Irish bar and a gay bar. Strange combo right? Well its a lovely welcoming atmosphere as a queer person. It always feels safe. There are door staff on the weekend, which keeps idiots out. They do not allow large groups. its only a small pub. It's usually free entry with the exception of the occasional ticketed event. They have charity fundraisers once a month. Great live music, and drag performers every weekend. The bar staff are the highlight. Super friendly with great personality.

So we went for pizza at The Bristol Stable yesterday, I have been here before and even though it wouldn't be my first choice we had a teen with us and pizza is what she likes to eat. However the guy at the bar where we ordered appeared utterly miserable and uncommunicative, he didn't make eye contact and acted like we were putting him out by simply making an order, I know folk have off days or perhaps are neurodiverse but if you are working at a restaurant, front of house you should make the effort to smile at least, and communicate with a decent level of civility, some customer service skills are preferable, unfortunately this young man had none of these neccesary charms, maybe he needs to learn some of these skills. The pizza was pretty good though.

Las salchichas son para morir. Tuve el especial de gruñido de mejillas de harissa pig, fue fabuloso! Creo que el punto de precio es el lugar para la ubicación. Será nuestro nuevo lugar de resaca. No puedo creer que no hubiéramos estado antes.

Gary at the bar was exceptional and very courteous and happy. His service was a pleasure and therefore stayed longer.

Yet another great pub for real ciders they had 15 ciders when I visited. Friendly welcome. Firmly on my list of great cider pubs, will be back.

Popped in here for a pint. Good selection of beers and nice rear courtyard/beer garden. Would definitely pop back.

Went with my mum for one of her favorite pies and got greeted by welcoming staff that was nice and friendly. The food was great and our waitress Jessica checked to make sure we was enjoying our food and kept the service quick and professional 10/10 for all.

¡Increíble asado de Pascua! La mejor cena de asado que hemos tenido en Bristol. Carne asada perfectamente cocinada. ¡El pudín de carne de res y cerveza Yorkshire fue un toque extra maravilloso, y queso de coliflor que podría haber comido todo el día! Fabulosos desiertos, y un gran servicio! Sin duda volveré!

Fui a dos cafés S y C. Mi principal queja es que dejé un objeto personal por error, pero el café no era contactable en absoluto - el único número que no encontré a nadie y er respuestas (no se utiliza apoarently) , ninguna respuesta a los correos electrónicos, mensajería de Facebook y un intento de WhatsApp. Tardaron dos días en obtener una respuesta (no monitorean mucho el correo electrónico, aparentemente) y por supuesto no hay señales de mi pertenencia. Marco porque si hubiera sido una billetera o pasaporte... no tienes ningún espectáculo recuperándolo. La culpa es mía por dejar atrás, pero los accidentes ocurren, están orientados al cliente y deben ser contactables. Una tienda que servía era educada: la otra era casi deprimente con las miradas grumosas y las respuestas desnudas. Comida y café nada especial. Vaya a un café que realmente se preocupa por sus clientes y apoya lo que un café debe ser. Gente.

We stopped here for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. It doesn't look that inviting and it's certainly no frills inside but the food was good, the menu had plenty of options and service was friendly and efficient. The coffee was excellent and the granola fantastic, a really good mix. Good prices too.

I have been here on Tuesday as my favourites bartender are working here temporarily. Will and Morgan was in shift, so I know I was in great hands, Will made my greatest cappuccino as he knows my preferences. Always the best! A special thanks to Becks, Morgan,Lucy and Will. Edit: I went back on Wednesday morning and only 2 guys was there, first I asked for a cappuccino and at 70 degrees, the second guy instead was making a mocha and I asked politely why was putting in the chocolate as I asked for cappuccino, he asked again to his colleague (if I stated it's a cappuccino what's the point to ask a confirmation to your colleague?) anyway, the cappuccino was watery, burned coffee and service was awful.... A pineapple in the b..t was feeling more friendly in my opinion.

Great team here, excellent service and fantastic menu selection.
