Amazing breakfast, very tasty and friendly atmosphere

Dog friendly & even more PEOPLE FRIENDLY.. situated in the heart of the Bournemouth Centre triangle, flirt amongst a parade of shops and clothes to a park. The atmosphere is very relaxed and warm, the service is very good and always with a smile, the menu is somewhat limited and moderate priced, but it’s obviously very manageable as it’s well cooked, well presented and in very quick time.. Ed the owner he’s so welcoming and friendly. It was so nice enjoying a meal in a relaxed atmosphere with our pet dog who was also warmly welcomed..

El personal era muy amable, que se aseguró de que yo estaba bien, y no les importa una charla. Sinceramente, no pudieron haber sido más útiles y me hicieron sentir relajado. Además de un par de tazas de té, pedí el almuerzo. Una envoltura de pollo y tocino, que era enorme y tan sabroso. No había nada que pudiera culpar con Flirt, y la próxima vez que esté en el sur de Inglaterra, me aseguraré de visitarlo.

I spent the afternoon at Flirt today. I was looking for a LGBTQIA+ safe space with a relaxing atmosphere so I could enjoy reading my book for a few hours. The staff were most friendly, who made sure I was ok, and don't mind a chat. Honestly, they couldn't have been more helpful and made me feel relaxed. Besides a couple of cups of tea, I ordered lunch. A chicken and bacon wrap, which was huge and so tasty. There was nothing I could fault with Flirt, and the next time I'm down in the south of England, I will be sure to visit.😘

I cannot say enough good things about this cafe!!! the service was incredible all the staff were so lovely, charismatic and charming. they were all so welcoming and helpful. the food, oh the food was soooo good. it was so so good their menu is so incredible there was nothing on there that i didn’t want to eat ( i’m vegan and their menu is one of the best i’ve ever seen) everything about this place is so amazing i was smiling and laughing the whole time. i will be back to bournemouth just for this cafe alone. was so amazing, Thank you to all the staff that served me!!! :)

First time at flirt cafe today, I came to study in the sunshine with their outdoor seating and it was wonderful. Quiet and relaxing to study at. The guys who serve are friendly, kind and quick with drinks and food. Nice funky decor inside with low tunes in the background. THE BEST PART = the salad which comes with the jacket potato, the pickled sweet onions are so yummy with massive portions for a good price. Will definitely be coming back, thanks guys!

Just popped in for lunch after a trip to the Oceanarium, well worth the walk up the hill! We were served by the owner who is absolutely lovely. I had the mac and cheese and my husband had chicken gyros. It was delicious food and the price was reasonable. Lovely atmosphere and space. We will definitely come back next time we're in Bournemouth!

A few months ago, a " trans people and their allies" group tried to have me thrown out for wearing a Trump 2024 cap . Hardly an inclusive environment. The "transperson" alerted the male staff member, let's call him "C", who proceeded to call me right wing. He knew nothing about me. He claimed the cafe to be a safe space and I that I shouldn't be wearing the cap. His degree in politics , in his opinion, trumped (no pun intended) my actual knowledge of the would be President and his political policies. "C" was very rude in front of me and my female friend, who spends a small fortune there. At the time , I thought it would be juvenile to write a scathing review and chose to deal with it by having a word with the manager the next time I saw him, which I did. Everything was ok until tonight. I've gone in for the quiz, minding my own business, with the same female friend. The manager asked me to leave unless I removed my Trump cap, "It's political.... this is a safe space...... he's said some dangerous things..." were the reason. I chose to leave and won't return. Unjustified discrimination against me. Ironically, this "safe space" is the only cafe where I've had any trouble. Given hassle by the very people the staff think they are protecting. Unfortunately we live in an upside down world. The woke liberals, believing the controlled mainstream media sound bites, cannot be saved from their own ignorance. On the plus side, there are still other independent outlets in The Triangle area which serve equally good coffee without indoctrinated , woke liberal staff preaching on a subject something they know nothing about.

