Called in for a full English breakfast with a cappuccino on Saturday morning. Definitely the best full English we’ve had in a long time, all tasty ingredients and cooked perfectly!!… definitely recommend and will definitely be back! Thanks for the nice experience!

Had a great buffet on our networking meeting, 25 guests and the food was tasty, especially the cauliflower wings. Thankyou for being always accommodating.

Took daughter and son in law out for lunch whilst they were visiting. Tapas was great. Sadly run out of prawns but the remaining dishes were great. Whipped feta v tasty with little crackers to spread it on. Chorizo in honey was amazing. Explosion of flavour. The plat of cold meats had lots of flavour. Good pickles and peppers on there. Some strongish blue cheese. Chicken wings were good possibly a bit cold. And of course patatas bravas. Lovely meal. Friendly team. Went for crepes for desert in the Xmas market after !

Waited over 40 mins for food, we ordered two roast beef dinners with extra potatoes. Firstly they brought the extra potatoes out first which where cold, few mins later the dinner arrived, the beef was very tough couldn’t cut it and the rest was cold , only thing hot was the extra pot of gravy. Staff seemed new as they didn’t really know what to do, apart from being told by some guy walking round on a laptop telling them what needed doing. When I complained I was either offered to have the meals recooked ( didn’t want to wait another 45 mins or a free dessert ( didn’t fancy a dessert after not eating my main. Still ended up paying for some thing I didn’t eat , very expensive for awful food , will not be returning !!

After visiting The Raven Inn for the first time today, I can hand on heart say that it is one of the cosiest pubs with lovely bar staff and some of the best pub grub about! Attentive staff, quick service and really reasonably priced too! We’ll definitely be coming back, thank you for your great hospitality! 😁 (Don’t listen to the bad reviewers they clearly have no taste!) x

Visited on a Sunday at 1pm - it was quiet and the staff were very welcoming. We were shown straight to a table and ordered promptly. It’s lovely to see a pub serve a smaller sized roast as I personally don’t have a large appetite. Food was lovely, service was great and my little boy loved the seasonal decorations - especially the skeletons

Very disappointed with my sandwich today , my wife and our friend was ok with what they had but even they thought not worth the money , tried it will not go again is their response , I asked before ordering if their vegetarian sausages were gluten free , "they should be" the waitress replied , but should be is not enough I said that I need to know ,she went into the kitchen to check and on return said they don't know as they have been opened , so I ordered a tuna and mayo sandwich , cost just under £6 but I had to pay an extra £1.50 because I wanted gluten free , so almost £7.50, when the sandwich came it was 2 small slices of gluten free bread with maybe a teaspoon full of tuna and cut on the diagonal, also a very small amount of salad, i would have expected maybe a double sandwich, coleslaw, maybe some crisps, especially for the cost of £7.50, I feel that perhaps they make a killing on new customers but very little on return customers because we would not go back , if you want value for your hard earned money I would suggest you find somewhere else , , I just wished we had checked the reviews , oh I just remembered they did put a few miniature crackers on the plate , pretty useless as I am gluten intolerant. The waitress was very nice so we tipped her but certainly not for my sandwich.
