The best restaurants serving British food in Manchester North West

We visited on a Saturday evening after a day out in Manchester. The food was great. We had fish and chips, lasagne and a burger. All were delicious, well priced, with good portions size. Staff were friendly and there was a pleasant atmosphere.

This place has a lot of history given it is right besides the 500 year old Wellington bar and Sinclairs that’s famous for waitress Molly who throws cold water if you stay behind too long at the bar. They have good refreshing beer and plenty of screens inside to catch a game if you’re interested, Service was friendly for a place that is so busy and central.

WOW! The guy calls himself a ‘landlord’! How polite we addressed the subject of being served raw chips and off prawns, yet he was IMMEDIATELY on the defence. His reaction was totally uncalled for and laughed at each response to his questions. So very unprofessional and then decided it was ok to come from behind the bar to confront us with his finger in our face just because we had what was initially a trivial complaint. Speechless! Appalling food - nothing has changed since a few years back there! And unprofessional cooks, supervisor & manager. Will NOT be returning! The place is in dior need of a higher level staff revamp, and we’re not the first to have said that!

This cafe is in the Manchester Art Gallery. It has a nice large interior space with quite a lot of seating. It was quiet and peaceful on the day we visited. We enjoyed two flat whites which cost £6.60 and a piece of cake that was £3.50. The coffee was good but the cake was too sweet for our taste.

Me encontré con mi primo en la estación de Piccadilly durante un par de horas para ponerme al día. Ninguno de nosotros conoce el área, así que deambulamos por Piccadilly buscando un lugar para comer y tomar un par de copas. ¡Encontramos el BLounge y pasamos un par de horas encantadoras aquí y tuvimos el risotto más maravilloso! !

Nos quedamos la noche antes de volar a Florida, una excelente manera de asegurarnos de estar temprano en el aeropuerto Relajante estancia de una noche excelente cena servida por Natalie y abundante desayuno bien preparado por la mañana.

Had a meal booked at 3pm on Saturday turned up all shut in darkness. A bloke turned up who happened be a chef for these ppl asked at 10am too do a shift he waited for over an hour outside with myself my partner and other waiting customers. He could get hold of the owners let allow management until a call came around 4:30pm saying no one turning up too open!! Too add there was an 11gallon barrel of beer and a big box of vacuum packed meat defrosting outside the place!! Think this place has died it’s death!!

Servicio amable y buenas bebidas. Desafortunadamente, éramos las únicas personas allí y no había atmósfera. Buena selección de bebidas bien presentadas.

Este café con una segunda semiplanta se encuentra en la calle peatonal Market Street, junto a numerosas tiendas y bancos. Está bien para descansar y tomar un café si estás en la zona.

La actitud del personal es simplemente desagradable. Parece que solo hacen lo que sienten, claramente piensan que son mejores de lo que realmente son.

Met a friend for breakfast here, had a lovely time. It was very busy and I could see why, the food was great, quick and friendly service. Looking forward to going back.

Great pub in the heart of Manchester.

The Arndale Costa inside the shopping centre, not the one inside the shop. It was not busy but so dirty, staff are sleeping, a lot of plats and cup on the table but no customers. It is not customers job to clean the table

This is a fantastic pub best and cheapest price for guniness 4.40 The landlord vic is a top lad

It's a difficult place to talk about food... Worst food of my trip to England... Where all the food was left...
