Amazing value for money and Amazing staff in particular gary behind the bar and the manager pri were great they seen to your every need and are as helpful as they can be my whole family enjoyed their meal and I would recommend to eat here anytime 100% will come again

I would really like to say a huge thankyou to Brandon & Lisa who on our 3 day stay next door have taken amazing care of me and my two daughters, they knew they were having a rough time with hospital appointments nearby (one of them having an operation) they also know I'm disabled from previous visits (we are from over 3 hrs away but stay here every time we have hospital for the girls) Every time we stay these two amazing people have treated us so nicely & go above and beyond to help in anyway- thankyou so much xx (the stressed mum) Stacey x

It's one of my favourite places to dine! lovely friendly staff who deliver excellent service. Food is great value for money with the lunchtime deal 2 meals for £11.49 and lots to choose from. Had lunch at Bewers Fayre today 20th August 1.15pm my husbands meal which was lasagne was lovely, I had smothered chicken which was not so good, part of the chicken was burnt and no bacon. Didn't bother to take it back as the restaurant was full. And we already waited 45 minutes for our food. And to be fair they were rather busy. So we were really disappointed.

Twice now thought I would give it a second chance, absolutely not worth the money small measly portions my opinion don't bother.

Should accept that they have food promotion's and not make it difficult and slightly embarrassed to use their promotional deals.

Went for a meal to this brewers Fayre at Lewins mead with my partner and had a great experience. The food was really nice and came out quickly and was hot and the overall service was very good. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful but would like to give a special mention to Gary who went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our food and had the best possible experience, even making sure we got the discount we were eligible for. Would definitely recommend this place for a meal that isn’t too expensive but still good quality.

***update*** Visited again and food was awful and not worth the money even with a 20% discount. Steaks unedible and long wait despite only 4 others being in the restaurant. Young manager/cook out of his depth. Two stars for older bar tender. Will not be returning. 🤮🤮 Have eaten here in groups many times and cannot fault the food, value and service. Even if you have the two meals for under £10 the meals are more than adequate. Excellent value all round and staff consistent on every visit. Highly recommend and look forward to attending again.

Gary is very friendly and funny he's a lovely member of the team to have and always make you welcome and nothing to much trouble.

Food was terrible and chips were cold salad was cheap and awful

This once lively place seems to have gone down hill. Visited on 6/7/24 @17hrs party of 2. Empty bar one small group and a few people watching the football.Had to book table but not asked for names ect. Instantly told there is a 30 minute wait for food. Not much of a problem as we weren't sure if we were going to stay there or not. Of all the people wanting food to arrive after us only one family stayed due to wait times. Restaurant was practically empty the whole time. Purchased drinks while then deciding to order food. Told then theres a 45 minute wait as person in kitchen had been left in there all day on their own. When the 2 steaks arrived we both found that instead of being medium rare and rare they were well done and medium rare. Full of Sinue, couldn't be chewed ect. I called over a barman to tell him and he was very understanding. He told kitchen person then came back to us and said manager will sort something out and did we want some drinks to make up for it. I refused that. Person that served me came to the table and said he had cooked the steaks and they were fine when he did them eventhough on the plates was the evidence they weren't fine. He then slated us basically blaming the supplier of the steaks and saying the sinue was fat and thats normal for steak which we agreed would be normal but not in this case. He offered us puddings. Once again we refused as that wasn't the point of the complaint. He turned out to be the Manager. Shocking treatment and ruined a part of my Birthday celebration.

Having paid for my breakfast, I ordered poached eggs this morning, I enquired about my order after 20 minutes, it appears the chef forgot to cook them. I waited a further 20 munutes and ended up leaving without having received my order. Had they just said they couldn't do it as they were too busy, then I would have just got on with my breakfast. Instead I was left waiting and ended up having to leave. Very disappointed!!