Mi almuerzo de cumpleaños en Flirt fue casi perfecto. Ed ha enseñado a su personal a ir más allá y ciertamente lo lograron. Aparte de que me rompí la silla, me rompí el pantalón y me exacerbé dolorosamente la discapacidad espinal (y podía pasar absolutamente en cualquier lugar, y por lo que el personal no podía estar más preocupado ni preocupado por mí) todo el evento fue de maravilla. La comida era excelente y a tiempo, el servicio impecable, y todo el mundo lo pasó de maravilla. Stumbled across this place today. Absolutely great little spot! Food was great but the staff could not have been more accommodating… which is why I’m leaving a review. Great service always goes a long way so thanks for a lovely lunch. Great burgers and lush cheesy chips. Dog friendly too 🐶

Best café in Bournemouth by a mile. All the staff are fantastic and always deliver great service. Been going to their quiz night every Wednesday night and the community spirit is the best, I’ve made so many new friends and it’s all because of Flirt and mainly the owner Ed. Thank you 🫶🏻🫶🏻

We've been here a few times for drinks or lunch. Always a very friendly welcome. Dogs are warmly welcomed too. Everything we've eaten here is great, but most recently the Venezuelan Cachapa was the dish of the day, loved it.

It has a beautiful vibe, very friendly atmosphere and I could sit all day in it. I wish we had something like this in London.

Papas en una bebida y algo para comer, no hemos vivido en Bournemouth durante más de 8 años y solíamos frecuentar Flirt anteriormente por su gran comida y ambiente peculiar, nos decepcionó bastante verlo más como un comedor escolar con el piso blanco frío y ambiente cero. Examinamos el menú vegano y nos decidimos por el queso y cebolla tostada ya que parecía una opción segura ya que el lugar había cambiado claramente de manos, realmente disfrutamos del batido que pedimos y el Tostado era bastante decente, así que llamé a la persona que estaba atendiendo a las mesas para preguntar por la cebolla en el tostado, ya que no era cebolla fresca, pero nos gustó mucho el sabor de ella. Nos dijeron que estaba encurtido en casa y usaron vinagre de manzana, justo en ese momento uno de los miembros del personal de la pequeña área de cocina nos informó que era vinagre de manzana y miel, estábamos bastante molestos ya que la miel definitivamente no es un producto vegano, siendo estrictamente vegano definitivamente no volveríamos, no me gustaría pensar cómo es la situación con los alérgenos.

We've been coming to Flirt since it first opened and when our kids were babies. Very family friendly, great service and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend coffee, cakes, fries and milkshakes 😋 The Christmas decorations also look fabulous!😃

Great place for lunch. I’ve been there a few times with my family and we’ve always enjoyed our experience. The food is great quality and reasonably priced and we love the quirky decor. The owner is friendly and welcoming, as are the staff. This is now my go-to place whenever I’m in the town centre. Recommended.

Is this the best cafe/bar in Bournemouth? Although we were staying in a hotel that does a very nice breakfast,we prefer to eat later without getting up too early. Just a short walk through town and up to the Triangle. The interior is bright and possibly a little camp. Think pink & neon and maybe a flamingo lurking somewhere with a bit a glam. There's wooden table's & chairs, as well as comfy sofas to sink into. It's a very friendly and welcoming space. You can just have a coffee,or choose from an array of freshly prepared food. Whatever side of the fence you are,gluten free,veggie,vegan,they cater to all tastes. But we're not any of those. An all day breakfast is what we are craving. As you enter,find an available seat to settle into and place your order at the counter. This can be difficult at times,as it's a very sort after spot. The breakfast is freshly cooked to order and arrives at the table in no-time. The highlight has got to be the very tasty sausages. At £9.25,it's quite good value. In fact all their prices are very reasonable for the quality and service. In the evening they have different events as well. Our only problem is,when we bring our boys,that's doggies. We can't get out of the place. As so many people want to say hello to them. This is truly the friendliest and best cafe in Bournemouth where everyone is welcome. Oh,and our boys love all the attention.

