Brilliant evening, until the end. Was told by the Staff told to "To Drink up and get the f*** out,we want to go home.( although we still had 20 minutes before we had to leave. When challenged we were told we were being aggressive. And the Police were being called (The two people of colour)Such a shame a Brilliant day ruined by a racist staff, wanting to finish early on New Year's Eve. DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE

When you see the words -Turkey, Bacon and Guacamole Wrap, on a menu what would you expect to eat. Well I expected, some turkey, a bit of bacon and guacamole - on starting to eat it, the only visible meat was dark pink in colour. So we asked if they had done a ham wrap instead, the man behind the counter got a bit irate and said , well it would not be bacon as we are Halal - he showed me the joint and it was Turkey Bacon, which is chopped, formed, smoked turkey. Now on their menu they also do Chicken Caesar with bacon and Honey Mustard Chicken with Bacon. So I presume that is also turkey bacon. He could not understand my point that his menu reads as if it is bacon and more to the point if his meat is Halal then customers should be aware of that. Each to their own but I have never eaten Halal meat on principle as to how the animals are killed. Certainly will not be going their again.

This is our favourite Wetherspoons locally - the staff are friendly and helpful, the food is always tasty and arrives quickly with a smile. The atmosphere is good and the beer (guest ales) are usually EXCELLENT. However I have deducted 1 star from food because for some reason the White Hart has fewer items on the menu compared with other Wetherspoons.

We made a special trip to discover this pub and were very excited. En route we took our dogs for a walk and when we arrived, we were told that dogs were not allowed in. The pub is warm and cosy but we could not come in. We decided to find a table on the patio (it was cold and rainy) and sat in our coats ordering a quick snack rather than a long Sunday lunch that we were hoping for. We were unable to experience the atmosphere of the pub or any hospitality as no one came to speak to us, just came out to deliver the food. A real disappointment. It is very rare to find an unfriendly dog pub these days.
