The best restaurants serving British food in Central Bournemouth South West

First time visiting and the food was lovely. Had a pulled pork burger and the garlic bread was amazing. The staff are absolutely lovely.

We found the deli to be very well furnished and light and airy, the menu is very extensive and caters for all types of dietary request!

4 of us were recommended this place by the traffic warden and a couple we met the night before and they were not wrong! Homely friendly atmosphere great service with food to match! Breakfast not to be missed

Lovely place for lunch, good selection on the menu and daily "specials" And its dog friendly throughout (restaurant, bar, outside seating area) 🐕 I had the chicken, bacon and avocado salad which was superb. Staff very friendly and searched out a bowl of water for my dog and brought it over too Right near the Castlemain Trail to dog walk too 👍🏼 Have already recommended to friends, and will definitely be back

Chloe was the best waitress ever strongly recommended a brunch with her serving. :-) bottomless brunch only applies to 1 meal

It was my Mum’s 80th birthday the day before & I wanted to treat her with an afternoon tea just the 2 of us. I had booked a few days prior but when we turned up the receptionist looked surprised to see us. We were shown into the bar area & a 3 tier cream tea was plonked down in front of us, not explanation of what was in the finger sandwiches or what any of the sweet stuff was, I ordered a cappuccino which unfortunately was barely luke warm. When the staff finally popped back in we ordered 2 latte which were lovely & asked what food we’d been given, unfortunately she had no idea what was in 3 little glasses but guessed at a panne cotta, this seriously needs looking at because of people with allergies & the staff have no clue on what they’re serving! The 2 scones were cold, dry & not enjoyable, food was left as it just wasn’t up to scratch. Even though I purchased this cream tea through Wowcher at a discounted price it was a real disappointment & we won’t return & don’t recommend. Such a shame such a special day was ruined ! Absolutely no care or service!

Eat out scheme excellent value, great food and the service staff are lovely. Shame place has closed as the food is exceptional. 🙁

La mejor tarta de plátano casera del mundo Guy es sin duda el mejor panadero del planeta tierra Atención al cliente de primera clase chico siempre consigue los ingredientes adecuados para hacer el mejor pastel de plátano con chips de chocolate La comida que sale de la cocina Guys es insuperable por la calidad y las porciones La oferta sin gluten para mi amigo fue increíble No te pierdas Guy siempre está sonriendo en la cocina El personal es bueno, pero Guy es el chef más amable de la ciudad

We come here quite alot as the fro yo is quite good normally. However, this month there was a new member of staff who I think normally works on Thursday evenings and they were not like all the other staff, they were rude and unenthusiastic. They also tried to charge us extra for what we normally get, a sanum. I asked for strawberries on mine as one of the fruit and we said they look a bit off and if they had anymore, she said no, in a very stern way and continued to put the strawberries on. Whilst eating we discovered the strawberries were mouldy and i had been eating mouldy food, I felt so sick

Was in Bournemouth for the weekend anniversary headed to the hilton for skybar which was closed headed across the road found this bar Eden had a fantastic night staff were lovely great cocktails and music definitely will return next time in Bournemouth 🙌🏻 thanks for a great night

Visitamos un sábado por la noche y aunque estaba bastante vacío cuando llegamos el lugar pronto se llenaba. El menú es limitado, pero ofrece una buena selección de platos. Los cócteles de gambas estaban bien presentado y encantadora y fresca. Las carnes estaban bien preparado y muy sabroso. El vino también era muy buena y el servicio era excelente. Fue muy interesante observar a las personas jugando ruleta mientras estábamos disfrutando de nuestra comida. Este es un buen lugar si lo que quieres es una gran relación calidad-precio y la oportunidad para algunos juego divertido o simplemente viendo otros juegos.

Just popped in for lunch after a trip to the Oceanarium, well worth the walk up the hill! We were served by the owner who is absolutely lovely. I had the mac and cheese and my husband had chicken gyros. It was delicious food and the price was reasonable. Lovely atmosphere and space. We will definitely come back next time we're in Bournemouth!

A very enjoyable evening with friends. Lovely food and the waitress was lovely. Highly recommend and would definitely go back 👍

Service sucks !!!! Super slow I would rather take my money somewhere else.

Entramos a tomar algo y compartir unos nachos en la zona del restaurante. Las bebidas estaban bien pero llamar a los nachos cuerda, sería demasiado amable. Comimos algunos, pero cometimos el error de pedir más queso, ya que la oferta original habría estado bien para alguien que era intolerante a la lactosa. Paul presentó una pequeña “jarra” con “queso”, aunque recordaba más a mis huevos revueltos de la mañana, ya que era amarilla, grumosa, separada y asquerosa. No lo comimos. Paul nos miró después de algún tiempo y le dijimos que realmente no era comestible. Se disculpó porque “no era de nuestro gusto, rápidamente explicamos que no era del gusto de nadie” y lo asqueroso que era. Ofreció uno nuevo. Pasamos. Los tazones ofensivos se llevaron y después de beber nuestras bebidas, nos aburrimos esperando la cuenta de Pablo, así que pedimos que pagara cuando nos fuimos. No estaba prestando atención y pité mi teléfono, solo para darme cuenta de que nos habían cobrado por los peores nachos del mundo. Mi esposa se quejó con razón pero nos dijeron que no había nada que se pudiera hacer y los reembolsos fueron imposibles al pagar con tarjeta, a pesar de que era 2025. Si fuéramos residentes entonces “tal vez podríamos hacer algo” y “por qué no pedimos que se retiraran de la factura”. Estúpidamente, pensamos que era obvio, pero ya sabes lo que dicen, ‘asume que haces el ridículo con Paul y contigo’.
