The best restaurants serving British food in Victoria Ashford South East

An excellent Christmas lunch with friends - I'd heard good reports about the cafe at Ripleys Garden Centre and it didn't let us down. Delicious food, perfect portions, well priced and friendly, efficient staff. Happy to recommend and will certainly return.

Had a busy day so stopped off for breakfast at the church view tea rooms ashford, although it was fairly busy we were made to feel welcome by the staff. The breakfast was piping hot and all cooked to order. A big thank you to the staff members for making us so welcome. Thank you

Excellent little cafe/restaurant and tea room in the heart of Hamstreet. Excellent service and excellent good quality food in such pleasant surroundings. Trevor has been an invaluable addition to the already lovely team. Well done Sadie, Danielle and Trevor for making our visit enjoyable. A must visit for anyone who likes a great experience in both food and company.

Enjoyed a two-course lunch today with a large group of friends. The food was well-cooked and well-presented. The staff worked hard to ensure that the meals were served quickly. We were made to feel very welcome.

Delivery time just kept getting moved back and took an hour and 15 mins to arrive in the end

We were staying at the hotel.. and decided to give the restaurant a go..

Pretty poor - turned up about half 7 ordered a pint each sat at a table and started looking at the food menu. We were quite briskly told by a staff member that we could not order food. There were a few tables turned up after us who started ordering food. We won't be returning, quite poor to be honest - if you don't serve food you need to be clear on the website who you do and don't serve food to!

Collected curry, so no issues with delivery. Food was hot and fresh ,but Pillou rice didn't taste authentic. Well cooked though. Would use again, but not local. Free orange drink with the order.

Do yourself a favour - think twice before you eat there. I went with a friend. The chips tasted and looked like they had been cooked in oil earlier in the day and re-heated in a microwave so they were soggy and tasteless and not a lot of effort put into presentation on the whole the food was substandard. The furniture wasn't the best. The chairs needed re-padding and given a good clean. The female staff were polite and helpful. Probably the only positive thing about our visit to the café.
