Thyme Restaurant in Woking

I’m not going to lie, I love a premier inn, they are spotlessly clean and so comfortable, but not d never eaten at one until tonight. I can get past the fact it’s all brought in prepared and pinged but for the love of God they need to season the food. Oh t wasn’t cooked well but I was hungry and not the worse crime but steak, tomato, chips, mushroom, rocket and not even a single grain of salt. No condiments on the table, no walking around allowed, no one asking if I need anything… Shame as the staff are actually very nice. I’d rather go back to school for a meal. Very disappointing and not worth the hefty bill which is making me feel resentful l. Never again :(

Este restaurante está en el segundo piso de la Premier Inn (se llega por un ascensor) pero está abierto al público en general. Para aquellos que se alojen en el hotel, (y todos los restaurantes del centro de la ciudad) tienen un tomillo oferta especial, con un entrante, un plato principal y una bebida y un "comer como mucho de como "desayuno inglés completo en el precio actual de 24 libras. 99. También puede añadir un desierto para un extra de £2. 00. Sin embargo, el menú no es muy extensa y mi desierto de elección - cheesecake de vainilla - no estaba disponible cuando intenté pedir. Llegué a las 6 de la tarde (su horario de apertura) y yo era el único allí hasta casi 7 cuando unos a otros comensales llegamos, así (me cuidaron muy bien por los dos personal! Elegí el cangrejo en macetas, que llegó en pocos minutos. Para mi principal, tuve la lubina en papillote. El desayuno es un servicio de ti mismo asunto caliente y fría; cereales, fruta, yogur, etc. Personal atento, servicial y dos comidas.

La comida aquí no es lujoso, pero es muy buena y el personal es muy amable. El restaurante tiene más de un ambiente de cantina, así que no es un lugar para una cena romántica, pero si te alojas en el hotel, como estamos, tiene todo lo que necesitas. Nos hemos estado alojando durante 3 semanas y aunque el menú es bastante variado hemos intentado casi todo ahora. Los langostinos con mantequilla y queso Camembert horneado son nuestras recomendaciones para empezar. El filete de salmón y una mezcla de parrilla son también muy buenos. Las hamburguesas son un poco seca, pero las pizzas son sabrosos. Que es muy buena relación calidad-precio que puedes conseguir 2 campos y una copa de vino de la casa o una cerveza por 15 libras por persona.

Este restaurante está dentro de Premier Inn, al lado de la recepción del hotel en la 2ª planta. Está abierto sólo para la cena (a partir de las 6 pm) y los desayunos. Mi comida - entrante de gambas, salmón a la parrilla y el helado estaba bien preparado y sabroso. (No sugiero que el chef que el plato principal sería mejor servido en una bandeja plana en vez de en un plato de sopa.) El personal era atento y servicial. Recomendado!

Personalidad y aburridos. El restaurante del Premier Inn es su tipo básico de motel restaurante. El menú es básico pero está bien si quieres una comida rápida y de vuelta a su habitación para dormir. Ajo champiñones empanadas son su variedad con un shell congelados duro de miga. Estos se sirven con extrañamente barbacoa (por favor! Salsa barbacoa) como un chapuzón. Pedimos una cadera y un solomillo. Fueron correctamente preparado y sabroso pero parecían idénticos. En consulta con la camarera era admitió que eran north rabadillas. Prefiero pensar que fue un error sincero, en vez de una manera cínica de cobrar un extra de £3 o así. Desayunamos allí la mañana siguiente. Buena relación calidad-precio y variedad. Platos grasientos no estaban todas limpias.

Had the meal deal which includes breakfast and it was such great value . For £23.99 we had a starter and a main off the normal menu and a pud for £2.00 ! We both had steak and it was cooked to perfection . Such a lovely restaurant with a nice feel to it . The chef Rahj was so friendly and really on the ball , he made us feel very welcome and cooked a scrum my breakfast

This is a comment to P Inn. I'd prefer not to see into the kitchen preparation area. Interesting idea but didnt work for me. Also not comfortable for hearing aidd users. Hard floor, glass , metal makes room echoey. not good for converse

This restaurant is on the 2nd floor of the Premier Inn, Woking Town Centre, but open to anyone. I entered the restaurant at 6pm, the opening time. I was the only person in the restaurant for at least 30 minutes, but after that it became very busy with a number if family parties arriving. Despite this, the staff numbers were increased to cope with the demand. It was slightly disappointing that the starter on the menu marked as 'chef's choice' - or similar words - was unavailable. The chef came out from the kitchen to apologise personally for this. (It turned out that the duty chef was not responsible and that management had know about the problem.) I ordered an alternative, which, I am sure was just as tasty. I ordered my main course from their summer menu - Dover sole - substituting a salad for chips - which meant a very large meal, more than I could finish. The desert was delayed a little as by then, the restaurant was almost full, but this did not detract from another pleasant meal at this restaurant, which I recommend. I had breakfast the following morning, which was standard Premier Inn breakfast, with the addition of a chef standing by the hot buffet to see that everyone could choose the freshly cooked items they wanted.

Overall the menu is a boring/ uninspiring offering. The service was quite slow even when not busy and the food wasn't very hot.

As the restaurant was empty when I arrived (at the opening time as I was staying at the Premier Inn), it did mean that the staff were particularly attentive to my needs - but I'm sure that is always the case ! One of the best meals I've had in any of the Thyme restaurants I have visited. The sirloin teak was particularly tender and cooked i the way I had ordered and, as usual, well presented. No faults. I took breakfast the following morning, when the restaurant was quite busy with a umber of families. Although the cooked food was self-service, kept warm under lamps, he chef was ensuring that items were topped up regularly to ensure that the food was as freshly cooked as possible. This is not always the case in similar restaurants at or next to Premier Inn hotels..

I have been having the Breakfast in this hotel, its good. For the dinner I have had very few options as I am a Vegetarian, but still they have good burgers where 1 can have a taste of it.

This restaurant is situated in the Premier Inn building (on the 2nd floor, next to the hotel reception area), but is open to the general public. Evening meal times do not start until 18:00 and, as I arrived at that time and, I found that for about the first half an hour, I as the only diner, so service was perfect ! However, when others arrived, they seem to get the same attention. The menu is quite limited, even by the standards of other Thyme Restaurants, but does have a free "visit as many times as you like" salad bar. The food was well presented and perfectly cooked, though the mushroom and bacon rarebit topping on the steak didn't look quite right. Breakfast the following morning was a standard Premier Inn breakfast. Again, pleasant staff - and the chef was even checking that everyone was happy with the cooked food at the buffet, which was unique for Premier Inn breakfasts. Unlike my last visit to a Thyme Restaurant, the plates had been warmed and the croissants perfectly cooked. Recommended for dinner and breakfast.