If you want somewhere to go for food i recommend brewers fayre. I came here for food yesterday lunch time and the food was delicious. They do a deal for 2 meals for £11.50 which is great value for 2 people

Disgusting went with my son and pregnant partner we all ended up very unwell. Not worth it save your money. I called to explain and they where just rude to me.

The food was good when it arrived. Reasonably priced. Comfortable and clean venue. Been there twice recently. First time it took 50 minutes for food to arrive. It was good. The second time when ordering was told, it would take an hour. I could not wait that long. Good venue but obvious staffing difficulties lead to poor customer service. I went elsewhere and am unlikely to return.

I feel sorry for the young staff who had to serve such poor quality food. I hate to call it disgusting because plenty of people in this world would be glad of it. I had to walk out as I couldn't trust myself to complain civilly to the staff. It's little wonder Whitbread wants to concentrate on it's accomodation which is good! Michael Smith

I was staying at the Premier Inn and wanted something light to eat. I ordered the nachos and a couple of sides. When the order arrived the nachos was a plate of cold crisps, a squirt of cheese and a tomato. I asked the waiter about the sour cream and he said they didn’t have any. I asked if he could at least heat the nachos up thinking it would take a couple of minutes. I ate the sides and waited….and waited….then gave up. The restaurant wasn’t busy either. Disappointing

Chefs Nathan and Kornel supplied us with excellent food Service from the bar and in the restaurant, from Gary, Brandon and Vicki, was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going there again.

I come here everyweek to meet friends and sometimes just pop in to see the friendly staff lisa, Gary and pri who are all amazing. The food is always hot and very tasty

The barman over charge me for a drink because he thought I ordered a beer and coffee and changed for both I need order a coffee and then said I will get a refund in 3 days ask to speak to the manager and said he was the manager and that was the was done poor by management as if it was my fault not his still waiting for my refund very poor

Visiting our son in Bristol so we met up here. We felt very welcome indeed and although we only wanted snacks and drinks, we felt as valued by the wonderful staff just as much as the large party of 30 who were also dining there. A very special shout out to Gary and Brandon for their attentiveness, patience and kindness - they are a credit to the company. Thank you 😊

Walked into Brewers Fayre today before travelling, and was greeting and shown to a table. When ordering, Lisa was very good at explaining the meals and pricing and catered to changes made to the meal. The pricing is a good range, without breaking the bank and the food tasted great! I'll be travelling from Bristol a very satisfied (and full) customer

Food reasonable for the price- we got the sunday lunch! The carver was a lovely man. The quantity of meat was not huge, however, trimmings were unlimited and reasonably good quality, especially the peas. Be warned, the price has risen to £11.49 from the £10.49 displayed online for the sunday roast which was a bit of a shock. Very quiet at 3pm; arguably a hidden gem.

Lovely food, great service. Clean restaurant. Ate both nights of my trip and both mornings for breakfast. Kitchen really accomodating and made gluten free toast and poached eggs on request. Lovely lady running the place on the first night the Gary the manager on the second night was a great example of excellent customer service!

Ordered double raspberry vodka and the lemonade was flat Our main meal was lovely but when we ordered the banoffee cheesecake they just brought the new yoke cheesecake and gave us soup spoons to eat it with I took it back and said it’s nothing like the picture I was told they didn’t have any bananas but he would get some caramel sauce which he did but still no chocolate sprinkle so I said what about the chocolate flakes to go on the top He went off again and came back with a load of chocolate on a plate

I went with my family to have dinner. The staff was very nice and friendly (Brandon and Holly) and the food was good too. Recommended.

We were late in arriving at Bristol and were very hungry. The staff were so welcoming and attentive. Even though they were busy they made time to answer questions and help us. The food was delicious especially the smothered chicken.

Visited here in March, but is also our local that we go to regularly. The staff here are great and we are always made to feel welcome. Bartenders Gary and Brandon are a credit to Brewers, sorting our drinks with speed and accuracy, ensuring a relaxing time after work.

