The best restaurants serving British food in Lymm Warrington North West

Passing through on our canal boat and stopped for breakfast. My husband needs gluten free and they were able to create a breakfast for him. Great food and good coffee

Had a lovely time today in the golden fleece the ambience was lovely ideal place to go with friends or take that special someone, the staff were lovely and there was one lady with glasses think her name was Adele she was amazing she was very friendly and warm, I think I may ask for her number next time I go see if she is single.

Would be 1 star but got a refund we had been on along car journey home and called at the crown for a late lunch we waited ages for the food we had steak paninis which we have had loads of times and always come cooked thru no blood today they were blue my sweet potato fry’s were stone cold we took the meat off and took home for the dog 2 girls and chef sat at a table never asked was everything ok went to bar told the girl who had no intreast just smiled and asked for payment as we walked past the other girl I asked who the manager was she said James and asked why told her and she gave a refund if there going to do steak so pink they need to ask how we want it a good vet could of brought it back to life

A welcoming cafe with breakfast, lunch and brunch. Varied menu with excellent home made cakes. Linked to the church with a bookshop.

Very friendly staff; Food was good quality; nice atmosphere. Didn't really try the drinks but assume they'd be OK. It was a busy Sunday afternoon and we did have a couple of issues with our order not being correct - meals were replaced quickly with no fuss which was fine in the end.

Great food &drinks &lovely atmosphere, the staff made you feel very welcome ,we will definitely be returning as we had a great dining experience thankyou 😀

We’ve always loved going to the Green Dragon but last nights experience was spoilt by the attitude of some of the serving staff. Always had lovely smiley staff previously but not so last night. One young woman was positively unwelcoming and not very friendly. Would always give GD 5 stars before but this spoilt our experience last night.

We came here for lunch and have been a few times. This time we booked a pod, with a heater, this experience all the more pleasurable. Every time we come here Calum a member of staff here has always been like today polite considerate and always has a smile on his face. Thanks to him and the great lunch it's another great time here. Totally thrilled with our well presented, perfectly cooked delicious meal. Thank you Connor as this was the best pub meal we have had in a long time. Cheerful staff and beautifully decorated pub. Highly recommend.

I have stayed here 3 times in the last 2 months ! Menu basic , always with fries , slightly over priced . This place could and would be a great place to eat if the menu improves.. Staff are ok some friendly and some not so friendly. It has always been clean(no issues there ) ! Who ever is the proprietor is (YOU NEED TO PULL YOUR FINGER OUT AND GET WITH YOUR CLIENTS REQUIREMENTS) Thank you Ps There is a McDonald’s and Greggs , however if you want something decent,this truck stop is truly lacking 😔
