Lovely atmosphere, very friendly and attentive bar staff, best food ever. Shout out to Taylor for giving me the best customer service I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend!

Had an amazing 3 course lunch at The Shore on Mothers Day, The seafood starter was delicious, The roast Lamb was cooked to perfection and the deserts were just amazing. To top it all, I am Coeliac and they went out of their way to serve me with gluten free Yorkshires, stuffing and gravy. Thank you to all the staff who were very friendly and attentive, The price was good too!

Lovely Sunday lunch with my family. Good yorkshires and tasty roast potatoes and a good selection of well cooked vegetables. Definitely recommend it.

Just had an amazing roast at the Shore bar. Reasonably priced at £8.95, where some pubs are £14-15. Yes the carpets worn and decors dated but this was one of the best roast I’ve had in a pub for years. Staff were friendly and will definitely be back very soon.

I took my wife for some food to the shore, the service was friendly the home cooked food was great and to cap it all of the price was unbelievable, you couldn’t buy it and cook it any cheaper, would highly recommend the Shore.

Aysha was absolutely amazing with the service and brought drinks and food so promptly! Her flamboyant personality made our visit even better!

After a long 15 mile hike we managed to find the shore to watch the football. Despite the kitchen being shut for 30 mins, they managed to open it back up to help us out. The staff are all amazing, especially Aysha who helped us out and was overall an absolute legend. Would advise to anyone looking for amazing food and cheap pints.

An absolutely amazing Sunday roast dinner cooked to perfection at the Shore in Seaford, all for just £7.95. Great dinner, great value and great customer service.

We visited Sunday 30/5, a busy bank holiday weekend. We visited for breakfast, were greeted by friendly staff, one a young lady with brown hair and a fringe. Orders taken and food served quickly, coffees were lovely, and the kids were made really welcome. Great service, the lady mentioned above was brilliant- and made sure we had everything we wanted. We will definitely visit again. Thank you

I visited on Friday the 21st of May, when there I was served by a woman with brown hair and a fringe, she was wearing a red top and black jeans at the time, I did not catch her name. I found her to be extremely rude and abrupt. She walked away without saying a word after I paid. No thank you, nothing of the sort. Disgusted by the way she acted, as if she was the boss. Her attitude was appalling. Will not be coming back.

Calm friendly atmosphere. comfortable and clean. a very good place to sit down and unwind. The food is excellent. a good range and very good standard of quality. I highly recommend it. Very good service, you get exactly what you ask for with a friendly and appreciative staff. It is rapidly becoming one of my number one places to eat in the southeast. Ignore complainers, they simply cannot be reasonable. This is a very good environment and great value.

Spent Saturday evening here, had the best steak I've had in a long time and the drinks were all very reasonably priced. There was a very good atmosphere overall and coronavirus restrictions all adhered to very well.

Went there the other day and had a lovely time. Food was AMAZING, the staff were really friendly and it felt a very safe place (given current circumstances) with anti bac for each table and a buzzer for table service. Will definitely go there again!

Bar snacks looked they came straight out of the freezer at Lidl. Both burgers were dripping with fat. Seemed to have been cooked before on the grill then warmed up in a frying pan. Disgusting and will not eat here again.

What a dive this place is. rude staff, management with no people skills whatsoever, beer stagnant, food inedible, toilets filthy. No ambiance. Don’t waste your time going to this establishment.

Lovely food! I had the Daddy Ribs and the Mushroom Dippers as a side which was amazing! The ribs fell off the bone and the meat was tender and full of flavour. Would highly recommend!! Large portions and full of flavour. Staff were lovely and very family friendly. 10/10!! Will definitely be going back!! Highly recommended going here!

I came with 4 friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.The food was really tasty and very affordable.We had a member of our group that was gluten free and the chef said he would go to the shops to get him a gluten free burger bun which was really lovely.Our waitress was very attentive, smiley and polite.There are comfy sofas inside if you want to chill and have a pint, tables if you want a meal and a cute garden area for summer time and smoking.I would highly recommend this place to everyone :)

Went in after it opened since Covid. Had a beautiful BLT. All Their meat is from the local butchers. All the bread is from the local bakery. Great new management. Seems to really care. All social distancing being adhered to. A fresh outlook on a pub that seemed to be going downhill. I'd recommend it. Great food etc.

