I really liked this cafe. This is not your run of the mill greasy spoon cafe. This is a well run Artisan cafe. I had he made soup and bread and my husband had lamb casserole also with bread. An extra point for giving us butter with the bread as well. The food was extra tasty. The coffees we had were excellent and they came in big cups which is fantastic and they stayed hot. The atmosphere was great. No really loud awful Galaxy or radio 1. Just a nice easy to listen to Channel. The staff couldn't do enough for us. There is also a fancy little bakery shop. Apparently the bakers is underneath the cafe. Well worth the visit and we will be back.

We took our dog a walk in Lymm Village and called in for a meal. We had booked earlier for a dog friendly table. The pub was busy and our table was a bit cramped, so we moved to a table with more space. Our food order was quickly taken and delivered to us piping hot and within a short wait. The meal was delicious, as usual, and we were delighted again.

A great pub. My car had broken down and I waited in the pub (for about 8 - 9 hours) whilst I waited for road side assistance. I stayed warm by the fire. The staff were so kind and friendly- checking in on progress and making sure I was ok. They let me use their phone charger. The food was delicious - I had the scallops, fries, the salmon fish cakes and the brownie. I definitely will return as my head office is close by. Couldn't have broken down in a better location. -6 outside but so lovely and warm inside.

We had lunch at the Spread Eagle and although it was busy, both the food and service were excellent. Our waitress, Becca, was superb. Despite the busy situation she maintained a pleasant manner and high level of engagement providing us with updates on our order. Becca is an absolute credit to the business.

I have stayed here 3 times in the last 2 months ! Menu basic , always with fries , slightly over priced . This place could and would be a great place to eat if the menu improves.. Staff are ok some friendly and some not so friendly. It has always been clean(no issues there ) ! Who ever is the proprietor is (YOU NEED TO PULL YOUR FINGER OUT AND GET WITH YOUR CLIENTS REQUIREMENTS) Thank you Ps There is a McDonaldâs and Greggs , however if you want something decent, this truck stop is truly lacking đ
