Allerton Hall in Liverpool

We fined at the Allerton Hall a few days ago, and from start to finish the experience was great. We rang ahead beforehand to discuss our group needing a wheelchair access, and one of the group being severely allergic to gluten - and the manager I spoke to on the phone was very helpful with addressing both of these issues. Upon arrival, we were helped in by a member of the team, and shown through to an accessible table. We opted to order from the main menu due to allergy concerns. We were initially served by Luke for drinks, but who then passed over to Mark as manager to take the order with someone who had a bit more knowledge of the allergy procedures - and whilst placing the order the chef on duty Chris happened to come by and also helped put our mind at ease about the policies/procedures that were in place to make things safe. It's great to see the allergy taken seriously, and everyone involved couldn't have been more helpful and understanding at every stage. The food itself was very nice as well, with our group going for a good mix of different types of dishes, but everyone being very satisfied at the end. All in all, a great experience. Our thanks go out to everyone involved in making our night.

Came today for a carvery while collecting my carvery what looked like the manger stormed into the kitchen an shouted oi nobhead while kids where walking around, the young girl behind the food counter let him know he was very loud in what he said for him to reply good. Disgusting way to be around custom let a lot how to speak to staff. Then while eating are food a member of staff came over and asked was we nearly finished was only there 20 minutes at this point, while paying for a meal you don’t want a member of staff coming over and rushing you on.

Food was lovely hot n fresh, lovely friendly staff and reasonable prices. Went for my birthday and got a gorgeous big Chocolate Eclair brought over with a sing song off Louise .. Highly recommend

Greeted at the door and directed to the breakfast room. We were first in and the breakfast bar had a huge selection of hot, fresh food. Tea and coffee were available and bread ready for toasting. Everything was delicious and all staff were really helpful (veggie sausages cooked to order as they spoil on the pass otherwise) and friendly. Great breakfast, great service and really good value.

Yet again, another amazing meal with exception service from Barry and the team! Even our friends agree. Excellent place yet to bring your family!

I wish I could give a zero for the food service & atmosphere. Me and a few friends recently went here for the breakfast and we all agreed it was disgusting the service was not friendly whatsoever the place had a terrible smell to it and the food was awful and I mean awful please do NOT go here whatever you do

Woweeee!!! Visiting from London and brought here by my friend for a slap up roast on a Tuesday afternoon. The portions are so generous (thank you Karl for your kindness and friendliness) and absolutely delicious! What incredible value too - just amazing… Thank you Brian for looking after us so well…super informative and friendly. And Louise - thank you for the ice-cream (I’ll be back for more!!). Jojo and Marco collected plates and cleaned down our table with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble for this lovely lot. Just loved it here and wish I lived closer so I could come more often! I promise I’ll be back xxxx

We thoroughly enjoyed all that was on offer at tge carvery. Everything was cooked with care and delicious. Good value for money. I ordered the sirloin and although slight chewy it was cooked to perfection. Good seasoning and flavoursome. The place lucks ambiance. The waiting staff are very friendly. A special mention to Ella and Jojo.

Jojo was our server today. She was brilliant professional and attentive and made the time to play with my little boy. Couldn’t have been anymore helpful. Food was lovely and the men serving the food were great also. All staff so friendly!

I have been to Allerton Hall Farm many times. Each time I have been with my family we have had really lovely meals. The meals are well presented and have ample portions. The food is cooked to a good standard and I have never had a meal that I did not enjoy . The staff are very polite and helpful and the meals are reasonably priced to suit everyone. I have posted meals on Google maps and have numerous views on my meal.

My partner and I eat here usually twice a month. We always have the carvery which is the best I have ever been to. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The overall equality of service and food is excellent

Had a lovely afternoon with a friend who is a wheelchair user. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming. The food was enjoyable and served promptly with a smile. One server in particular (JoJo) was really exceptional. Been going to Allerton Hall since it first opened back in the 90’s. Keep up the good work. Will be back soon.

We went to breakfast with santa and it was fab as always. The breakfast items were all fully stocked on a regular basis. Sarah and the other staff were always visible and helped with any queries.

We visited as a family of 13 on Saturday 28th of December. Everything went extremely well thanks to Brian looked after us. He worked very hard and nothing was too much trouble. We made a few requests which were all honoured without any hesitation and it made the day go really well seeing family over Christmas. Would definitely recommend and be returning. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely time.

Great place, great food, friendly staff and plenty of parking. I had the mixed grill and it was great, others had the carvery and said it was really nice.

Enjoyed a terrific lunch with family. The food was excellent and good value. Jojo and Jordan took great care of our small party, ensuring our 93 year old grandmother was comfortable.

Went for new years eve with the family, there was 14 of us and mark and emma did an excellent job with us. Mark was very friendly and helpful with meals. Emma was great with clearing the table & lovely. Thanks for a good night.

Have booked a room for a family get together for several years on the Sunday between Christmas and new year and had a buffet each year however this year although booked and paid for in advance was told that they didn't do buffet on Sunday when we all turned up Very disappointed Strange that a refund was issued when pointed out the full booking details

Came today for a little woodland walk and some family food. Food was fantastic!! Service was outstanding, very professional, polite and welcoming! Especially Luke, our waiter.

