Had a single pint on st Patrick’s day wearing my ireland top. Immediately had a waiter with a moustache and an accent tell me I’m cut off, when I tried to explain I’m just over an illness he ran away, awful service, ruined St Patrick’s day. Profiling at its finest

One guy with ear rings serving on table 4 on Thursday night doesn’t have any manners, he even don’t know how to serve a drink to a table and before taking the plates need to ask permission. His attitude is like, “this is my place and am the king here, customers are nothing in front of him” like that. When i spoke to the manager, she checked cctc and saying u guys didn’t stop from taking the plates. Is this is the way actual way to work in a restaurant?

Always one of the busiest bars, found a seat and ordered, as always the drinks and food arrived quickly and staff working to clear tables and keep tidy

The usual Wetherspoons experience, so you know what to expect if you're looking for a wide selection of drinks and certain level of food quality. The interior is also very nice, so worth a visit if you're in the area.

Popped in for a couple of pints, make sure you get plastic pints pots for out side

A great place to try regional drinks, especially beers! Great atmosphere, lots of people. This is the perfect place to feel the atmosphere of English pubs! Beer for £3.6 on tap! I highly recommend it! Open late at night!

We randomly entered here and it was worth it. The order was easy with the online service and they were really fast with our meals. The inside was a little crowded tho but it was expected.

It's a spoons, not much else to say. Amazing value for decent but unexceptional food. We had 6 meals and drinks for an average of just over £10 per person. It was decent food and included a steak meal and a mixed grill. Shame they had run out of almost all the chicken choices but great value

Very quick service for such a busy pub

It’s just a spoons, with spoons clientele. But it’s decent and the prices are cheap. Would recommend in general. £3 for a pint of stowford press

A classic Wetherspoons pub, it was very busy when we arrived but we still managed to get a seat. Service was super efficient and there was a great atmosphere with the live sports showing.

Such a busy place but fast service and incredible value for a quick lunch whilst in town.

Dirty tables, asked to be cleaned,no one came. Nice drinks, great prices, shame about the clientele! Had to watch a woman straddling a man, snogging his face off. Talk about get a run room!

Fish and chips were fantastic, service was really quick and brew dog at that price what more do you need 👍👍

Probably the weirdest amalgamation of people I've ever seen drinking in one bar. It was such a shame that we only went to spoons once because it really was fun. Great atmosphere and cheap drinks, really can't beat it.

VERY good place! The food is tasty, high-quality and super cheap. You can choose a drink with each dish for a very low price. We were here first for dinner (we ate classic fish & chips), which was very good, and we came back the next day for breakfast. The pub is quite noisy and chaotic, but despite this it is very atmospheric and pleasant.

First time in my life I just asked about my drink, because I didn’t taste vodka in my drink. And then, I asked to speak with the manager (man in glasses), who was so rude. I just asked him nicely and politely about the drink. He was standing next to me with hands in the pocket, which was rude. My colleague bought the drink. I went to the bar to order more drink. They said they won’t serve, even thought I’m not drunk. I said I wasn’t rude, I’m type 1 diabetic. They said I should go somewhere else. It’s really not nice. The drinks tasted of water. In future, please be nice to customers who speak to you nicely. First time and last time I’ll come here. The manager didn’t speak nicely and put his voice up. I really explained and showed my blood sugar. There was no respect. Thank you and enjoy your night.

Great atmosphere, we had a table on the balcony and could see everything going on . The staff worked really hard serving food and clearing tables. Food was excellent , all served from the app 😃

I tend to go to The Waterhouse or The Moon Under the Wster when in Manchester. I have been to this Spoons a few times. Flic was with me this visit and took the real cider. I had a £1.99 pint of a Brightside brewery Christmas special being sold off cheap. Very pleasant. Typical Spoons in a converted thestre over two floors. Lovely staff. Seven real ales and one real cider.

Part of a group of pubs, located in several locations in England, they have a varied menu and for each dish there is either a beer or a soft drink included in the price. I found the food good taking into account that it is a sort of fast-food restaurant but the dishes are tasty and the meat is tender. The beers with daily offers needless to say are delicious and for all tastes

I do miss the paramount (pub) for the breakfast because of my coursework early [Monday] morning to adult learning centre.

It's a great venue but it's ready for a refurb as its getting tatty now.

Wetherspoons used to do really good burgers, that saddo thing is embarrassing & comparable to other poor quality food chains😔😔

Popped in at 10am and it was already busy, tho not too noisy. There are big, medium and small breakfast option. I had the medium and it was tasty and enough. The Brucey bonus was the £1.50 free refill coffee. I expected filter coffee but it was a machine offering flat whites etc. A very good value place and friendly staff

It's a whetherspoons what more do you want to know? Beer is always cheap. Staff are always super efficient. Table service is a win. It's just so busy and takes a while to find a table or a seat.

A brilliant start to really great night. The food was good and the service quick and friendly. The place was full of people getting into the Christmas spirit.

Massive spoons, always have breakfast here on our Manchester stay overs, never had a bad one yet. Service is bang on for the size of the place. Beer is good, food is as good as wetherspoon gets and service it top notch. What's not to like!!

