The best restaurants serving British food in Alton Westbrooke East Hampshire South East

Food was awful, service was friendly with plenty of banter. Pub was empty! Come to your own conclusions!

We stopped off as a family of four for some drinks and snacks. Despite not having a full meal, the staff was really welcoming and looked after us. In particular, we’d like to thank Sofia who was very patient with our children. We enjoyed the lovely beee garden in the October sun!

We visited today and will definitely be returning, took advantage of the Priceiswight deal and had 2 courses for 2 people 25.00 pounds.... Was the best Sunday Roast dinner we've had in a long time, plates were warmed, food excellent and service was very good, plenty of parking and noticed they have quite a few offers on during the week at lunchtimes. Lovely location too for a countryside walk before or after.

Had our Christmas do there and they were superb! Really looked after us, the food was amazing, lots of choices and everyone had great things to say, live music was a real treat and we had such a fab night we'd definitely consider coming back for another Christmas do. My husband and myself came for lunch on a Friday in August whilst on holiday in the local area. Large pub with gardens near a fairly busy road. Much quieter than expected and we had a good choice of seats in the garden in the sunshine. Was served drinks quickly at the bar by a helpful staff member. Given menus and ordered food. Food came out quickly and was very hot. I had a veggie burger & my husband fish & chips. Tasted great! Definitely no complaints from us. Would recommend.

i don’t know what happened but i was missing 2 dishes from my order, i called up to complain but it was very much “i don’t know what i can do about that” just feel like i’ve been ripped of £20 worth of food. check your order before you leave that’s all i can say reall…

Not worth it! Run down, unfriendly and many more places to explore in this lovely town. A blot on the landscape. Go elsewhere.