We eat here as a family on Christmas Day, for Christmas dinner, the whole atmosphere was just off, the food quality was awful, along with presentation, literally just stopped on a plate with no finesse considering £65 per head for Christmas dinner, when the main is a carvery. Carvery itself (no lamb)? For Christmas day? Absurd. Roast potatos were not ROAST anything, more like barely cooked/boiled potatoes with a weird coating on, vegetables were chewy, stuffing was cold in the middle, shown to our table by the most unenthusiastic, friendly male ever, drinks poor, tasted watered down the whole day felt rushed from start to finish, I had staff asking for my glass before I had even finished my drink, not a polite "have you finished/are those finished with" just a "pass me that glass" not a single mention of the mince pies that was part of the so called "4 course meals" was even asked (& borderline persuaded) to take our desserts home, sons dessert was absolutely woeful & not as described at all, not a thank you, goodbye, merry Xmas, or anything. Disgusting to be honest.waste of money and 100% would not return for Xmas dinner again. Shame really because dined there tons of times throughout the year and never had an issue before.

We attended the Hall on Christmas Day with our family group of nine for our Christmas meal. The welcome, service and comfort was first class. Our three course meal was served impeccably very pleasant staff and the food was extremely well presented and cooked all courses being of the correct temperature. The menu choices impeccable. When we were pleasantly full our desserts were packed up to be taken home. Big thanks to all the management, staff and all concerned. We would without hesitation recommend to all to visit in future as we certainly will be.

Have visited twice this week. Firstly for work Christmas meal which was excellent. Secondly just for coffee ( group of 5 ) Staff were busy with Christmas food but were still happy to accommodate us. Big shout out to lovely Joanne who was so friendly. Highly recommend this place

We went for lunch to their cavery, the choice was amazing, choice of meats,beef, gammon,pork, turkey, choice of vegetables, most were done 2 ways or more. We gave it a big thumbs up. It is based in an old manor house.

I recently arranged the festive menu for our volunteering group. Sarah particularly, was so helpful ,assisting with everything from table arrangements to individual diet needs. A really great evening was enjoyed along with yummy meals too ! A huge thank you to everyone . As Arnie says ...I,ll be back !

JoJo our waitress couldn't do enough to look after us. Superb service and excellent food. In the words of the Terminator "I'll be back".

Since we have visited this establishment, it was rather unfortunate to find that such a beautiful place has gone downhill. For starters on entry into this building we were met with a very peculiar disgusting smell. There were 3 of us, one ordering the chicken tikka curry, one ordering the chicken combo, one ordering the carvery. The curry was lacking portion wise and on request for more curry we were met with a very snarky attitude from the server. I would say were fortunate to get a larger portion of curry but it was bland, watery and the poppadom was wet. The onion bargies far too salty and very burnt chips and rice. The chicken combo was very dry and the carvery was left out far too long and was cold. Food not cooked right The waiter had the audacity to laugh when taking our plates saying 2 portions of curry was too much and cannot be eaten all at once. However it was vile and you would have to pay me to eat it. Not happy, not worth such an expensive price for rude service and disgusting food. £50 that we will not be getting back.

Great family get together for a pre Christmas meal.. 10 Adults 2 Children most having the carvery, one child’s meal and one main meal followed with a few deserts of cake and Ice cream. Portions excellent, more than plentiful, quality above average. No complaints from the group. Service from JoJo was exceptional. Very attentive, friendly and polite, she was a joy! Thank you .. The setting is a bonus to what was a lovely warm visit. Will return.

We have just been for a carvery for my Mums 88th birthday. The food was fantastic. The choice of three meats, meat was really tasty. A great selection of vegetables and perfectly done roasties. The manager and the staff were so friendly and helpful. All went towards a very enjoyable evening. Thank you.

Recently held a wake in a private room. Staff were so helpful, attentive and respectful, and even though 20 extra people turned up unexpectedly, it was not a problem for the staff who had no issues accommodating the extras. We had a Carvery and everyone said how lovely it was. Thank you Allerton Hall.

Fish and chips excellent. Chicken wing starter very tasty. Dealt with my wife's allergy very well. Staff as always pleasant, friendly attentive and helpful.

Had a lovely lunch at Allerton Hall today. Surroundings really picturesque. Staff absolutely gorgeous especially with my elderly grandad - made a big fuss of him so thank you! Thanks especially to Kerris who was very attentive.

We didn't book a table at allerton hall but the staff kindly found us a table, very welcoming staff. Our food was brought to us quickly and the meals were fabulous, really recommend this place for a meal or just passing through for a drink of any kind. Really enjoyed the whole experience.

Brian who served us was so lovely….really helpful, friendly and polite. Karl apparently was the chef on today and having been a few times did the carvery and always lovely … today was somehow so much nicer… the carrot and swede … full but had to go back for more of it .. just yum!! My husband had the fish scampi and battered sausage dish ….he said it was really good but wouldn’t order again … too big a portion 😂😂 !!!! Really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks to both lads

Popped in for an early morning coffee, cake, etc sat outside with son and dog. Joanne couldn’t have been more helpful serving us and bringing drinks etc out.

The family took a close relative, ailing from Dementia, for light lunch here. We did not eat a great deal but Kerris and the staff were very sensitive to our needs, clearly experienced and gentle in this quite difficult situation. Amazing food and hospitality. Compliments to the chefs Sarah T, Chris, Ryan and front of house Louise. The food arrived execpetailly quick from ordering and the ice cream parlour offers a huge selection of quality flavors. Well worth a visit and we will certianly be back!

Carvery is very nice and huge, as were the deserts. Lovely atmosphere and great for children. Our server Laura was so lovely, very friendly, interacted with the kids and had great customer service. She’s a Credit to you xxx
