The best restaurants serving British food in Horsham South East

What a gem of a place! Beautiful courtyard, very busy. The man serving was friendly we had a large cafetière and sat in the sun. Scones looked fab but we were out for lunch so didn’t indulge. Will definitely go again , a lovely place.

Early 60th afternoon tea, everything was perfect !! Venue, music, hosts, we will be back and what a gem of a place., highly recommend. Thank you both for a lovely afternoon, we will be recommending.

We had a fantastic time here; Afternoon tea for a baby shower. The food was delicious, all freshly made and great quality as well as quantity. Lovely pots of tea as well as cold drinks. It is a perfect place to relax, natter and be taken care of. Thank you so much

This Coffee Roaster is run by very professional and friendly people. I have visited several times and their coffee is amazing, I would strongly recommend here if your a coffee lover.

I am 60 yrs old and have just had the best chorizo bbq burger in my life. Fantastic. Get there before he closes tonight.

Situated in a small business park, nestled in the South Downs, I visit this cafe several times a month. A very good menu, with a warm welcome, indoor and outdoor seating and pets welcome. Open weekdays until 2pm

Lovely service, real English atmosphere and realy good breakfast. We were to late for dinner when we came, but they fixed up something anyway and it was realy good.

The Selsey Arms, you have really outdone yourself tonight! Bar staff have gone above and beyond for us tonight, friendly and approachable. The food just keeps getting better and better. I cannot recommend this country pub enough.

We had a group of 11 for lunch and I must say the food and service were just brilliant. Food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. We will def be back to this great country pub

The food is really outstanding! All meals we had were full of flavour and cooked to perfection. A regular of ours. Atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. Parking is free and there is plenty of it. Very clean with beautiful views of the countryside.

Driven passed this pub at least 30 times on way to Gatwick over the years but never stopped. Visited on Thursday 26th September at 1:30pm. Reasonable sized car park with lots of spaces. Pub has oak beams which gives it a real traditional vibe. Didn’t book a table but was able to be seated straight away. Good choice on the menu. We had ciabatta baguettes (one halumi one sausage/onion) washed down with a Prosecco and a beer. Service good and baguettes only £9 each. View out the back of the pub over the South Downs is stunning! Worth knowing that last food orders are 2pm for lunch. Would definitely return.

Incredible menu of unusual combinations - hard to choose. Our food was delicious. Portions were enormous. Excellent service.

Lunch on the 8th hit the spot as always 👍..& has often been the case, 2 😋😋 omelettes were consumed with gusto 👍👍... You know we'll be back & probably for the reasonably priced Christmas fayre menu..👍

Our club held their annual dinner gathering here last week. It was a new venue for us, but we will be coming back! As there was a large number of us, we had to pre-choose our food. The selections for us were very tasty and, without exception, everyone really enjoyed it. The monkfish and the sauce was standout and I would highly recommend it. The vegetarian choices were also delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a separate area for the group which was very cosy. Nicely decorated and had a warm atmosphere.

We came here for dinner and drinks with family. We are visiting from Canada do it was lovely to go to a very traditional pub. The food was excellent as was the service. We all had something different and it was all very well prepared. The local beers were very nice. We certainly recommend this delightful pub and will be back on our next trip to the UK.