Sammi cooked the most deliciously tasteful vegetable lasagne, probably the best I have ever tested. She came out of the kitchen to enquire as to whether I liked the lasagne and I told her it was lovely

Visited here spontaneously while passing through. Ordered from the lunchtime value menu (2 courses for £8!! Very impressed). Nice selection of drinks as well. Food came faster than expected which left me with plenty of time for a latte before my train! Will definitely be back when in the area

A group of us waited and waited for a waitress to take our order, we had to go and remind them we were still waiting. We then waited ages for the food, it was practically empty, just a couple at the bar. The chips were dry as if had been cooked well beforehand. Good value though. Their website had a question regarding dog friendly, one said yes and another no so I didn't take my dog but they are allowed in. They need to look at their website and check details. I telephoned them and left a message asking and my phone number but a day later and no-one has rung be back. It is a big shame as they must be losing customers on a half term weekend.

Terrible visit for lunch today. Staff so rude it made me cringe. Toilets filthy. No toilet roll. Taps not working. Soap clearly watered down! Luckily I had hand sanitizer gel with me. Will avoid this place in future.

My friend had fish and chips and I had macoroni cheese which has to be the best I have ever tasted. Would thoroughly recommend this pub/restaurant

I had one honour for lunch. I had to wait nearly 20 nibs for the waitress who told me there was a 40 minute wait for food so had to leave but no time to go anywhere else. Will never go there again

Had to wait AGES for fried breakfast even though no one in restaurant- food was good, would go again, they are very good with kids unlike other old-person cafes in seaford!

The rugby World Cup three up a massive surprise today with South Africa winning but the best bit of the day was the best breakfast I have ever had. ( cooked by Louise) and my other half having amazing scrambled eggs. Service was great and food was amazing. Bring your friends and family.

The food is good and they have a new manager who is very customer focussed. She ,made our recent visit very enjoyable and nothing was too much trouble. Would thorouoghly recommend this place

Located in the town centre close to the railway station, this pub is a great place for the whole family to relax and enjoy a hearty meal or just to have a quick cuppa.

The Shore ist eine Mischung aus traditionellem Pub, Bar und Restaurant. Es gibt mehrere Tische und dazwischen einige Loungebereiche. Das Speisenangebot ist traditionelle Pubküche und die Preise sind moderat. Leider ist es relativ laut, da der Raum offen gehalten ist und auch von draußen dringt doch eine erhebliche Lärmkulisse nach innen. Alles in allem gutes Essen, faire Preise und nette Bedienung

Went there for breakfast with my Nana this morning and couldnt have asked for better food, coffee and service. The boss man was a true gentleman aswell. Food was outstanding and the waitress was amazing aswell. Highly recommend!

Staff are soooooo rude!!! Walked in never been here before. Prior to my partner and I seeking a table the waitress of whom I guess was working the restaurant floor stomped to the bar shouting 'THE CUSTOMER WANTS A CAPPUCCINO THEY WANT A CAPPUCCINO!!! the older women behind the bar laughed and replied "huh they want ????' I looked at my partner saying there was a place across the road, and I made certain the staff heard when I said in a firm voice 'I don't appreciate the jumped up arrogant manner in which they treat their customers. Been here on 2 thursdays for breakfast and found very friendly, excellent good size breakfast which is reasonable price. went with friends and all enjoyed. will go again

Worst experience in a very long time for lunch anywhere! Service was appaullimhy didn’t get served at the bar no was around so we waited at the table for which after 45 minutes of arriving finally ordered drinks and food. Then waited over an hour for the food to arrive for it to arrive clearly heated in a microwave or sat under a lamp to keep warm none of us left satisfied. During the wait for food went to the bar on two occasions to get another drink for there to be no staff to be seen on either occasions again waited at the table to be served no one came. Ended up going to Tesco across the road whilst we waited for food to get a drink! Arrive back still no food. Never got an apology, explaination or even asked if everything was okay with our food. When we went to pay it was then an issue for us to pay separately. But again was there fault was ordered all together anyway!! Whilst waiting to pay we overheard another complaint and people behind us complaining too! Never ever returning!

I recently revisited and I must say the food has improved massively! The staff are just amazing, helpful, friendly and welcoming!

