The best restaurants serving British food in North West

Gracias a una mención en Saturday Kitchen Live decidimos salir del camino para probar el pastel. El pub está en una inclinación que era una novedad y estaba increíblemente ocupado cuando llegamos. Tristemente esto significaba que teníamos que sentarnos atrás, que era un ambiente muy diferente y nos sentíamos como si estuviéramos sentados en el área del personal con la cocina. Definitivamente podría hacer con ser hecho para hacerlo más "pub - como". No puede faltar el personal, excelente servicio y muy amable. El pastel vino con salsa y guisantes mushy opcionales. Los guisantes tenían un fuerte sabor a menta pero estaban deliciosos. El pastel era excelente, aunque algo caro. Una gran selección de cervezas y cervezas que se ofrecen, sin duda volvería para una sesión de degustación la próxima vez que esté en Manchester. Está un poco alejado del centro pero merece la pena visitarlo.

The food and drink was super salty when I ordered the sauce tasted off and it was stone cold

Not a gastropub as listed, expect standard pub atmosphere, food & service and you won’t be disappointed. Had to return my curry due to the rice being hard as nails, replacement dish came quickly, but no apologies. Lots of microwave pings coming from the kitchen. Lovely location but left feeling very underwhelmed.

Had a great time last night, came for a few drinks in the bar and decided to stay for food. The waiter was great, Dan really looked after us. Food was delicious and service seemed quick! Would go back for the Venison alone!

Waited over an hour for our main meals when we asked howlong our meals would be the food came out 5 mins later cold and felt like it was rushed 😔 absolutely disappointing

A fab little pub in the centre of Keswick! Super dog friendly which we love and the atmosphere and food are always super!! Great selection of beers too. Always a favourite to visit when in the area.

We found this pub by accident and what an amazing find it was. There's plenty of parking space and the pub itself was spotlessly clean. The food was delicious and reasonably priced and the staff were so friendly and accommodating, we can't wait to return.

Security doesn’t enter me because I don’t have working permit🤣. And I just want to enter as a customer , what a perfect pub🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Best Fish and Chips in Blackpool! ★★★★★ Had an amazing experience at this fish and chip shop! The fish was perfectly crispy, the chips were fresh and fluffy, and the portions were generous. What really stood out was the incredible customer service—after accidentally dropping way too much salt on my chips, they kindly served me another large portion of fish and chips with peas and curry, no questions asked. Such a thoughtful gesture! Definitely the best fish and chips in Blackpool, and I’ll be coming back for more. Highly recommend!

Called in for Lunch on Thursday with the other half, both had fish and chips which was perfectly cooked. Chris and Caroline were both attentive and friendly.We will be back

Friendly security, great friendly bar staff, good draught beer, nice friendly atmosphere, been here many times and would highly recommend.

We've been to this establishment many times and usually we have a lovely lady serve us,but today we had a gentleman possibly the mananger. On arrival we gavebour order and mentioned that we had a discount which we was told this no longer availible on breakfasts has we tried to speak and put to him our side he just talked over us. I asked for veg sausages,he said I will leave them at the counter(how on earth would we know if they where ready) we got our breakfast,went to make some toast we had to put ut through 5 times has it was just warm bread,then a piece got stuck so a lady came over and sortrd it for us. The guy who served us came and said actually brought over our veg sausages......OMG i've never seen anything like it,they was burnt,really crispy and taseless,if this was the manager then why would he let the kitchen serve such food,it was totalky unedible. Come on Lymewood.

Absolutely fantastic place and the staff were very friendly. The food was delicious and the desserts are to die for yummmmm

Lovely little place for a drink or food. We came on a Sunday and the place was really chilled (cosy) so no surprises. The decoration is really cool, high ceiling and antlers with large paintings and wingback chairs. Very cool vibe will be coming backb again.
