Había salido caminando del centro de la ciudad solo queriendo un simple rollo de tocino, pero ningún café en el camino los hizo por lo que puedo decir. Me encontré con Joe y le pedí un panecillo de tocino y huevo y un capuchino. Precioso rollo, exactamente lo que quería y café caliente (no es la norma en otros lugares) Servicio muy amable. Disfruté tanto volvió al día siguiente y tenía una salchicha y muffin de huevo - 2 salchichas y muy lleno. La próxima vez que esté en Brighton probaré un desayuno completo.

Fuimos el lunes 13 TH esta semana y la cafetería cerró y está a la venta! ¡Es una pena! El café está en el parque East Brighton y es fácil de aparcar, y podrías haberte sentado afuera, ¡ay, no más! ¡Solo espero que alguien más lo compre! !

Nice pub in local area - it doesn’t get massively busy either. Staff are friendly and it’s dog friendly as well. It’s a bit off the tourist trail but Sunday lunch is pretty good.

Possibly the poorest quality cabaret I have ever seen, very short sets followed by the host rambling for hours in between. The vegan food was beyond dismal and not much short of inedible. Overcooked pasta in a tiny bowl feels discourteous. The service staff tried but I’m afraid they had little or no experience and appeared if they had just finished a day shift in Asda. Having run large scale events I can see that this is a money maker for someone without scruples. I’m also afraid the hidden charges feel disingenuous and the fact that they are hidden in the terms and conditions of the booking is deliberate. Hundreds of pounds and a birthday celebration marred by a very low quality experience. Might just work for a very drunk hen night where quality takes second fiddle to an overpriced cocktail and poor language. The website is very glossy and is no way reflective of the experience. Avoid.

I dont usually post reviews but on this occasion, i feel I have to warn anyone looking to visit the Bristol bar. My wife and I experienced an unfortunate situation of passive agressive behaviour from the owner on valentines day. We decided to stop by as we had some emails to answer and fancied a drink whilst doing so. We've been to the bar on various occasions at different points in the day (receiving good service from the young staff members) and had been informed on a previous visit (by the owner) that he prefers laptop use to be in a separate room of the bar (which is not a problem) It is important to note that it is a side room behind the kitchen that is not furnished to the standard of the main bar. I left my card behind the bar as I didn't know how long we were staying and if we would be having more drinks and possibly a snack. The head chef served me and we made polite conversation. We had our drinks, checked our emails which unfortunately took longer than anticipated. We were there for about 30 minutes when the owner came to check the room. He left without a smile or a hello. Another 30 minutes later he came back to ask if we were having any more drinks, to which I answered that we weren't sure (as we were thinking about leaving) He proceeded to tell us that we needed to buy something as we "couldn't sit there all day", "we're not an office you know" and "I'm spending more money heating this room than you're spending on drinks". His tone was quite rude. I went to the bar to retrieve my card and pay where, the owner was in pleasant conversation with a few customers whilst pouring their drinks. Once he finished, he asked me what i would like and I responded that I would like my card back so as to pay and leave. I said to him that "I was surprised how he came at my wife and I especially as we have been frequent customers (we even chose to have dinner for our anniversary there last year). Unfortunately, I didn't get to finish my sentence as he immediately started talking over me. When I said "excuse me, I'm talking" he became furious, raising his voice loud enough for other customers to notice. "how dare you!" "I will not be spoken to like that!" "How rude!" I was merely trying to finish my sentence. The head chef (as its an open kitchen) overheard and kindly tried to calm him down. The owner gave me the drinks on the house, but that was mainly due to being unable to tap my card to get me out of the building quickly. We were astonished at the rudeness, lack of manners and lack of tact he displayed. Especially as we were the only customers in the back room for the entirety of our visit. If we were taking up needed space, that might have explained his demeanor. But for two regular customers being no trouble whatsoever it makes no sense. I've read a previous review that accused him of racism. I'm reluctant to make the same judgement, but it does make it difficult when I have been treated differently from other customers every time that have seen or been served by him. The fact that we've returned is due to the service received from the staff. We've found them to be chatty, respectful and attentive. We understand that it's his business, and he can run it anyway he wishes. However, manners cost nothing. We have always been polite and respectful when visiting. When you read his response, I'd like you to notice how the owner will refuse to take responsibility for his behaviour (which included raising his voice aggressively at me in front of other patrons) and insinuate that my recollection is incorrect. It isn't. His next option will be to suggest that I only post negative reviews. As i mentioned at the start of this review, I don't usually post reviews at all. Next he'll type out a backhanded apology dripping in sarcasm. Save it. Start treating people how you yourself would like to be treated (especially when you know they are repeat customers).

Vinimos a tomar una copa el miércoles 4, pero terminamos quedándonos para el examen. Solo había un miembro del personal detrás de la barra (un joven con el pelo castaño corto) y estaba muy ocupado, pero él nos cuidó a pesar de todo y nos lo pasamos muy bien! La comida también olía y se veía fantástico 😋 Sin duda volveré

Habíamos estado esperando por bastante tiempo por la comida y notamos que otros recibían papas fritas de otros lugares, así que hicimos lo mismo. El personal no dijo nada así que comió y pidió algunas bebidas. Sin embargo, había una familia a nuestro lado que terminó siendo echada por un hombre vil que dijo que él era el gerente. Primero habíamos notado una camarera miserable que creo que tenía un problema con la familia. Primero pidiéndoles que movieran una bicicleta que no era un obstáculo para nadie. Me gustaría mencionar que había muchas bicicletas allí, ya que era un paseo en bicicleta de caridad, pero ella no le dijo a nadie más que moviera las suyas. Luego les dijo que no podían comer fuera de la casa, pero su tono era agresivo y no justificado. Especialmente cuando todos comíamos desde afuera. Vi a la señora en la mesa darle los platos una vez que lo supo. Escuché a la señora en la mesa preguntar si estaba contenta con su trabajo, ya que parecía estar molestando a ellos. Un rato después salió un hombre muy grosero y les dijo que se fueran. Trataron de explicar lo que había pasado y él no tenía nada de eso. Afirmó ser el gerente, pero su energía era horrible. Se notaba que estaba listo para pelear. La familia conversó al mismo tiempo que quería explicar y fue acusada de agresiva y le dijeron que llamarían a la policía. Estaba tan avergonzado por ellos. Una familia encantadora. El niño pequeño quedó reducido a lágrimas. No volveré nunca más. Muy mal servicio al cliente. Nunca he visto nada igual

No se moleste con el menú de Navidad - pavo reconstituido anunciado como recién tallado, NO. Patatas (enormes) zanahorias chirivías frías y fuertes. Salchicha rosada con tocino veteado graso colgando, debajo de la pila de repollo negro. Las coles de Bruselas son lo único comestible en el plato. Café Luke caliente. No como se anuncia en el menú. Sobreprecio.
