Took family out for Sunday lunch just can not fault the food Michael and barstaff so friendly and helpful also not forgetting manager Steve in the kitchen well done all . Thanks Jan and Alan

Prices for all items on menu way over the top. Quality - nothing special . Staff very good and attentive. Decor good and fresh.

We have visited The Old Boathouse twice in last few days for a couple of alcoholic beverages. Very friendly and welcoming family team. Lovely riverside setting, seating overlooking the quay. A bonus with the sun coming out. Would certainly recommend a visit.

Had Sunday lunch and could not fault it. It was overflowing and the quality and taste excellent. Service was prompt and the price was very good. Would definitely recommend

We have been going to kings for a number of years now and untill recently have always liked the roast beef dinners. But on the last three visits i have noticed a steady decline in quality and portion size. Specifically the beef was tough, Ive had a job cutting it even with the sharp knife they supply. And the roast potatoes too are not like they were. They are too large and have what seems a very tough outer skin which again is hard to cut. Let alone eat. We probably might look elsewhere to eat .mabe give kings less visits.

We visited on a rainy cold day in June! We definitely needed hot drinks & snacks when we arrived, all delicious & well priced, definitely recommend.

We could not eat poached eggs for breakfast ... advised hostess why we left most ! Ordered scrambled next day which were OK!

We were a group of 18 who had a surprise birthday dinner in The Music Room. Everything we asked for was taken care of without any problem at all. Rebecca was very helpful in organising the dinner and accommodation and always communicated clearly and quickly (even on her day off!) The Music Room was big enough yet intimate enough for a party of our size and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food and the service were excellent and the next morning the breakfast was excellent value and quality. We will return!

Stayed here for a week with the family. It was ok, the room was a good size, the decor was great. Prices were absolutely amazing, specially knowing it is a seaside town, and a silver service restaurant.

Great band on last night and awesome food outside! Busy and friendly staff. Great night had! Good selection of beers with large open fires.

Great traditional pub with good range of ales and ciders

Lovely setting, lovely staff. Homemade tomato soup was very peppery - so much so that I couldn’t taste the tomatoes. Bread roll was ok. Hubby had vegan pasty which he really enjoyed. Shared a fruit scone which was not nice. There was a hint of vanilla (unnecessary) and an underlying taste which was horrible. I couldn’t finish mine.

A great village pub with very friendly helpful staff, will be even better when food is served again
