El Square Club fue anfitrión de nuestra boda, y realmente y un lugar fantástico para ello. La comida era excelente, el servicio era fantástico y el ambiente perfecto. Jasmine fue realmente encantadora e informativa en el período previo al día y Hannah fue realmente encantadora en los pocos días anteriores y en el día. ¡Todo salió tan bien!

Qué noche fabulosa. NYE generalmente se pasa teniendo una comida encantadora con amigos. Este año queríamos algo diferente y fundamos The Square Club. El paquete NYE era increíble valor en £ 90 (precio inicial) para una noche de comida / bebida y entretenimiento. Todo incluido en el precio. El código de vestimenta era formal (corbata negra) lo que nos dio una rara oportunidad de vestir con vestidos de noche y trajes. Con el tema de Nueva Orleans accesorios de colores de cuentas y plumas es una necesidad. La noche fue a partir de las 7. 30 pm hasta la 1 am. A la llegada a las 8 pm la fiesta ya estaba en pleno apogeo. Después de escanear nuestros boletos y recibir nuestras pulseras nos dieron un vaso de prosecco y nos guiaron a la primera sala que se estableció con una barra emergente y mesa de casino. Un fotógrafo también estuvo allí para captar cada momento de la noche. Más adelante en el lugar había una banda en vivo tocando mientras un buffet estaba disponible para picar mientras escuchaba. Descendiendo la escalera de caracol nos llevó a la pista de baile que incluso a las 8 de la noche estaba ocupado. Continuamos nuestro recorrido por las instalaciones, ya que todos queríamos la comida de barbacoa en oferta a la terraza. Esta zona exterior es ideal. Dispone de numerosas mesas y cómodos asientos. Calentadores de patio en abundancia y debido a la alta construcción en los cuatro lados sin viento. La comida de la barbacoa era abundante y delicioso. El personal que cuida esta área no podía ser culpado. Las mesas se limpiaban constantemente. Había 3 bares disponibles durante la noche y teniendo en cuenta que las bebidas eran gratis, casi nunca había cola. Las bebidas a diferencia de algunos lugares no eran sustitutos baratos. Si querías un Baileys o un Barcadi eso es lo que tienes. El personal definitivamente necesita una mención. Todos eran increíbles. Del personal del guardarropa al personal del bar. Cada persona de servicio era extremadamente amable y servicial. No podían hacer lo suficiente por ti. Todos son definitivamente un crédito a este establecimiento. Celebramos nuestra fiesta de Navidad de empresa en la Plaza a principios de diciembre de 2024. El personal era muy servicial y nada era demasiado problema. Uno de nuestros directores dijo que la mejor comida de fiesta de Navidad! Nuestra experiencia fue genial, desde el primer momento con el Equipo de Eventos (organizadores de la fiesta) y durante toda la noche. El lugar es precioso y disfrutamos de las diversas áreas - comedor, pista de baile y el encantador jardín secreto era una ventaja. Gracias a todos en la Plaza. ¡Nos vemos pronto!

Organizamos un formal de invierno para nuestra sociedad en el Square Club y tuvimos una noche muy encantadora! El personal era muy servicial a diferentes y múltiples necesidades dietéticas y estaba fácilmente disponible y responsable durante la planificación y organización del evento. Recomendaría encarecidamente este como restaurante para eventos formales!

Recientemente organizamos nuestra fiesta de Halloween en The Square Club. Nos proporcionaron un gran buffet, junto con los datos de contacto para un DJ para proporcionar la música para la noche. Fui a The Square Club para Nochevieja, ¡y fue una gran noche! La barra libre fue sin duda lo más destacado – interminables bebidas toda la noche, lo que realmente hizo que valiera la pena. El buffet también estaba en el lugar, con un montón de comida deliciosa para mantener a todos en marcha. El tema disco fue muy divertido, con gran música y una multitud animada. The best Sunday lunch in the area and for such exceptional value. This is a hidden gem which we hope we can treasure forever. We got married here and love being able to come back for such delicious food and a super friendly welcome from the wonderful team.

