"Fabulous food cider and beer" this was a precovid review. Jan 25. Menu has gone downhill.the lovely pies gone. Pizza selection is now quite poor unless you like eveything hot. Today had a "baller" pizza. Meatballs tastles, ham hardly any flavour. Sweetcorn 8 peices of sweetcorn on a half, alioli lacked garlic flavour. Tomatoe sauce poor flavour. All in all not coming here again. Have been a supporter since it first opened. Pizzas now are not as good as a supermaket pizzas. Dissapointed

Battle pizzeria, no quality Italian pizzas. It is a place in the nightlife area where people gather to drink and eat. It's not the best restaurant in Bristol but it may be worth it for one night.

Good, varied menu. Everyone in our group managed to find something they wanted. The food was well presented and very tasty!

Love the variety of pizzas. However the drinks are quite expensive. Thanks for accepting blue light card discount as that lowered the pizza price atleast. Best pizza being " the baller".

Went here for a catch up with my friends the other day. We go here because it's close to St. Augustine's Parade. They have a selection of vegan options and alcohol free options.

We had a our company’s Christmas party at the Bristol Stables on 6th of December in the corner room. Pierce and team were absolutely incredible. Pierce was so so kind and generous with the time and help within emails during the planning period. He offered us more than we could ever dream for ( the drinks and the food). The team was super attentive and speedy. The buffet was absolutely incredible and the drinks were really lovely and well loved/ appreciated by our team. The whole team agrees it’s been one of the very best Christmas parties for our team. Thank you very very much. I could not recommend any more Bristol Stables to anyone.

Very accommodating even though they were busy with a couple big groups as its Christmas party season. Great choice of pizzas with vegan and some alternative toppings. Mac n Cheese was also good. Nice ciders too.

The food was really good, service was great. I've only marked it down on atmosphere as I found it so very noisy I struggled to hold conversations. Perhaps others wouldn't mind this noisy atmosphere but for me it impacted the overall experience

Really loves the pizza - absolutely spot-on - and the service was great, too. Unfortunately it was just way too loud in there for me. It's a shame because otherwise it seems like a great place to eat!

Good atmosphere in this bar near the channel. The local products are promoted and it's a good thing ! Large choice of beers, ciders and original pizzas. Globally, it was a good experience for me at The Bristol Stable 👍

As The Stable loyal customer, since the times we had few branches in London (including amazing branches in Whitechapel and Kew Gardens that doesn’t exist anymore), it is fun to visit other branches around England (and Wales). Visiting Bristol branch did not disappoint our expectations. We visited without a booking, and managed to find a table on Friday night. It is placed in great location, and it must be lovely to sit outside in the summer (they close it off for winter it seems). This branch had black dragon and annings which is why we visited. Cardiff branch stopped selling black dragon which was disappointing especially as it’s a welsh cider. Food was great, music was lovely but a bit too loud but it is probably normal for Friday night atmosphere. We spent about 85£ but we went all in with drinks, two main courses and started garlic pizza bread. The place was very well staffed, there was always staff member around to help or ask questions. What was unusual to other stables locations was having two security guards outside but I noticed it was common amongst other pubs and restaurants in the area. They were very kind and helpful!

The pizza was delicious and was made with vegan cheese as requested due to my allergy to milk. The staff were very friendly and provided great service despite how busy it was.

The bar had run out of both lemonade and Soda then the food arrived and our pizzas were so smothered in a particular mayonnaise that they became inedible. The same mayonnaise was also completely covering the potato bites that we ordered. We ended up leaving most of our food which had cost us over £100 for 4 of us and that was just main courses. Very disappointing.

I go for the music on a Friday night. I'm not into pizza and cider, but they have lager available. Often, an interesting non-mainstream music band performs. Usually, diners drift off after 10 pm and miss a real treat. On 04/08/2023, Franco-Colombian cumbia band, Super Panela, appeared, and the place remained full. As a music venue, it's a cosy, intimate locale, with no admission charged. I highly recommend.

I went when it was empty but the service was quick, pizza was legit and they have lots of good cider options

Great place by the docks, we grabbed a coffee in the sun and got mac'n'cheese, and both were great.

I love the environment and nature.... But the food is average.

