The best restaurants serving British food in Woking South East

This is the second time I have ordered a cake from Sweet Passion Cakes and I've been blown away again. This time I ordered a bespoke baptism cake (Belgian chocolate). Ordering is so easy, I sent across some design and colour palette ideas and the rest I left in their creative hands. WOW! Absolutely stunning cake, delicious and the perfect centre piece. We were a group of c30 for Christmas menu lunch. We enjoyed the occasion. Interesting and excellent starters. Turkey main course very good except for seriously undercooked mini cabbages/Brussel sprouts.Good sized portions. Puddings great except for Chrismas pudding judged average. Service friendly and efficient. Quite good value.

This place continues to be amazing and for years and years consistently. In particular Janes A La Carte upstairs is wonderful with classic old traditional condiments and quality you always hope for. Not forgetting the home made traditional English puddings too. I also remember how popular this Superfish was during COVID times and even gets queues now in peak times too. Very popular and I would say, the best in Surrey and we have tried a few.

What a lovely meal, the food was great we enjoyed every bite, and was able to take our leftovers home (as the portions were generous!), and our server Amelie was amazing and so accommodating, making the whole experience out with my family very special.

Great for dog walk before pub lunch. Friends had pie of the day. (Proper pie. Pastry all around not pastry on top). I had Fish and great chips. Job done.

Connor is the the most friendly and helpful member of the team always a pleasure and nothing is too much trouble we always look forward to our visit

Eaten here a few times recently and I'm loving it!! The spicy Jack Burger is a favorite and the monthly Seafood night is Awesome!! Get yourselves down there!!Bosh

I’m not going to lie, I love a premier inn, they are spotlessly clean and so comfortable, but not d never eaten at one until tonight. I can get past the fact it’s all brought in prepared and pinged but for the love of God they need to season the food. Oh t wasn’t cooked well but I was hungry and not the worse crime but steak, tomato, chips, mushroom, rocket and not even a single grain of salt. No condiments on the table, no walking around allowed, no one asking if I need anything… Shame as the staff are actually very nice. I’d rather go back to school for a meal. Very disappointing and not worth the hefty bill which is making me feel resentful l. Never again :(

Excellent small pub with a great selection of drinks and friendly staff. Midnight memento was playing that night and the atmosphere was incredible.

Kids running it and swearing too busy speaking about their personal life. And lack of smiley face and food was just slummed in the boxes no effort what so ever! Bad all over!

Booked it for a celebration for Nephew's birthday it was very busy. Loved the atmosphere and food but it was extremely busy on a lovely Sunday evening even at 6:30 pm. Loads of customers so service was a little slow however it did not ruin the food or the experience at this pub restaurant. One advice I would give beforehand is to book a table in advance just because it's very busy on most evenings and you don't want to be disappointed.

Staff are friendly new manager which I would like to wish all the best. Costa is costa coffee is great have been coming for years.

Was there for the Tuesday quiz - great fun and a decent food beer and cocktail menu to keep the team happy. Will definitekg be back!