My partner and I recently had our wedding reception at The Square Club and we had such a great time. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, and is ideal for any couples looking for an intimate, professional and sophisticated venue. The staff were absolutely amazing and helped us so much in the build-up to our wedding day. Niamh in particular was always on hand during the planning stages to discuss any queries that we had and to make sure that every detail of our day was well planned in advance. The evening itself went absolutely flawlessly thanks especially to the efforts of Jasmine, who really went above and beyond in ensuring the day was a success. She helped us with finding the best table setup, decorating the room, setting everything up and was always on hand on the day to make sure everything went smoothly. The food was absolutely delicious (no mean feat when catering for c.40 people) and all of our guests commented how perfect the venue was. Thanks again to everyone at The Square Club for all of their help – we would recommend this venue to anyone without hesitation!

Was here for a work party last month. Staff were incredible behind the bar and brought life to the night. We were helped by Taylor & Charlie throughout the evening, both of whom worked their hardest and teamed well together in accommodating our picky wants and needs, they brought an attentive and personal touch. it was nice to see a group of workers that were having fun and made our night memorable, all of our team here remember how great they were. The outside area was a pleasant surprise and was a good enough space for everyone to fit comfortably. A spot I didn't know about, but would definitely come back to for the outside alone. everyone around me had all sorts to drink, all of them loved what they were given and the food was delicious! and hot! Hopefully back here at Christmas!

We visit The Square Club often and are never disappointed. The Sunday roast is one of the best in Bristol and it’s great that the desserts are ever changing to try different things! Beth has been our server on a few occasions and always provides the best service, friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to return.

Fabulous venue for a 50th birthday party with friends and family of all ages! We had just over 50 guests and loved the versatile space - outdoors in the sunshine and also under cover if it rained, and then a brilliant bar and dance floor downstairs. The Square Club staff were amazing - welcoming, efficient and went out of their way to support us getting everything ready and clearing up at the end of the night. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back for another event!

A little gem of a restaurant tucked away near the University of Bristol. For £36pp for 3 excellent courses, plus an amuse-bouche, we were not disappointed either price or quality wise. Restaurant was modern, staff were attentive, and overall made for a lovely evening

We had our civil partnership ceremony & celebration at the Square. We are so pleased that we chose the Square to host our big day. Niamh & Jasmine took such good care of us from booking to the main event. We felt so well looked after. They thought of all the little details and made sure we could concentrate on having fun. My husband and I recently got married at The Square Club. We had the ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening party here. It excelled all expectations of what our wedding day would be. It was so smooth from the beginning to the end. Niamh was fantastic, she organised the whole day. All wedding guests spoke so highly of her and how she organised the day. We cannot thank her enough! A great day had by all!

Excellent Sunday Lunch. The atmosphere is convivial and relaxed. We were a party of 4 and we had lots of catching up so the staff were attentive but not intrusive and gave us time to chat before ordering the food,having promptly bought our drinks and complimentary bread with olive oil & balsamic vinegar The meal was tasty and a large quantity especially the vegetables. We had pork starter, roast lamb and vegetables. Followed by divine dessert of lavender crème caramel. Highly recommend.

Having a weekend break in Bristol and what a find this was. A great concept - fine dining served in a casual chilled environment with great friendly service. I can’t eat certain foods. As.soon as mentioned it was taken seriously to extent that the chef marked on a menu every item I could safely eat as was , what I couldn’t, and which courses could be adapted for me. That was great service. My partner and both had roasts dinner. One lamb. One beef. The meats , plated with roast potatoes , sauce / gravy and for the beef a Yorkshire pudding, were excellent as were the very generous portions of vegetables that were served alongside ( courgettes leeks carrots and cauliflower cheese). All veg was cooked as should be - not over boiled etc. A slight criticism- the sauce with the lamb was quite greasy / glutenous. If came again I’d ask for it to be served separately and take less of it. For pudding we had a banana tart - served thin and crispy with pistachio ice cream and a panacotta with rhubarb chunks. Both fabulous. At £25 for two courses it was exceptional value and wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend.