Esto puede ser difícil a veces, ya que es un lugar muy ordenado después. El desayuno está recién cocinado por encargo y llega a la mesa en poco tiempo. Lo más destacado tiene que ser las salchichas muy sabrosas. A 9 libras. 25 , es bastante buena relación calidad-precio. De hecho, todos sus precios son muy razonables para la calidad y el servicio. Por la noche también tienen diferentes eventos. Nuestro único problema es que cuando traemos a nuestros chicos, son los perritos. No podemos salir de aquí. Como mucha gente quiere saludarlos. We had wanted to go here for a while after seeing all the wonderful activities/events that they do, advertised in the window every time we walked past. Our first visit was not a disappointment. The decor is wonderfully quirky and opulent. There is a really positive energy in the place and the staff are just so lovely. The food and coffee was great (vegan big breakfast and smashed avo on toast). The discovery of the Vegan menu makes me think that we have just found our new home.

This is a wonderful quirky dog friendly café tucked out the way. Great atmosphere & food, ticking all the boxes. Great prices, service, veggie and vegan options, selling alcohol and host's music nights too. You'd be mad not to give it a go.

We’re so glad to have found this cafe today, the warm welcome we received from a beautiful, happy young lady was wonderful. We both had a large flirt breakfast which was plentiful, cooked to perfection & tasted absolutely fabulous, I think it’s safe to say it’s the best breakfast we’ve ever had! The service was prompt & couldn’t have been friendlier, we’ll be eating here every day now for the rest of our holiday. You must give this place a try, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!

Never dissapoints! The food is always fantastic, and drinks are great. Priced reasonably for where we are. The team is always lovely and helpful ( although one of the waiters could pull up their trousers, we don't have to see your underwear while we're eating! 😅 ) but honestly, my favourite place for nice lunch

After parking the minibus in 1 of like only 2 non height restriction car parks in the whole of blimmin’ Bournemouth, I was desperate to sit down, decompress, and consume coffee. I sought the library (which is about half a mile from Queens car park) which this place is very conveniently located next to. Came in, the waitress was lovely- told me to sit down and she’d bring me a menu. It says in HUGE letters at the counter to take a menu and sit, but she obviously saw I was frazzled. Anywho, ordered vegan friendly grub. It came out promptly, big portion, with a good americano and oat milk on the side. Good food- filled me up. Reasonably priced too. Atmosphere is relaxed, friendly but also somehow vibrant. Loved the decor. After a lush brunch I headed to the library until I was needed again with the bus. 100% coming back here. Great food options, plenty for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options, and I’m pretty sure it’s independent. WiFi also faster than the library next door!

Best brunch cafe I’ve ever been to, food was very reasonably priced and tasted fantastic. The service was impeccable, every single person was so attentive and polite even when they were extremely busy due to a car festival on their door step that day. We’re only in Bournemouth two days and we’ve already made plans to go back tomorrow. Would give 1000 stars if I could.

We ordered the waffles, absolutely terrible, it’s a pre-made heated Costco wafflemeister, so dry and flakey yet it’s coated with bunch of scoops of Nutella followed by chocolate syrup, sugar dusting and maple syrup it’s almost like they are trying to sabotage our health, horrible never coming back!

I highly recommend this lovely place to everyone. It is what I call all in one experience, meaning it is a cafe, bar, and a restaurant under the same roof. I unexpectedly walked in, and I saw one lady eating their, what they call "Flirt Eggs." It looked amazing, so I ordered the same dish with a large latte. It has been beautifully served, and it had an amazing taste. I really enjoyed it. All staff here are very helpful, approachable, friendly, and kind, including their manager. They made me feel welcomed. The chef is skilled and thorough in his job, and he puts lots of effort into creating dishes to the highest level of excellence. The kitchen porter is putting lots of effort into making sure everything is nice and clean. There is definitely good teamwork here. The whole atmosphere is welcoming and calming, filled only with positive energy. Following this experience, I will definitely come back again. Thank you to all staff here for making my experience so pleasant today following my painful dentist visit earlier today. 😀 You really put smile on my face. 💗💗💗

I come here AT LEAST once a month and it has become such a special place. With great drinks, lovely staff, and a great environment there is really nothing bad to say. I come mostly for the events (craft night and karaoke)— but have never not had a good time. Huge fan of their milkshakes and I’ve never had better chips than the ones here. Flirt is such an important and lovely community hub for Bournemouth and definitely worth a visit.