Well, what can I say? We visit this place on a regular basis and we write reviews fairly often. We had a great time at Brewer's Fayre today and all thanks to Prie and her amazing team. A big thanks to Brandon, Holly, Gary, Vicky, Jessica, Louisa and the rest of the team, including the chefs. We would like to say a massive thanks to Prie; she is a real star, making our day and presenting me with the most amazing steak; it went down a treat. They know their stuff here. A really excellent selection of food and drink at really good prices, in really nice surroundings. You can see why they have so many regulars. Definitely, a must visit. We would like to wish you all a very happy Easter . We will see you all soon.

We were welcomed in a friendly manner. The fish and chips were excellent and came quickly. We were well looked after by Lisa and Vicki. An altogether pleasant experience.

Very disappointed. The nachos arrived without the described cheese on top and minimal other toppings. Basically, nachos tipped out of a bag on to a plate with a small amount of sour cream on top. Salsa?? It was three tiny bits of tomato and a couple of pieces of onion. No cheese at all. Very disappointing! Fish and chips was ok, but no tomato sauce to go with it...told that it was the fault of the delivery company... really!!??? Which meant that our breakfast would also have no tomato sauce which for me is a massive disappointment. We went to Tesco, one minute walk and bought our own!! Shocking tbh. The chocolate brownie for dessert was delicious though.

Gary, Brandon and Nat all did amazing, such friendly and funny service, made me feel welcome and cracking jokes. Really made the place feel alive. Really cheap food for such good quality as well

We are regulars at lewins mead brewers fayre and visit at least once a week, we love how helpful Lisa and pri are with helping to sort our bonus card out, the food is always delicious and the service is amazing keep up the good work everyone

Staying the weekend at the Premier Inn so just went for easy dinner downstairs, wasn't expecting such a good experience. Gary at the bar was super helpful and accommodating and the wait staff were brilliant, especially Brandon who was amazing :-) just to top it off, the steak was perfectly cooked so compliments to the chef. Would definitely recommend 100%

We are a family of 6 and were seated immediately. Lovely food, what you expect for the prices. Good value for money. The food was cooked well and everyone was happy with their meal. The waitress was patient, friendly and helpful.

Came here last week and had a classic lasagne and chips. I was served by Brandon. So polite and friendly an absolute amazing team member. Food was fast and delicious, will definitely come back. Thank you so much.

Oh dear ! The breakfast here we go It's self service so when you enter don't be surprised so half of the contents missing,so while you wait for the rest of tje breakfast to turn up what you already have is getting cold, once you have all your contents for your full English then you can take a seat and enjoy or not? This breakfast isn't as bad as sime I have tasted bacon is OK if you get it hot eggs are fried or scrambled the scrambled option looked like it was sat around for a while and started to change colour under the lamp,the mushrooms I had to squash them out it was like they had been boiled the shear amount of water was overwhelming,the black pudding although I only tried a tiny bit t was tasty however it was dreadful it had the same consistency as cat food and the oil in it was awful,the hash browns were well under cooked the beans were cheap and cold,there was no tomatoes to eat they had all gone and my food was getting colder by the minute, the toaster worked fantastic and produced nice toast the butter wasn't frozen unlike some place's the sausages were of poor quality hardly any taste and cooked very poorly, it was a experience I won't be reliving sadly i won't be back.

The Waiter was nice and friendly but the Barman was miserable. We were very concerned that there was a Rodent trap in the eating area not very pleasant to see when you're eating.

Shocking food. Walked in on man complaining about his food. Thought we'd give it a go. I wish we didn't. Food cold, missing dishes, missing items off the plates. Wrong items on the plates. Service was terrible. kids bringing us food, scruffy, and not wanting to be there, they was so miserable. I'd give this place a miss if I were you.

Gary goes the extra mile, he is an asset from the warm welcome when you enter throughout the evening. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.