Great location reliably exactly what they say saved our Xmas gathering yesterday when 8 of us couldn't find a bar in the gay village because of a water leak

Staff were friendly and polite, they provided fast efficient service. I had a couple of pints of life blond which was top notch.

Dropped in for a quick lunchtime pint. As with all JDs, I've visited it had a good range of well-kept bitters at a great price. Served quickly and with a smile. And despite the place being busy, I found a seat. Pleasant surroundings. Clean loos, centre of town what more can you ask for?

Shocking service and bad attitude from bar staff. Put order in waited 25 minutes, one of the staff noticed we had waited a long time, he went to a member of bar staff to ask about are drinks and he was told that we had to wait, then we noticed another member of bar staff go to a bin and pulled a handful of receipts out of the bin and are's was one that had bin put in the bin. We ordered a second round of drinks when it went quite and had to wait another 25 minutes, we felt as though we were being punished because a member of the staff had enquired about are first round of drinks. We brought it to the attention of the lady manager about what had happened. In all the weatherspoons we have bin in over the past 2 day's in Manchester it was the worst and poorly run bar.

Good spot for a cheep drink, staff were friendly with good service even though it was busy! Food was nice too, horrid pint of guiness but thats my fault for ordering one in a spoons 🤣

Nice and handy to go for evening meal.In Oxford st in Manchester .we had the Chicken Katsu which was very tasty aswell as the convenience of the train station down the street !

Good end of the night bar, next door to our hotel, good atmosphere, didn't eat here but the atmosphere was good. Would recommend anyone staying in the Premier Inn popping in for that "One for the road" drink, staff decent and eager to serve.

Nice pub, well located. I like this chain, but too many ordering errors with the application (volume of cognac, beer instead of cider). Not my best experience for a weatherspoon.

Had dinner sat outside, asked the bar for some water and I was given a glass and filled it up myself. Went to take the glass outside (not realising glass could not be taken outside), the bouncer pushed me with his hand and shouted 'no glass!'. The rule is fair but no reason to push and talk to me in that way, so disrespectful

Fabulous 'spoons but incredibly busy. Food and drink is everything you would expect at a 'spoons. Because it is so busy there were a lot of tables with glasses on them that needed clearing.

Freezing. So cold. Ridiculously cold. Air con on all the time. So absolutely freezing. 11 degrees outside so better to sit there than inside.

my friend summer bliss recently spent her birthday in spoons she had 2 cocktails and a brownie she said it was the best night of her life and she went home feeling so happy

It's just too busy! Extremely busy ! It was week days and we couldn't find a seat inside. It's a bit too much for my taste.

Busy busy busy, but ordering using the app was easy and our food and drinks arrived promptly. Not glam but great value.

Went for a morning breakfast with my brother we had two full English breakfast one with a unlimited coffee and one tap water. The food was hot but one of the bacon with a bit underdone for my liking but all the other food was good. We then stayed to meet some friends and had some drinks and a good catch up. Good times all round.

Met up with friends for a first time visit. Well placed just off Peter Square. Beer was good (lovely stout at £2.60 a pint) and all staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.

It's a wetherspoons, in the centre of the city. A good location, a good meeting place then to explore rest rest of Manchester city centre. Great section of beers & spirits.

Pizza and wings were great and the beers were cold. The entire place was a great experience.

Many choices on types of food. You'll generally find something that will satisfy whatever mood you are in. Cost is very fair. Speed of service is better than expected.

Honestly disgusted and this place should not be open. The amount of flies was insane. I feel sick that I ate and drank here I only noticed when they started flying around my plate. No exaggeration there were hundreds like something was deceased in the building. Never ever coming back here again

Came today for lunch with 8 friends and we all ordered lunch and drinks .It wasn’t until I started to eat that I realised there was loads and loads of flies on the lights ,ceiling, mirrors , it was absolutely disgusting.I later rang the bar and asked to speak to a Manager ,the lady I spoke to was aware of the flies !!! I was amazed that they was still serving food , it had certainly put me off ever visiting again ,all my friends also commented on the number of flies they were literally everywhere towards the back of the pub , this can not be hygienic.

I took colleagues here and they enjoyed it. It’s impossible to get a table inside after 5pm but there were still outdoor tables. Security do their best to stop people vaping by the tables but it’s a hard task. Drinks delivery from mobile app ordering was always super quick and friendly. The toilets were ok, maybe their cleanliness is related to how large a venue this is.

Was in here today. Ordered, medium & large mixed grill. Sorry to say, the meat was pork, lamb & steak all tasted the same & was hard & chewy. Paid £32 & left half of it. Won't be buying again. The food going downhill in all weatherspoons 😡

Good range of cheap beers. Crowded due to the price of beers. Not the place to be if you want service.

Great breakfast and quick service.

We spent 40 minutes waiting for our food to be delivered to the table. It turned out that the food had been prepared, placed in the area to be sent out to our table, but the ticket was cleared, so our food was sitting for over 30 minutes to be sent out to us with not a single member of staff realising that it was waiting. Very poor service on the part of Wetherspoons.
