Fabulous 10 course tasting menu for lunch with friends. Superb cocktail to start. Very relaxed atmosphere and attention to detail. Friendly, knowledgable and efficient staff. 3 hours of enjoying excellent, tasty, interesting food. Recommended.

What a lovely place, I'd go again.

Great variety of pies, mash and peas or beans. Good service and food arrived hot. Would recommend if you are a fan of pies.

The atmosphere was so good and the team who looked after us were delightfully friendly. We had fish which was superb! The wine was top just right and reasonable.

Attracted by the reviews, dropped in on spec with my Mum looking for a lunch that was a bit special. I liked the place immediately. It was busy but Roman was running front of house that day and looked after us both really well. Everything was a pleasure and my Mum said she'd eaten the best lunch she'd had in years. Well recommended indeed.

As a bartender myself I can appreciate greatness, and this place has it! My favourite bartender here makes THE BEST margarita I have drunk that is not of my own making. And that is saying something!

Went here for a last minute roast and it was absolutely amazing, ordered the roast lamb and it fell straight off the bone. Service and staff were great, reasonably priced as well which is a plus, would have happily paid more. Will be coming back!!

Nice hotel about ten minutes walk from the railway station and about 15 minutes walk to the ports close to the city centre room was nice clean and tidy fantastic breakfast loads of different things to have Lewis on the front deck was very impressive and helped good base before the join your ship .

Went with kids in family to play pitch & putt & have lunch. Last year we did the same & there was a notice saying CASH ONLY which we thought was a temporary thing. It seems not. Meaning only enough £ for 9 holes of golf & 1 can of Coke. Went up to Royal Victoria Country Park for lunch which was lovely & weirdly they take both cash & card.

We arrived to an empty establishment yet the tables were dirty. The serving person cleaned the tables but service itself was very slow. When we asked for the bill we weren't actually shown it, she just put the numbers into the card machine and it was only after we paid that we discovered we'd been charged a service charge. There was no mention of this on the menu. I have no issue tipping for good service but an automatic charge on a table for four when the service was poor is ridiculous. I would definitely not return.

It was quiet being that it was breakfast time. Only saw two staff, And many tables were full of plates. But understandable if understaffed. The food came promptly and was very nice
