What a gem of a place! Beautiful courtyard, very busy. The man serving was friendly we had a large cafetière and sat in the sun. Scones looked fab but we were out for lunch so didn’t indulge. Will definitely go again , a lovely place.

Early 60th afternoon tea, everything was perfect !! Venue, music, hosts, we will be back and what a gem of a place., highly recommend. Thank you both for a lovely afternoon, we will be recommending.

This Coffee Roaster is run by very professional and friendly people. I have visited several times and their coffee is amazing, I would strongly recommend here if your a coffee lover.

Situated in a small business park, nestled in the South Downs, I visit this cafe several times a month. A very good menu, with a warm welcome, indoor and outdoor seating and pets welcome. Open weekdays until 2pm

I am 60 yrs old and have just had the best chorizo bbq burger in my life. Fantastic. Get there before he closes tonight.

Lovely service, real English atmosphere and realy good breakfast. We were to late for dinner when we came, but they fixed up something anyway and it was realy good.

Food excellent, calamari, prawns and chicken and mushroom pie with crumble for dessert. Very comfortable and pleasant ambience, server attentive, polite and accommodating. Looking forward to next visit.

Overpriced food. Pathetic portions. A huge amount of money for tiny portions of food. We went for lunch and came away hungry! Wouldn’t go back. Massage with Jane was lovely though. Lovely lady. We were here in October. This was a gift so I’m glad I didn’t pay!

Driven passed this pub at least 30 times on way to Gatwick over the years but never stopped. Visited on Thursday 26th September at 1:30pm. Reasonable sized car park with lots of spaces. Pub has oak beams which gives it a real traditional vibe. Didn’t book a table but was able to be seated straight away. Good choice on the menu. We had ciabatta baguettes (one halumi one sausage/onion) washed down with a Prosecco and a beer. Service good and baguettes only £9 each. View out the back of the pub over the South Downs is stunning! Worth knowing that last food orders are 2pm for lunch. Would definitely return.

Incredible menu of unusual combinations - hard to choose. Our food was delicious. Portions were enormous. Excellent service.

Lunch on the 8th hit the spot as always 👍..& has often been the case, 2 😋😋 omelettes were consumed with gusto 👍👍... You know we'll be back & probably for the reasonably priced Christmas fayre menu..👍

Our club held their annual dinner gathering here last week. It was a new venue for us, but we will be coming back! As there was a large number of us, we had to pre-choose our food. The selections for us were very tasty and, without exception, everyone really enjoyed it. The monkfish and the sauce was standout and I would highly recommend it. The vegetarian choices were also delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a separate area for the group which was very cosy. Nicely decorated and had a warm atmosphere.

Wonderful hospitality and wonderful food!! everything was great but the chocolate mousse desert was absolutely sublime!! It was possibly the best pudding I have ever had - certainly the best I can remember - it was one of those things where you have to stop and just savour every mouthful! Silky smooth chocolate mousse with a quenelle of cointreau Chantilly cream and a fantastic chocolate crumb! Words can't do it justice you must try it !!

I cannot begin to tell you how poor our turkey christmas meal was today. The meal was luke warm. Turkey had no flavour; roast potatoes had been previously cooked and not reheated properly; vegetables were nothing to shout home about and service was very laid back to say the least. What was meant to be a most enjoyable family meal quite honestly was a huge disappointment. I would not return to this site again even if someone paid me.
