The best restaurants serving British food in Woking South East

I recently ordered a special cake for my mother-in law's 90th Birthday celebration, and it was delicious. She chose a Black Forest Gateau and we all agreed it was the best we've ever tasted. Even though I left it a bit late to order, Claudio and the team went out of their way to ensure the cake was ready when we needed it. I would definitely recommend Sweet Passion and will be returning very soon.

My wife and I love this restaurant, the food is amazing, the staff are friendly and welcoming, this restaurant is ideal to celebrate with family or friends.

Fantástica experiencia en general. Así es como lo haces. Éramos 6 personas. Inmediatamente pedí bebidas orden que llegó sin demora. Lo mismo con la comida - con un montón de extras solicitados. Todo atendido muy profesionalmente. Visitamos a menudo y siempre a este alto nivel.

Poppins - Woking’s “Go-To” place for breakfast. My family living in Woking use Poppins all the time, I travel up maybe four/five times a year, I always stay at ‘chain’ hotels, never pay for the soulless ‘all you can eat breakfast’, I always go to Poppins. Why - I want an individually cooked breakfast of what ever I feel like on the day, cooked to order and delivered to the table by smiling friendly staff who always engage in conversation and remember most of their customers. This is our meet up point for the annual Army v Navy rugby match. Nothing like a great breakfast to set you up for the day.

Been many times and always been great. Today was awful. An hour to get starters (nibbles) and then orders wrong for starters and mains. Food was not great when eventually arrived. If it was my first time there I would not be returning. Hope they up here game again. A real shame.

The business came very highly recommended but unfortunately 1 portion of fish was very very small, extremely disappointing as one of the most expensive around . I am hoping that it was just a one off , but at that price not inclined to try them again 😩.

They were very busy so extra wait times. The staff were excellent one girl in particular that was welcoming all the guests and handing out orders was outstanding in how she dealt with the chaos as this restaurant is just way too small on busy days like this. I ordered food and some of the wings were completely burnt on one side so not edible. If you charge over 7 pounds for 5 wings you should at least make sure they are edible. Very disappointing. Rest of the food was good but overpriced in my opinion. Nothing bad to say about the staff they should be earning more for how hard they work but food quality and value for money is very poor.

Great tasting food and dessert and amazing services all round would definitely recommend to family and friends and great table seating

Eaten here a few times recently and I'm loving it!! The spicy Jack Burger is a favorite and the monthly Seafood night is Awesome!! Get yourselves down there!!Bosh

I’m not going to lie, I love a premier inn, they are spotlessly clean and so comfortable, but not d never eaten at one until tonight. I can get past the fact it’s all brought in prepared and pinged but for the love of God they need to season the food. Oh t wasn’t cooked well but I was hungry and not the worse crime but steak, tomato, chips, mushroom, rocket and not even a single grain of salt. No condiments on the table, no walking around allowed, no one asking if I need anything… Shame as the staff are actually very nice. I’d rather go back to school for a meal. Very disappointing and not worth the hefty bill which is making me feel resentful l. Never again :(

Always a great pub to visit.

Wow! No hay palabras para describir lo agradable que era este batido a su llegada. Fui recibido por un caballero amable, atento y considerado que fue muy útil para hacerme tomar una decisión muy difícil sobre qué tener. Es seguro decir que elegí lo correcto que fue maravilloso que visitaremos de nuevo. Sin embargo, hablando con el caballero, me sorprendió saber que era parte de la tripulación y no tenía un papel más alto si el negocio va más alto, definitivamente tiene que ser parte del futuro brillante empleado.

Fabulous Sunday lunch with great service from the attentive staff. Quality of the food was brilliant and I think the roast was great value given the portion size.

We were taken to the pub with friends for lunch on a day trip out on their boat. The food & service were excellent, and our server, Bailey, was very helpful & arrentative alone of our party had some good allergies. He went out of his way to ensure that they were accommodated for. Thank you Bailey. We will certainly be back.
