great quality and we enjoy the quiet family friendly atmosphere with the added bonus that they allow dogs! Today, we were largely served by Nikita who was very friendly and helped ensure our large order met our needs, double checking to make sure we had everything. She even recommended a nice Rose wine for my mum! Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a calm, friendly atmosphere. Added bonus is that they accept Blue Light Discount!

Meals are no longer of the same high quality as before

Christmas lunch was absolutely shocking might as well have had a microwave pre packed meal. Staff need to smarten up and get taught good service ! Never again !!! A refund will not even replace such a meaningful occasion

Thirty members of St Mary’s Church Mothers’ Union enjoyed a lovely Christmas lunch today. We were very well looked after and we all enjoyed the food. The staff were very polite and very attentive. Nikita, Josh and Hugh worked very hard to keep the food coming.

When for pre xmas family meal,had mixcher of food,from chicken roast dinner,to curry . Chicken was soaked in foul tasting oil, spent over £110 on 6 meals with just pop for us all. Never again

Used to come here all the time before it changed hands. It was always good for family parties. Thought we'd drop in for a drink and ended up having a meal. Inexpensive. I had the plant burger and fries. It was really tasty and the fries were well cooked and crispy. My husband has steak and ale pie which I can't judge as I'm a vegetarian. Staff were great. Thanks to Nikita and the others.

Nikita at the clocktower was very friendly, helpful and attentive. Food was lovely. Not very busy so not much of an atmosphere but would recommend and will definitely go back there.

Been here a few times now and never had a bad meal. The staff are always welcoming, friendly and very polite. Josh has taken our order a few times now and is knowledgeable about the menu and drinks, offering alternatives and extras without being pushy. Nikita and Beth were also very helpful and friendly. A good team who looked after us very well and we will be returning.

Really poor vegan options on the menu but fortunately the one I chose was superb (Thai curry). Nikita and the rest of the staff were very professional, polite and hospitable. Would highly recommend.

We go with my parents there regularly. They like the food, and it is easy for them to access the building and get a table. The staff are friendly and polite, there is a reasonable choice of meals at an affordable price. They always have at least one ale on the tap. Today we were served by Marty and Nikita.

Nikita was amazing she was happy and bright. We did hear what we believed to be a manager using language and arguing with people. This spoilt it a little. Thankfully Nikita was there to save the day. Food was delicious

The 11th of November was the first day of the Clocktower's festive menu which coincided with a family member's birthday, so this was a good excuse to visit and sample the fayre! We've been regular customers for many years and have had few reasons to complain as the food has been of a decent standard and very affordable. The pub has received a make-over recently and is now really smart, and is a good choice for a meal and drink at a sensible price. We have always been met with a warm welcome,and this visit was no exception. We were shown to our nicely set-out table and ordered our drinks: a lager for my wife and two pints of nicely kept Marstons Pedigree ale for my father-in-law and me. The starters arrived quickly. Chicken liver and brandy pate for my wife and myself, and soup for my Father-in-law. All were tasty and a good start. We had each ordered the traditional Turkey roast with all the trimmings. The quality was excellent, cooked to a good standard with generous portions served resulting in three well-fed folk and three clean plates! We don't normally have sweets, but as this was a special occasion we decided to treat ourselves to a Rocky Road Sundae for my wife, and Apple Crumbles for my father-in-law and myself. Really naughty but so nice! The result, we had a lovely meal attended to by the friendly attentive staff in comfortable warm surroundings, what more could we ask for? A big thank you to Huw and staff, it was lovely.

We called in at the Clock Tower on the way home on Sunday. As I entered our car reg into their parking device, the young man on the bar welcomed us to the pub, which was quiet as it was early evening. We were served by friendly Nikita, at the bar. We ordered the Ultimate Southern-Fried Chicken Burger, beef lasagne and Hunter's chicken. The food arrived fairly quickly. The garlic bread was missing from the lasagne dish as was the chicken gravy from the burger dish. This was quickly rectified, as the items were in the kitchen but had been overlooked by the server, who apologised. My wife and I have been to the Clock Tower several times, mostly for lunch after our walks around Severn Springs and Leckhampton Hill. We find the lighter Bites + desert on their Lunch Deal Menu plenty big enough for us. The Clock Tower is part of the Marston's group, so it's standard fare, but we find the staff to be friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Went here yesterday and had a great time

Sunday lunch. Not sure where to start but it was just awful. We took a 90 year old and 86 year old. Even they struggled. Let me be frank - it tasted like a re-heated ready meal. In fact, I would rather have had a cooked ready meal. The meat was clearly pre-packed and murdered. The mash was lumpy. The 'roast' potatoes....roasted? Microwaved mush. Disgusting. The green beans - how can you get those wrong? It's impossible. Yet you managed to make the bean seeds like sharp stones. Tinned carrots. Horseradish 'glue'. And to top it off it wasn't served hot. Completely disgusting and we won't be back!

Fish and chips and mushy peas surprisingly very good. The restaurant is what it is.

The gammon steak was under cooked and the chicken burger was over cooked. 2 basic meals that were awful.

First time here and we were a party of 15. We were given a room off the main bar so it lovely to all sit together. All the meals came out quickly, hot and delicious. We stayed for quite a while afterwards enjoying our drinks. Everyone there was very friendly and attentive, special mention to Marty and Tash who were great and didnt rush us to leave! Definitely recommend, thank you!

The guy behind the bar was lovely, polite and helpful. The pints of pepsi were served in glasses and not filled to the top, the food was cold and a complaint was made, the food came out the second time a little more upto temperature. Staff were stretched and working everywhere, bar, serving, cleaning. Not a nice atmosphere.

I had a roast lunch . So the price for the meal was alright but the food itself was absolute vile no flavour meat was dry as anything , yorkshire pudding was crispy and crunchi lile crisps veg was disgusting portion was small and just vile . Will never eat anything here again in my life and will spread the word round not to eat here

Table booked for 1:30 today Sunday 22nd Sept. Got there early we wanted a Sunday lunch, only to be told when we ordered there was no Sunday roasts left or vegetables. I could understand if we hadn't booked, but surely if they take bookings they know roughly the numbers to cater for. I was amazed this happened, hence we didn't eat there, but fortunately managed to get in a restaurant near by and had a delightful Sunday lunch

My husband and i had lunch here yesterday. I had a jacket potato with prawns and salad. The salad was lovely ,tasty and fresh. Tasty jacket potato with prawns in a sauce. Nice wine too. Friendly welcoming staff. Clean and tidy and dog friendly.

We had a side order of fries with our beers. Staff are friendly and helpful. Nice pub, free darts and i noticed books and games to use. Three internet is so poor here, i had to use local free wifi to access internet.

Excellent staff, super helpful. Live in Sweden, so to come back to the UK and have fantastic fish and chips in a pub (which is rare!) was brilliant. They do a lovely pint of Moretti too.

Have been here before and it was OK but since the refurbishment and new manager I can honestly say this place has got exceeding better.
