The grounds are stunning. The manor house impressive. Staff fantastic. The Manor - restaurant was great service but VERY expensive. The mains are £28 - £32 each and does not include the potatos or veg. The mains are tiny portions. The potatos £6 for a side dish

Collected curry, so no issues with delivery. Food was hot and fresh ,but Pillou rice didn't taste authentic. Well cooked though. Would use again, but not local. Free orange drink with the order.

Great food and our waitress Sue was brilliant, so friendly and helpful. Was a pleasure to be waited on by her, would definitely return and hope she is our waitress again.

1st visit in a long time, loverly old pub. Had Sunday lunch menu. Had the beef roast which was presented well, some sides come at an extra cost. Good portions and very tasty. Tried the Tiramisu for pudding, was very nice but a little expensive for the portion size. Beer selection ok. Overall a very pleasant lunch.

Used to be much better, but now overpriced and mediocre food. Ordered their burger special at £11. Got a soggy beef burger in an untoasted bun. No sauce, no salad, no butter, nothing! They have a small kids play area with precisely 5 toys and a broken TV in it.... Nice idea, but cutting corners while increasing prices will lose you customers

Food is good but not the cheapest.Very expensive for garden centre cafe. But worst of all is the service. There is always a long slow que.As management do they not have the intelligence to address this problem which has been ongoing for at least 18months or more.It is so obvious to see that either the staff need sorting or the barrister or both.

Do yourself a favour - think twice before you eat there. I went with a friend. The chips tasted and looked like they had been cooked in oil earlier in the day and re-heated in a microwave so they were soggy and tasteless and not a lot of effort put into presentation on the whole the food was substandard. The furniture wasn't the best. The chairs needed re-padding and given a good clean. The female staff were polite and helpful. Probably the only positive thing about our visit to the café.

This is not merely pub grub - it is an excellent restaurant, serving superb food in generous quantities at very moderate prices. we had moules mariniere and sea bass, both were perfect.

Food intolerance now I can't buy from here but remember the egg and bacon roll. Well used . Staff look flustered but it must be hot inside the unit.

Oh dear! We got there at 2 pm for Sunday lunch. What a fiasco! (We have only had lite bites or cake before.) Asked for 3 meat Sunday lunch. Told there were only 2 meats. Said they would give us three slices regardless. We only got two. Then, the vegetables were added. Asked for parsnips, but told they "don't go with this meal." Asked for Yorkshire pudding, only two left. After an age of faffing, we got the food on our trays. Then went to hot drinks. It took 5 minutes to get served. There was only one person in front of us. Our dinners were going cold at this point. (They were not exactly sold steaming hot, though) Then over to till to pay, again waited 5 mins for till operator to come to the till. Finally sat down with food. Stone cold, not very nice, Yorkshire pudding was so tough you couldn't chew it. Needless to say, it was an awful experience for what should have been a nice lunch. Will not bother again.

It was just a bit rubbish, cheap ingredients, pack of Flora with the toast instead of butter, cheap sausages, advertised portobello mushrooms but just little chopped up ones, took half an hour to turn up and was luke warm. Such a shame is it could be great with a little bit of effort and they are clearly trying hard with the car community which is cool. Sadly just let down by poor ingredients / the chef