Had an absolute blast celebrating my 50th birthday at The Square Club on February 24th! The venue is just gorgeous, blending modern chic with a touch of class. Gotta give a shoutout to the awesome bar staff—they were the life of the party! Super friendly, they mixed up some killer cocktails and made sure everyone had a great time. Big thanks to The Square Club team for going above and beyond to make my birthday bash a hit. Highly recommend this spot for any special occasion.

The team at The Square have been amazing in hosting our HUM4NS event on the third Monday of every month for 18 months so far! From Sophie organising venue to support us to the amazing team on the night (BIG shoutout to Keegan!) our event continues to grow. The Square Club is the perfect venue to meet colleagues, clients or friends. The staff are amazing and the environment has the right mix of informal but suitable for discussion and meetings. The food is great too so all in all a really super meeting spot!

Have been a member at The Square for over 10 years now and it's become a second home to me. The team are incredibly friendly, supportive, and always up for a chat. Sophie Y, Dan, Sophie P, the bar staff, all incredibly lovely and hospitable. The food is great, the surroundings too and the events are always great when I can get to them as well. Above all they've got a brilliant event space we've enjoyed using for our own events for years now and long may that continue. I will always recommend this place (+ it's sister brands) whenever I can to anyone new to Bristol, visiting, or regular alike.

We've been members of the Square Club for a year now. After moving to Bristol from London, it's been great to feel part of a community. Met some great people. Lot's of events to get involved in - many which are complimentary to members such as the parties and lunches. Looking forward to trying out some of the reciprocal clubs in London and across Europe over the next few months. The foods great, thanks to Charlie and the team for always looking after us. We had such a fantastic private view to launch the LUSH exhibition last night. Sophie was the perfect host with a can do attitude and a warm and genuine vibe. I've been using The Square Club regularly for the last 6 or so years and can't fault the venue or the service! Over this time, I've used The Square for lunches (for c.20 people), for evening networking drinks (50-100 people) and also business workshops (20-30 people). The lounge is also a great space for me to use to catch up on work in between meetings. The food at The Square is first class and I'd highly recommend it for any business or social meetings. Sophie Yardley is the person to contact if you want looking after - she's simply brilliant; nothing is ever too much trouble!

The Square Kitchen hosted the wedding reception for our daughter and son-in-law. In every respect the service provided was exemplary. From the ambience to the excellent food, every facet of their organisation was of the very highest quality, demonstrating tremendous thoughtfulness and attention to detail. The reception experience was enhanced by their good humoured and professional staff who cheerfully accommodated the various ebbs and flows of the occasion with great aplomb. Utterly superb, and a massive contribution to the success and joy of the day.

We had our wedding at the square club on October 28th. We wanted a relaxed, intimate wedding which matched our personalities and the square club was the perfect venue. Niamh, our wedding co-ordinator was a dream, everything in the day was perfectly co ordinated and we never worried about a thing. She was amazing at cordinating everyone in the day, especially some of our suppliers who had ever visited the venue before. The staff set up the venue exactly how we wanted and made sure all our things were carefully packed away at the end of the night. The bar staff in the evening were fun, relaxed and a great team. Many of my quests and my husband commented on how great the bar staff were. All our guests commented on how delicious the food was. The kitchen staff went out of thier way to accommodate my allergies, and myself and my husband were super happy to find out own personal plate of canapés had been saved for us for after our wedding pictures, and they were amazing. We can't wait to go back to have food again at some point. All our guests complimented our venue, and many said that it was the best wedding they had attended because it was such a friendly and fun venue with a very relaxed vibe. The in house dj was great. I commented on how great it was that he seemed to be playing a great selection. Turns out my husband gave him a brief, and he more than met it. Myself and my husband, wanted a wedding that represented us as a couple and the square club met and excedded our expectations. We do not regret any part of of our day and would happily do it all over again in a heart beat. We are more than happy that we chose the square club as our wedding venue. I can't wait to get our photos back. I will be sure to update the review with pictures when we do.

Service good. Food no more than average at best. Atmosphere in our location was awful. Dark dingy basement bar with cheap furnishings, overpriced drinks. Just an awful Xmas ‘party’ experience. One big room, with minimal decorations and awful Xmas piped music.
