The Bybrook Barn Harvester in Ashford

Took my family out for a lovely meal and a lovely meal it was i rung up last minute and lucky they could fit my family in food was beautiful and service was amazing.

We have not visited a harvester for a long time, we was just passing by and thought we would stop in for some dinner. I'm glad we did the server Sam was great very smiley and attentive. Food came out quick and hot with lots to choose from. We will definitely be back

My partner and I both ordered an item that on the menu included broccoli, but when the food arrived there was no broccoli and we were told that they did not have any. We were not pre-warned about this and no alternative was offered, and no price reduction was offered even though I asked for it The food was served on rectangular plates which were too small and we both found that our peas were regularly falling off the plate as a result. The peas were cold when served.

Coffee was only warm , meal was only warm, gone down hill, you either get your meal when you've just stared on your salad cart ,or it's only warm , not recommended

We booked here as one of the family wanted a trip down memory lane for a family birthday. Greeted warmly by everyone who served us, I must say. Brilliant! Doing a great job in difficult circumstances! Salad bar was halfly made up of empty container and the rest almost nearly gone. Bread gone, croutons and onions etc gone. Sauces at their dregs. Dinners were delivered with a smile by our lovely waitress, but the chicken slouvaki was cold and whilst they replaced this within 5 minutes of requesting, the food was just dried, rubbery, re-heated on the grill chicken. Not great. Won’t return, but great for a blast down memory lane of the good ol times! 😊

Whist in Ashford, we visited the Harvester here. It was very busy. We were attended to quickly and a decent table was found for us. The menu is vast, comprehensive and very appealing. Although there was absolutely no cask bitter, the cider was ok. My wife had a great Pimm’s. The food was unexpectedly good. Our server, Tash, was friendly and helpful. The entire experience was very good. Thank you.

The barmaid Bryony was absolutely amazing and easy on the eyes. Service, food and drinks were on par. The manager Cody could be a bit more polite towards staff and customers but all an all a great time.

We had great service from Molly. My family aren’t the easiest customers to serve - as the meals served weren’t hot enough and served on cold plates- but she handled this in an extremely polite matter and helped to rectify the situation multiple times, top quality customer service in a tough situation.

We came for a works meal as a team who work for the nhs…Elliot was our server, very attentive, even asked if I wanted anything else at all at the end of the meal which I found very nice. He was very nice and had a laugh with us which was great. Food was also nice, would return.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, it was very busy so we expected to wait but the food arrived in a timely manor and was very delicious, we had a wonderful time.

We havnt visited the harvester in a while due to a bad experience but we are so glad we gave it another chance, the service we received was brilliant, staff were so friendly and welcoming, food was nice and hot and the salad bar was much fresher than it use to be, we will definitely be returning

Usual Harvester menu and standard Harvester quality. The restaurant was very busy for a Wednesday evening, the place looked a bit untidy and needs a deep clean. The food was ok and as always with Harvester wherever in the UK you are you know what you're getting and you know the price too!

We are regulars visitors of the Bybrook Barn, but after recent events and staff not being able to accommodate developments of helping my disabled relative ammend our booking since using a wheelchair now since making the booking yesterday, we certainly won't be visiting again.

Not a pleasant time. Place itself needs refurbishing its tired and old. Particularly the toilets. Quite dirty and smelly. Floor was unclean, tables sticky and toilets broken. Food was ok. Lots of options on the menu, although not so much for vegetarians unless you like meat flavoured everything. But then again is more of a steak/burger house. Staff were lovely . Wouldn't recommend until its given an overhaul.

Where do I start! I hadn’t seen the family for a few weeks so decided to go out for breakfast. I ordered the vegetarian breakfast, my son ordered the standard breakfast. My breakfast arrived and at first sight it looked like it had been on the plate for a week! Firstly the poached eggs were missing so I had to ask for them. The sausages were the worst looking vegetarian sausages I’ve ever seen, one was broken in half because they were so dry, and as for trying to eat them it was like chewing cardboard, they were inedible. Beans were cold, hash browns were cold, tomatoes raw, toast half cooked. After 15 minutes I was presented with 2 greasy looking fried eggs and informed the cooks were unable to poach eggs, by now I had lost my appetite. Everything on my sons plate was cold with the bacon undercooked. On a plus note the waiter was very friendly and upon sharing our dissatisfaction with the manager we were refunded part of the bill. When leaving the restaurant I was extremely disappointed and still hungry, we had to go elsewhere for breakfast. I can honestly say upon the demise of the fresh fruit bar this restaurant has gone downhill, come on harvester you need to do better, we will certainly not be returning.

First time here. Lots of seating so plenty of room. Salad bar looked fresh and like it was replenished regularly. Tasty main meals all freshly cooked and sundae dessert was delicious. Friendly helpful waitress. Plenty of parking. Would recommend

Where do I begin! So it started at the door when waiting 7mins to be seated (book a table in advance) there was only 1 staff member at the door (which was on the phone to a customer) but with the manager lingering round I would of thought she would jump in to help! But waited until that staff member was off the phone, the manager was called nikki. Then when we was finally taken to our table nikki then proceeded to be very sharp with her words when explaining about the salad cart, and made my friend that has a eating disorder feel very uncomfortable, we ordered 10 mins after seating down and when we ordered the food came before our drinks which I feel is unacceptable. I feel the sections for 1 member of staff are too big as 10 tables for 1 staff member clearly does not work! Support from management is highly needed when it’s this busy! Being a manager myself I strongly agree cutting down hours for members of staff to save money doesn’t always mean that the customer have a pleasant experience to wine and dine. In a nut shell we will not be coming back! Poor management no support for this staff! I feel like this all need to be addressed, this is not how I expected my experience to be.

Wow! What can I say? Me and my boyfriend Jack loved it First off we were greeted by a lovely lady who showed us to our seats, there was a lovely view out the window. We were served by a lovely lady named Sedef, the food was very good and lovely and all the members of staff were lovely too. can’t wait to return with him, i am absoloutley certain he is looking forward to our next trip there (hopefully next week)

Went for a birthday meal on the 20th of June had a very warm greeting from Sam very courteous and very polite asked if there was any allergies as I’m gluten intolerant explained what alternatives there are this is the second time we have visited the harvester and had Sam I hope when we visit again we are lucky enough to have her again she went above and beyond to make our visit a very enjoyable one the management team should be very proud of her and deserves employee on the month for her outstanding customer service we look forward to seeing her again when we visit 5 stars to Sam what one lovely lady very cheerful and a bubbly personality