A year ago we would be pushed to get a table on a Friday lunchtime, the place was buzzing … a year on and an ill-fated change in management in early 2018 and the place is dead. Another change in management and they have restored the meal deal (lunchtime menu) and the value and quality has returned, but as yet, the customers haven’t.

Had our works christmas party 7th December 2018. Gotta say had an amazing evening.Food fantastic,staff totally on the ball (clearing tables quickly) and very friendly.Amanda (new manager) went above and beyond to make our Christmas party a night too remember. Soooooooooooo a big huge thankyou to Amanda and all the staff for the the fab food and brilliant night............... bloody fantastic...... well done guys, will be seeing you all soon..... cheers from Vicky and all at Barclay House x

Came here on Saturday 10th November 2018.

We were in a hurry on the night we decided to visit. A seriously bad move. Not only did the food take forever (we were the only ones in there) it was of extremely poor quality. We bravely ate up and got out as quick as we could. Never again.

I visited Seaford yesterday for a meeting with my sister for a funeral, we didn’t know seaford so we kept near the station, we had lunch in a local pub called the shore.

Staff are awful. Miserable, rude and no concept of manners at all. Will avoid in future. Its a shame as it used to be a fun place to drink.

We went to the Shore as had been before and had a good meal. I had lasagne and chips. The lasagne was dry and hard. And probably reheated from lunchtime (actually may have been heated from last Fridays lunchtime). It was pretty disgusting but I felt I had to keep trying to eat it as my sister brought it for me!! Eventually I gave up. Will not be going here again. Shame as it was good before!! Don’t know what they have done to the place since putting up TVs and playing sky sports but not good!

This place appears to be where all the younger locals go. There was a disco going on and there was a lot of agro between some of the clientele- we left and soon found out from staff at a local restaurant that this is a common occurrence on Fridays and Saturdays - we didn’t try the food there so couldn’t comment on that.

Cheap beer. I liked the seating around the bar, American style. But the bar staff terrible. Too busy chatting with themselves and their friends and relatives who occuped the lower end of the bar. I felt I was intruding to ask for a drink. Get ypur act together. Until you do. I will stick with the KINGS HEAwesome pub

We meet up with family for a meal out. This was our first visit here. The service was reasonably quick and the food was good. The member of staff were accommodating. Easy access and in a good central location.

This place is good for cheap drinks, but definitely not for food. Everything we ordered was very bland, even the chips were soggy and tasteless.

Always used to enjoy the Shore, good food, good value and and of course table service. Recently visited to find all this had gone. The food seems like cheap supermarket food, no longer fresh and no longer good value for money. The one thing that stood out from other pubs was the table service, but this seems to have gone also. Staff no longer seem interested in comments. Tables and floor always sticky where not cleaned properly.

Visited there on Friday with a meal gift voucher given as an xmas present..

We met friends for a couple of drinks before having a meal else where just after we sat down in the very comfy sofas a fight broke out at the bar drinks and tables everywhere. we finished our drink and left.

Very different from our last visit. Last time the pub was full of mums + buggies. Maybe because they had lunch deals, no longer available.

We've been here for several lunchtime and evening meals/ drinks and found it to always be great value for money with a good choice or both food and drinks and especially like the fact that they do table service so no need to que at the bar to order food. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food always comes out in good time, if they are very busy we have always been told there might be a slight delay on food but we've never waited longer than 25 minutes for anything. Would defiantly recommend. It's a very large pub that is a family friendly pub/ restaurant during the daytime's and weekday's but more like a nightclub on Friday and Saturday nights with a regular DJ and does get very busy.

I reviewed The Shore back on 2nd March this year. Was very poor. I always try to give another chance, so have been there since. Lunchtime with a mate... Quite good..nice sandwich and baked potato and good service. I then returned one evening..with my wife.. NOT GOOD !. I picked out a Sussex Smokey...to be told ( as we were 2nd March)....'we no longer do those...but we will have an exciting new menu coming soon'.. I assumed that after 6 weeks..this WAS THE EXCITING NEW MENU!.. So I ordered Moroccan lamb.. 'We no longer do that....we have a new menu etc etc'.. On the specials board was 'Sizzling fajitas'.. The chef obviously has some kind of reading difficulty. I will describe this totally truthfully. A cold circular white dinner plate with 2 thin cold pita breads. A dish of sour cream..a dish of grated cheese..a bit of salad. NOW...the important bit.. The meat...luke warm microwaved meat ..onion and pepper...served on a small STONE COLD oval pie dish. Not exactly sizzling ..and not nice!. Maybe by Christmas...the exciting new menu will arrive !...waiter totally disinterested.... I've really got to give up hoping it will change. Lunchtime...is Ok....