The food was fantastic l, fresh, flavourful and perfectly cooked. The menu had a great variety and each dish was beautifully presented. What made the experience even better was the friendly and attentive service. The staff were warm, welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Overall a wonderful dining experience with great food and top notch hospitality. 🙌

I decided to go to this place because I saw the signs on the street, it is actually amazing, really the best brunch. The place is nicely decorated and staff is very friendly. I will go back!

Ordered on the app and food took a long time to arrive. Usually good service but this time we didn't have time to finish our food as we had to get to the theatre.

I recommend it, the best pizza we have eaten in Bristol and the surrounding area. Don't look for another pizza. Definitely the best. Nice place, nice service. It deserves a visit. Definitely 5*. Pizza plus a drink is a minimum of £20 per person. We are very pleased. Our visit to Bristol ended with great pizza in a nice place. It was nice to eat here. Thank you.

I can say we will certainly not be back... We seated ourselves as staff were too busy chatting, eventually we were given menus & told to order through the app or go to the bar (customer service is dead here) We ordered the meat in on WITH EXTRA MOZZARELLA we were still looking for the extra cheese (that we paid for!!!!) The pizza was tastless. We also ordered drinks that we had to ask for when the pizza was given to us. The cocktail I ordered had so much ice in it, it could of sank the titanic again.

The pizza is delicious, but there is only one size (for one person) The scenery by the river is also good👍

We had a drink there (price and quality OK) but our pizzas were far from crazy... No problems with the service. In terms of atmosphere, everything was fine until the start of a live music session which, although very nice, was much too loud and cut off the possibility of any discussion... So some positive points, some less good ones

We had pizzas, both were good although slow in arriving despite not very busy. We also had the 5 taster ciders, good way to taste different flavours

Great pizzas and nachos and fast service. Their ordering app sucks, didn't accept Apple pay or Google wallet so you need to enter your card in manually. Only found out after you can also order inside.

4 things you love are here. 1) Sheltered alfresco dining. 2) Waterside views. 3) Fresh stone baked, sourdough pizzas! 4) Craft beer and cider.

The place has great atmosphere with live music. Cold beer. Free wifi. Pizzas are ok.

Had a great time here for dinner with a group of friends, food was excellent and the service from the team was class. Special shout out to the manager, think his name was Pierce (Tall fella) he was brilliant and gave some great recommendations. Can’t wait to go back!

Cannot comment on the food as after nearly an hour waiting we had to leave to make a show.

Good pizza with great drinks selection whilst sat outside on the harbour- what's not to like?

The Bristol Stable is a large bar / restaurant in the 'Watershed' area by the docks. The menu is fairly limited, but the pizza and cheesy garlic bread were very good. It has a good selection of local beers, ciders, and gins. Nice views of that part of the dock and some outside tables.

Stunning location, we're currently still sat inside, had the pizza with the pulled beef and jalapeños. I'd give that a solid 5/5 but holy hell are the staff in here so useless, our waiter is clearly more interested in flirting with his colleague than he is to do with the food, he was swift to take our orders when we came in but took almost 20 minutes to get drinks to use despite there only being 3 tables inside. Food itself was really good my kids had pizza and the Mac both gave good reviews the pizza was crispy in the base and clearly cooked well, however when we finished our main we moved our pizza boards too the edge of the table and we all sat waiting for almost 15 minutes (again pretty much empty) staring at the waiter but he was too engrossed in his conversation with his colleague. We all sat our entire table staring at him waiting.... Anyway. He finally came over we've ordered ice cream for the kids. Kinda shocking how long even this bit is taking but we'll wait and see currently at about 9 minutes again in an empty restaurant. Hopefully be here soon 🫠

Cracking place to get some tasty pizza and try a fairly big menu of different drinks. We went on a Friday night and still could walk in and get a table for 3.

Pizza was very good. Tasty, good variety, and cooked to perfection where it just has that slight crunch to it. An incredible selection when it comes to alcohol. Lots of craft beers and ciders which were great. Service was poor and a let down on what would have been a great meal. The person who took my order at the bar was uninterested and snappy. He snapped at the lady who ordered just before me for not specifying a pint or a half pint, and then continued to roll their eyes at me while I was ordering. The bartenders were also incredibly slowly making cocktails while we waited for our order to be taken. This place might benefit from keeping the bar separate and having a table service instead.