My favourite cafe in Bournemouth for a late brunch. Staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is really relaxed. Eclectic decor. Good range of food for pretty much all tastes. I recommend the milkshakes and the Baileys coffee. Keep an eye out for events nights….Halloween was a scream!

I’ve been a repeat customer for the last few years and it’s one of the best friendly cafes in town. The chefs are always have to cater to slight menu changes, the staff are so welcoming and friendly and the owner is present, professional and welcoming to all customers and staff. Will continue to go here, it’s always busy but they staff will always help you get seated. Very children friendly. Lots of events to get involved in too.

Spotted FLIRT whilst exploring town.... bright & inviting. Staff warm & welcoming... variable seeing. Incredible decor & atmosphere. Coffee was so wonderful - my husband & I stayed for second ones. Had incredible heart shaped ginger biscuit. Took photos as loved everything about flirt.... Would definitely visit again....

Went on a Wednesday evening for the quiz. Very busy and a great night out. Ed, who ran the quiz was great fun.

We have had many trips to Flirt with friends and family and have thoroughly enjoyed them all! Bingo and curry night is a favourite with all the family - we always look forward to Eddies hosting and costumes! Recently, I held a private party here and Eddie was super accommodating and all my guests had a fantastic evening. Last night enjoyed a dinner with family and friends. A table for 13 people of mixed ages not easy to book but Flirt is the perfect place. Delicious food options to accommodate all ages, easy to organise as a large group as you order and pay at the bar for your order so no issues with sorting a bill end of night, milkshakes for the kids a treat, great service and a fab atmosphere. I can’t recommend enough. The team and Eddie are so accommodating and it is a joy to be there.

Always friendly staff, good customer service, lively atmosphere in the cafe, some dishes quite pricy, presentation always good when brought to the table. I had a 'special on' today from the menu, it was a toffee flavoured milkshake with fresh milk, toffee syrup and fresh whipped cream on the top, syrup drizzled over the cream. Looked very appealing for my taste buds, cold fresh milk, delicious fresh cream and toffee sauce, truly recommended it, not cheap, worth the price- £5.50 in total.

Was looking for an independently run place to go for lunch, we all eat a variety of foods I won’t eat fast food and my 17 year old is autistic so it can be difficult eating out with him. Wow did we pick the right place. Nicely laid out very clean picked up a nice clean not sticky menu, water was brought to the table, lovely friendly staff. Good menu choices and very good prices. We all agreed the quality and quantity of the food was brilliant. Even my 17yr old tried to food and ate something completely out of his comfort zone and really enjoyed what he could manage. Can’t recommend this highly enough, if we come back to Bournemouth we’ll definitely be eating here again. Thank you for a lovely experience

This was our third choice as we couldn’t get parked for the first two but Flirt was next to a car park. Touch! About to order a chicken burger and I saw this sweetcorn pancake being cooked which looked yummy so I opted for that and what a great late switch it was. Filled with feta, a lovely fresh salad nicely dosed in a dressing, a portion of homemade red slaw and sweet chilli jam which finished it off. So good, I’m taking my wife there. She’s a retired chef. It was a Venezuelan staple, the pancake but the name eludes me. Caphepa!! Try it!!

As always, the staff are super friendly and happy to see you. But even more than that, I had the BEST eggs benedict that I have ever had, and I have had a lot. I think it's the smokey bacon that does it. Ok price as well. Please keep this on the menu.
