Early 60th afternoon tea, everything was perfect !! Venue, music, hosts, we will be back and what a gem of a place., highly recommend. Thank you both for a lovely afternoon, we will be recommending.

A gem of a place to visit! The food was tasty, fresh, home baked and beautifully presented. We couldn’t have been better looked after. They did everything possible for us to enjoy our afternoon tea. We will visit again!

We came to Christina's for a birthday afternoon tea. A warm welcome greeting from Christina and Brian, shown to our beautiful laid table and presented with a gorgeous stand of sandwiches savoury, scones and cakes,served on nice china plates. Nothing was too much trouble. The tea room is small and cosy and tastefully decorated. Thank you for a lovely afternoon and birthday treat. Paul and Gary.

What a great start to my 70th Birthday celebrations on Friday. Afternoon tea with my husband at Christina’s was lovely. Good atmosphere, food and attention to detail. Also reasonably priced. Highly recommended. I’m sure we will return.😀

Fabulous return visit for another faultless mid day ‘afternoon tea’! We were fortunate to get a cancellation the day before for a last minute treat. It was beautiful perfect just as our previous visit a few months before. Thank you so much for your hospitality, quality of food and those little extras you surprise customers with. The back ground music was just perfect for my mums age group and we sang along just as though we were at home as we were so relaxed. Every detail is thought about carefully and nothing is too much trouble for our hosts. We took home our cakes as we couldn’t quite manage those and they were perfectly packaged to ‘take away’ for later. We gave already booked Mums Birthday Bash in July! Thank you both so much. An absolutely brilliant afternoon tea. Our hosts couldn't do enough for our party, the table was beautifully decorated and the location was perfect. It was also brilliant to have the place to ourselves on a Sunday for the baby shower that we had organised for our friend. The teas/coffees on offer were of a great standard and when the food arrived it was amazing. All carefully described and lots of little touches that really set it apart from a standard mass produced afternoon tea in some locations. The home baked cakes were superb! Top ups of tea and coffee were offered regularly and we all had some of the afternoon tea happily boxed up to take away with us. The service was really friendly without being overbearing or in your face which is a rarity these days. Definitely a place to recommend.

Went for the first time today and I honestly, genuinely can't fault this wonderful, magical, delightful tea room. Christina and Brian, the owners, could not have been more friendly or accommodating and the afternoon tea itself was fantastic...in fact far better than some I've had at super posh hotels at 3 times the price. I'm so happy I've found this treasure and can't wait to return.

Went to Christina's today for afternoon tea. This is the second time I've been recently and it is amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. Food is delicious, plentiful and attention to detail incredible. If you can't get through it Christina willingly puts in a little sealed patisserie box for you to enjoy at home. The decor is superb as well. Christina and Brian are incredible hosts. We also managed to a buy a few tempting gifts in their gift shop.

Just returned home after enjoying a delicious and plentiful afternoon tea in delightful surroundings. All home made and perfectly made. We even chose our own music to munch by! Attentive service and a reasonable price. Book in advance as made to order. One of the best afternoon tea venues in the area.

Wow, this place is amazing! Myself and some friends went for afternoon tea for my baby shower. A seriously beautifully decorated tea room, even that in itself made it so special. Fantastic service, attentive and speedy! And the afternoon tea was absolutely delicious, especially the cakes! I couldn’t rate it highly enough, and my friends and I plan to go back in the not too distant future!!

Oh my.....probably one of the best cream teas I've ever had! The cakes and scones are home made and are absolutely delicious. Attention to detail is spot on. My sister mentioned she liked ham but not mustard quietly to me and 5 seconds later a plate of ham sarnies arrived. No fuss we didn't ask for them but it was such a lovely gesture. The cake I was served for my birthday complete with candle was pretty much the best coffee cake I've eaten. This is a 5 star plus.....Will we be back.....just as soon as my waistband allows!! Absolutely faultless deserving of their 5 stars Thank you for making my birthday so special.

We have had many Afternoon Teas over the years, in various establishments including a very expensive five-star hotel. Most of them have been very good, with the exception of the five-star hotel, however Christina's Tearoom and Gift Shop in Henfield has well and truly beaten the lot! We cannot fault their Afternoon Tea in any way, it was superb. We were well looked after by Tina and Brian and served with a great selection of sandwiches, mini cheese scones, cheese straws, fruit and plain scones with lots of jam and cream, strawberries, a glass of elderflower and pomegranate fizz, cakes and chocolate brownies! and plenty of pots of tea! All served on bone China crockery. Wonderful experience and can certainly recommend Christina's.

We have just had an amazing tea at Christina's and it was incredible. Firstly the decor has been very tastefully done and is beautiful. We had booked a table for noon but arrived 15 minutes early and were greeted by Christina and Brian. We were given a refreshing glass of pomegranate and elderflower fizz which was very tasty. Our sandwiches were very good and were accompanied with cherry tomatoes, homemade mini cheese scones and cheese straws. The second tier had homemade scones, jam and clotted cream and fresh strawberries. Sadly just couldn't eat the 3rd tier which was 3 delicious looking cakes (carrot cake with cream cheese topping/biscotti and coffee/lemon drizzle. My friends ate the chocolate brownies and Christina kindly boxed the cakes and scones we didn't eat. Even those were boxed up nicely with a seal. As it was very warm and they couldn't put out the chocolates they normally do we were given a refreshing lime jelly. Attention to detail was second to none (timers on table for your tea so you could brew according to taste) and a big bottle of chilled water also on table. Tea was plentiful and were asked several times if we wanted more (my friend said how lovely the tea was (timed for medium strength). Really couldn't fault the place, food or hosts. All of us were saying we will be returning and introducing other friends as really worth it. Thank you.