Visited the Stable in Bournemouth a few years ago, & was expecting a similar experience. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The staff were unhelpful and unfriendly, almost to the point of rudeness. Queued at the bar (for a long time) to place our order, & had to carry our own drinks to the table. Our food arrived swiftly, & we had to request condiments and serviettes. The food itself was quite nice, but spoilt by the lack of service and attention to detail. No one approached us to enquire if we needed anything; more drinks/desserts, or to ask if we'd enjoyed our meal. Dreadful customer care. (Other than the one friendly face who directed me to the lavatory ). Generally , an unpleasant experience .

Brilliant pizza (especially the Greek one with feta and tzatziki!), amazing cider selection and friendly staff. Sadly the mobile ordering process is slightly unwieldy and inconvenient, but that doesn't detract from the tasty food and great view. I'd definitely dine here again!

We visited the stable tonight. (Saturday night after 10pm) it wasn't crowded. We ordered two simple drinks, they gave us wrong drinks. We thought ok don't worry let's drink them. They were really bad, my friend had to buy a new drink. In the end we never ended our drinks and then our stomachs weren't very well. We didn't order any food.

Lovely place to sit on harbour, but nachos were nothing special for the price

Even though Google says it is wheelchair accessible, there is a small step to get in, which makes it very awkward for wheelchair users. I have asked the manager repeatedly (this is at least the 3rd time of asking) for a ramp over the last 9 months and still no ramp- just using pizza boards instead!? The fact that they readily did this makes it seem they have done this before. This is not ok- 1. it is really unsafe and 2. where is the dignity in this? I brought a party of 18 tonight, meaning they could buy 8 portable ramps with the money made! I cannot stress enough how unacceptable this is - sort it out!

Great selection of ciders for everyone a personal highlight was the Elderflower Sheppys which was immense probably the best pizza in Bristol as well! Thank you!

Enjoyable lunch with family. Good location overlooking the floating harbour

Many times I have been to The Stable, and since my beginning in Bristol, it has been my favourite restaurant, but for the past few months, I have only felt a deteriorating quality at this place, and the last visit was literally a disaster. It's the Harbour Festival, a lot of people are passing by your restaurant, there are four free tables outside, and each one is dirty. I sit down with my companion, and for the next 10 minutes, no one was interested in us or cleaning the table. After placing an order through the QR code, someone from the staff came to take the dirty glasses from the previous guests, and then returned with our drinks, placing them on the dirty table amidst a lot of crumbs - after I pointed this out, the staff came to clean the table. After receiving the starters, no one brought any cutlery. The funniest thing is that when ordering through the QR code, you ask at the end about a tip - my question is "for what"? For the lack of proper service, for the complete lack of interest in the guest? I will never come back to you again.

The food wasn't very good the service not bad but the view and the place was brilliant but need more improvement.

Only popped in for a drink but it was quite nice, waitress service, good range of drinks but it was quite cold inside. Updated 14.07.2024 Went in for a meal, it was really good! All the party were plant based which was no trouble for them, they switched things around to suit everyone. Service with a smile, again good range of drinks. Pizza's were the best we have had in a long time. 4 x pizza, 1 x garlic bread, 2 x potato topers, 4 x drinks = £96 Highly recommend ☆☆☆☆☆

Great food and drink, highly recommended.

I love pizza,especially a sourdough pizza but this came up a little short on topping for me. Basic Margherita pizza and by the time I walked it back to my hotel (5 mins) both had soaked into the base. In saying that the base itself was lovely and crispy. The welcome and bar service were excellent, and I can recommend their home brewed "Bristol Cider". Refreshing and balanced and chilled. Would go back to eat in to see if the pizzas are any better when eating in. Still worth a visit

First time in Bristol and we found this place to eat , the pizzas are nice, a bit pricey but it is Bristol after all , the only pasta dishes they have are mac and cheese so they only have pizzas and salads in the menu but their pizza crust was lovely plus you have a nice view on the river while eating.

Everything was good until i needed to use the toilet. Had to use the accessible toilet as females not available and after waiting ages a male member of staff left and toilet disgusting

Perfect, great place to eat o the water front, staff very pleasant and food was lovely and at a decent price, I would definitely recommend this place when visiting Bristol. Its a 👍 from me.

Honestly one of the best experiences I've had in Bristol so far, and I've been working here for 2 years now I want to give a special shout-out to Ruby and Will, they were attentive, friendly, boisterous and utterly hilarious to speak to all night Especially Will, I hope you find your way back home mate and good luck on the travels I recommend, and hope you enjoy yourself too x