What a great shame. My wife and I have enjoyed many a good meal at The Shore at reasonable prices but it has all gone now. No deals at lunchtime or weekday evenings and the general feel of the place has gone downhill.

The shore is Comfortable with good value food and a friendly atmosphere. Good for relaxing lunches in Seaford.

We used to go here all the time and eat..lunchtime with mates and evenings with my wife. Was always great. We had a family gathering last October and without exception all were impressed. It did seem that it was being set up to be sold and that seems to hold true. It changed hands and staff. Now...small portions..no special deals ..low food quality and has gone from one of the best to one of the worse. People are now voting with their feet and once again it's 'mates at the bar...noisy pool table'...and much fewer diners than before. Hopefully it will once again be sold to people who understand Seaford. I would be too embarrassed to recommend it to anyone now.

An hour fifteen wait for a burger, a salad and fish and chips. Had to ask three times for water....

Popped in for lunch while shopping. Really good pub grub. Not the most salubrious place in Seaford but really good...

Lovely meal. Served in good time. Pleasant and professional staff. Enjoyed a really good steak. Will be coming back ☺

I would probably have rated this 3 1/2 rather than 4 but it is in comparison with other Seaford pubs...

Wir waren zu dritt zum Lunch im The Shore und waren mit dem Essen sehr zufrieden. Steak, Burger und Fish and Chips schmeckten sehr gut und waren schön angerichtet. Die Bedienung war freundlich, mit etwas mehr Herzlichkeit und einem Tick mehr Engagement hätte es die volle Punktzahl gegeben.

called in here on the spur of the moment, having been many times before. and as usual it didn't dissappoint. we had steak with all the trimings & a couple of beers. the steaks were cooked to perfection. Oh and my starter of Deep Fried Haloumi chees with chilli jam was a suprise & really really nice.

Will we didn't finish the meal. IT'S A PUB and it stink's like one the floor was sticky and in the end we just left the meal.

We visited this Bar / Pub twice while on a weeks Holiday in Seaford in August and it is a nice place with nice friendly staff but it was so hot in the Bar that we were immediately perspiring profusely - it was really uncomfortable and embarrassing - I needed a towel to be wiping my face !

Louis and the Staff at the Shore did a fantastic job for my Wifes Birthday. 14 people all having different meals, all brought out at the same time, all hot and delicious. Well done all. A great place and really nice atmosphere.Main course and Dessert for £9.95 (check for deals) - whats not to like.Dave T

We visited whilst staying in Seaford for a couple of days. The service was good, very polite and friendly staff. The food was nice. We didn't have to wait long to be served.No complaints.

Our server was cheerful and helpful! We really enjoyed our fish and chips along with a cold beer. It was a late lunch served in the back where a table for 8 was waiting for us as we had called earlier. We highly recommend you visit Seaford and The Shore restaurant for sure!

Went there with my friend for lunch, and when the food turned up it was so well presented, and when I tucked in the Gammon was so tender and done to perfection, my friend had the Chicken Cajun and was perfectly presented with loads of chicken and he thoroughly enjoyed, the staff are friendly would recommend every time.

I visited The Shore this week for lunch with my husband, daughter and grandson. As usual the food was great, excellent value for money. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. We had a lovely relaxing lunch.

I met up with old workmates from Woolies for dinner at the Shore. We all had the offer starter & main or main & dessert for £9.95. There was good choice on the menu & it didn't seem we were in Seaford. Our server was very friendly & efficient . The food was lovely. Three of us had the Cajun chicken salad followed by Raspberry cream brûlée. Would Definatly come back

Had a burger and a steak here one night. Portion sizes were really big, we struggeled finishing our plates! Pretty basic, but tasty and fresh meals and the service was very friendly. Not too expensive either.They do offer very cheap cocktails which were a bit disappointing. Wouldn't mind paying a bit more for an long island ice tea (was 2 for 8 I think?!) if it would be properly mixed and sized..!

