Popped in here for the first time in a few years and it is now run by two lovely ladies . Reduced menu at the min due to cooker / fryer problems but still a nice choice . Hubby had beans on toast and i had a gammon ham sandwich . Nice hot beans and 3 rounds of toast for him and my sandwich had really thick gammon ,nice thick fresh bread and bread actually buttered !!! And really good value These ladies have just taken over and we will be back . Wish them well for the future

There are less and less of the old school greasy spoons. The SAS Rogue Heroes 2 recce crew think it is the dogs ......

An awesome place to visit, whether with or without tour dog. This is the friendliest coffee shop for dogs ever, there are treated with the utmost respect, a bed a bowl of water and treats before you order for yourself. Open 6 days a week and the Coffee and food is all to die for

What a lovely bar in the heart of Windsor. It's upstairs through a small blue door beside the bus stop. There is a lovely welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. They also have live music some nights, and you're greeted by a friendly bouncer and red carpet as you enter. Great for a night out with friends or family. Would highly recommend.

Food was delicious and was prepared fast. Best chips I’ve had in years. Service was brilliant - really lovely couple of chaps who were very helpful! Will be back

Wow what can I say- such a wonderful weekend. A real treat to be able to spend the weekend in such a beautiful part of the world with a fantastic host. Amazing food- particularly the porridge at breakfast and they even stock lactose free milk! The apples from the tree in the garden were delicious. The host Kathryn made me feel right at home, providing me with slippers and a hot water bottle. What more could you want?! I thoroughly enjoyed the walks nearby and the amazing train links from the local station really do make life easier. I can’t wait to stay again. It’s the gateway to the Cotswolds!

Popped in to use the loo but it looked so clean and bright I wanted to stay! Staff were really nice and helpful. Pleasant environment and very clean, ladies were just opening up and place was visited within the first ten minutes but still plenty of space. At a glance I could see they sold panini and ice creams, and was way traditional tea room.

If you want to enjoy fine dining without the faff then Chart Farm Kitchen is the place. Located at Chart Farm, Dom and the guys are putting together, clever, well conceived and challenging menu. Cooked mainly using traditional charcoal and smoking technique, you are in a for a treat. A seven course menu at a fixed price (April 22 £75/pp) that will challenge your palate and your imagination, The menu changes every month so you never get tired of the same old thing. You are seated at the same time as other diners and served at the same time, so please be ready to be seated no later than 7:30pm on Friday evening. Don't expect the posh linen and the fine silver, this is not what you are coming to Chart Farm Kitchen. You are coming to try something different, enticing and will make you beg for more. The wine list is carefully chosen to match the meal to perfection. If you are a steak lover than I recommend wholeheartedly Steak Night on the Wednesday. Being located at a farm you will not disappointed with the quality of the meat, the fries and the lovely seasonal vegetables. Really I should not give this glowing review for fear that it might take me ages to book a table again, but really this place should go for a Michelin rating. Parking is ample on site. Book early to avoid disappointment the waiting list is long.

Came here after a session at FarmEd and was not disappointed - all food is using the locally sourced produce from the regenerative agriculture scheme here and changes very regularly. I got the soup of the day which was served with hearty poppy sourdough bread and shared a ploughman's platter, which featured a range of unique cheeses and pickles. Their dessert selection is also great. My partner really enjoys their honey cakes. It can be a little difficult to find, but this place is a real gem to visit and always busy with guests and tours when I have gone.
