Was very good, went in on the weekend for some drinks! The atmosphere was good and the drink prices weren’t too bad. Also have a good garden area

It's always Nice to go in there for a Drink 🍸 or two with A few Friends of Mine who likes in there as well.

Visited on a Saturday evening to meet some friends around 7pm not many bar staff around so waited a little while to get served. My first choice of drink thatchers gold a medium cider thy didn't have so i had a Inches cider which was a adequate replacement at £5.40 a pint which is about average price on Gloucester Rd was quite nice and I had another service was friendly and helpful. My friends that arrived after me couldn't get their first choice of drinks one of Blackthorn cider ended up with a Lily's cider at a whopping price of £6.90 a pint which is quite steep but he enjoyed. Early and not many people at the cider press so maybe busier later but we moved on to another local pub.

What a find a special lunch menu for £6,at the Cider Press,Gloucester Road, Bristol,running between Monday and Friday 12 noon till 4,I had a great burger with skin on frien which were out of this world,a a large glass of iced Coke/Cola,Harvey the barman looked after me,excellent service and so polite a credit to the business,highly recommended you can't get better than this

Always good brilliant range of ciders rather pricey now though no change still no change still expensive as usual no blackthorn now really a cider house with no blackthorn

Lovely and affordable. Wing Wednesday served me and my friend very well. Satisfaction is a word used all too frequently, but this place owns the right to serve, define and bask in the dimension of human service.

Visited here recently for bottomless brunch and its the best brunch ive ever been too! The guy behind the bar was really friendly and nice. The food is amazing and the drink options are so varied and the cocktails are really tasty! Its nice to see that an actual meal is included rather than other places skimping on tiny snacks where you end up starving after it. I will be visiting here again!! Great value for money. Great place.

My friends and I were celebrating a birthday party, and we were in jolly spirits in the early evening in Bristol. It was my transgender friend’s birthday and they approached the bouncer with a friendly smile, hoping to enjoy the atmosphere that seemed decent from the outside. He remarked that “he” wasn’t allowed in as there was too many men in the group. My transgender friend felt very offended by this statement as it not only misgendered by also discriminated against us as a group. Unless you have female genitalia, I would not suggest visiting this establishment as you may be denied for having XY chromosomes.

Lovely place with a wife range of quality ciders. Especially flavours of lilly cider. Food was tasty and came out fast. A little dark inside for lunch, and some of the chairs had seen better days.

Haven’t tried the food, but great pub, cool atmosphere and pool tables, darts, TV’s, and nice and big space.

Four of us visited for the weekend bottomless brunch, which was a lovely experience. Izzy was a wonderful server and looked after us perfectly. Thank you for a lovely Saturday!

Quality place with lovely staff and great pints

We booked at table for the rugby final and half way through a play they switched it to football! They wouldn't turn it back because they needed 2 screens with football, even though there were other screens in the pub with people no one watching them. Can't hear or read the commentary. Kitchen was closed. All beers we tried tasted metallic. This is no pub to go to enjoy sport, only stayed because of my mates.

Had a great evening at the Cider Press!! Great food and atmosphere, couldn't have asked for better service from the staff, the facilities are lovely and clean and the over all looks of the place is great! Will definitely be going back when in the area.

Lovley staff, very attentive and kind but we came down for the DJ and he wasn’t here !! So Disappointing it’s the main reason students come to this pub so bring him back.

Amazing atmosphere and good drinks. Friendly staff. Nice place for a night out with friends. Food is decent and would be 5 stars if they didn't frequently miss items from the menu.

Cider press has a pool table which is great, however toilets seem to be a mile away

Busy but nice, kitchen is down so I couldn't rate the food but they were kind enough to let us take food in.

Booked a Christmas meal here for the 9th of Dec. Paid £35 for a three course meal. Sat around screaming football fans, unable to talk to friends. Speakers for the games were far too loud on top of that. The kitchen messed up the orders and when informed of the fact, told us that we were wrong. I had to eat something that I did not order as a result, with no remedy offered. The quality of the hunters chicken is extremely poor; described as a hunters chicken but just a plain unseasoned piece of chicken with barely any sauce. My friends described the dairy free option as very poor. The site and advertisement made this place seem like a good location for a Christmas dinner but could not have been further from the truth.

Great cider! Ver rustic vibe which compliments Bristol's whole aesthetic very nicely.

Bottomless brunch. Food was amazing, drink were flowing nicely with a good selection. Matty was looking after us and a did a great job. Lots of banter. Will definitely be doing it again. Great value for money!

I have watched many England football games here for both the men’s and the woman’s. It has a really great atmosphere and the food is great. I especially love the flavoured ciders!

The drinks and food definitely settled my tastebuds and the service was on par with the highest quality ever. I recommend to anyone who wants to experience such a delicious and delightful time. Well recommend and fantastic server Izzy

First timer here, on route in the taxi I was sceptical but this didn’t last long. Brunch here was top notch, brilliant service, quick, really good quality - shout out to Izzy who made this a brilliant brunch!

Sports pub with a massive cider selection. I am quite fussy, I informed the lovley lady behind the bar which cider I like but want to try something similar yet different. She nailed it with the first sample taster!

The cider here is AMAZING! Food is decent and the crowd is always a good time.

Very nice place, was only there a short while to get out the rain on a Sunday, but played some pool, had some food and had a cider - good times all round! The menu was different to what is online though, so just watch out for that, but I think that was only because it was a Sunday?

This place has a good selection of ciders and the staff were very friendly. But it is a big empty place that doesn't have a lot of character. We only stopped in for a small drink, so cannot comment on the food.