We have eaten at the Shore several times the service is excellent always a well come smile, I can not fault the food plenty to choose from and very good value.

Went to the Shore for lunch after a lovely walk along the sea front. We were not disappointed again. We chose from the lunchtime menu, such good value. My friend had beef lasagne that came with chips and salad for £5 and I had fish and chips that came with salad and tartare sauce and peas, £5. I had room for a desert and chose Banoffi pie with ice cream and both our meals were delicious. My total bill was £8. The service was quick and we got asked if our meal was OK shortly after we had started eating, I've been to posher more expensive restaurants where I haven't been asked if everything is OK.Definitely recommend going there for lunch for a cheap but delicious meal if you are in Seaford.The photo is my Banoffi pie.

Enjoyed lunch here with my husband. Nice welcome, spotlessly clean, great value special lunch menu. Ate the chicken salad with some chips . Delicious! Proper chips which is a rarity nowadays. The sticky toffee pud was to die for. Please do not be put off by the outside. It really is worth a visit. There is a garden at the back but we did not see it.

We went here today for lunch, baring in mind there was 6 of us, food came out piping hot and it was all cooked to perfection. Service was good. The waitress(woman with a piercing under her eye) was phenomenal. Helpful and very smiley, exactly what you want. Would return here for lunch again.

We came here on a mid week evening. The starters were good (white bait and haloumi fries). The garlic bread was over cooked. The mains would have been lovely (burger and steak) if they weren't so over cooked. In total we waited 45 minutes for food and then 30 mins for them to give our bill. Despite it not being busy. When we complained about how burnt the steak was. They offered to take the additional charge for peppercorn sauce off the bill; and then didn't. Not in a hurry to return.

Went here with friends on a Sunday afternoon. The starters were quite nice but the main courses weren't very good at all. We all had something different, not just the roast dinner. We were all very disappointed and wouldn't bother going there again. Although their coffee isn't to bad for the price!

Went for lunch with my mother in law.Found the food and service brilliant and the shore doesn't skimp on there portions.would definitely visit the shore again. Prices are brilliant especially between midday and 15.30pm

I popped into this big pub one weekday recently and was delighted to find that even at 3pm I was able to order an excellent (and big) plate of scampi, chips, peas and the all important tomato ketchup and tartare sauce. All for just £5 and served by pleasant staff. That's my only experience (though I later saw that it is a disco on a Saturday night - and looked busy and buzzy).

Friendly atmosphere, spacious room, fast serving. The pub is run by young and friendly people. We just had fish and chips and prawn and chips but they had sufficient choice of other meals. We didn't see the rude barman that others apparently met and the furniture has also been changed compared to the pictures on tripadvisor.

Really nice bar and restaurant with friendly and helpful staff, I stayed in the area for 4 nights and I ate here for 3 of them, it was ideally situated for me being only a five minute walk from my accommodation and if I'm ever in Seaford again this is where I'll be going.

Me and the hubby had a late lunch here today. We both had meals from the lunchtime specials menu and boy was we surprised. Chilli con carne and Lasagne both tasty, home cooked and more than adequate portions. We followed this up with Banoffee pie and we had a tea and coffee all for £18 (£8 for two courses, £1 each for the drinks). The staff were friendly and efficient.Not that busy but it was 2.30 pm. The toilets were clean, stocked and smart (no smells). My only criticism would be the drab, dark decor, it needs to be brightened up.We would definitely go back again and recommend it to friends.

Popped in on a Monday evening as this is the local pub for me usually stays open until late Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays bands disco for late pint or two, but not tried the food before however very nice surprise Good value for money with their special meal deal included a drink, the food is normal pub menu tasty large portion, with friendly "waiter service" will be definitely going again

Service and food were both average. Portions were on the small side. Was very reasonably priced so would still say it is value for money but nothing special.

We went for a quiet lunch on a Friday. The food was excellent as per usual, the service swift and decent. However it seemed every parent in Seaford had just collected their kids from nursery and going to the shore in gangs of two or three! There were pushchairs everywhere. Mostly the kids were quiet, but a few were running around. The lower entrance part of the Shore is accessible, although they do have portable ramps if you ask to access the raised area- which is just as well as the accessible toilet is in the raised area.
