The BEST roast ever! I had the nutroast and my partner had the roast turkey and both were so tastey. The roast potatoes were amazing and the veg was plentiful. We couldn't fault it. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. We'd definitely go back again and would recommend 😁

A firend who livesin Sussex had had this recommended to her and so a group of friends took the train to Seaford to meet for lunch and a walk. The View does have a lovely view , and is close to the path down to the sea. We ate later than hoped as I had been delayed by missing the connection at l;ewes which allows only 4 minutesto get across the bridge to the Seaford Train. We ate a while before 2pm and they told us they had a very limited menu. Two of us ordered veg sausage and mash, but they only had one portion of mash and the other had to make do with chips. Another peeson had a cheexe sandwich which came with chips and I cannot remember what the fourth person had except it had a large dollop of salad cream. The sausages were okay, but nothing special and the other food was ordinary, I would recommend this if you would like a drink while you admire the lovely view , but there are better places to have a nice meal in Seaford

Went to this lovely pub on 20th December for a staff Christmas dinner. We received a very warm welcome from the wonderful bar staff. Our drinks were kept flowing all evening and the food was absolutely superb. The staff went over and above to make sure all tastes were catered for even providing a starter that was not on the set menu. We really appreciated your warm and attentive service and all staff members agreed that they would definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful start to the Christmas holidays for a bunch of weary teachers - its been a long term !!!!!

We thought we'd give The White Hart a go a few Sundays ago as we were child free. We've tried most places in the area and most have been thoroughly disappointing so after looking at reviews on here we thought we'd give it a go. I will admit when I saw the sign that said 2 for £14 on roast my heart sank a little as I expected it to be a cheap wetherspoons type roast. Well I was BEYOND WRONG. The roast was AMAZING! We both had the 3 meat roast, chicken, gammon and beef and the care and attention that the chef had put into the food he served was obvious from the moment our plates were put down. Beautifully presented with perfect homemade Yorkshire puddings, perfect roast potatos and all of the meats we're tender and juicy. We were just astounded at the quality. Since then we've been back twice, once for a roast and another time on a Friday night and all 3 times have been equally good. The food is incredibly cheap but absolutely delicious and plentiful. The bar staff friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere welcoming. This is absolutely now our go to place for a roast, being a qualified chef I get so sick of places serving par standard roast dinners but The White Hart far exceeded out expectations. Our new local. Keep doing what youre doing and compliments to the Chef!

Lovely old pub , good range of table sizes. Menu is original and there is a specials board. All food was tasty with generous portions. Service was friendly but had a little too long wait for the food. Be aware dogs are allowed in the pub so you could have a dog next to you! The hake dish was excellent. Enjoyed our visit.

Stunning venue in the centre of the historic town Lewes! I was so fortunate to be able to photograph Fran & Pj's wedding at Pelham House and I loved every minute. The outdoor ceremony area is lovely and seculed and the rooms within the hotel are perfect for photography with lots of natural light. I really hope I can return back to Pelham House soon to capture another wedding.

I visited with 21 University students 2 years running and Abi, Nicci and and the team were fantastic- serving up great value and tasty food and coffee promptly. Great location overlooking the park and Downs. Handy for Peacehaven FC. Outside seating and toilets.
