Nice clean and atmospheric pub, lively light display for the music and ambience. Quick service at the bar and food came out in double quick time. Excellent central location and it is a huge pub.

Nice spoons. Lots of interesting decor. Seating in assorted situations. Popular with a younger crowd. Usual spoons food. 😋 filling, functional, affordable,fast.

Used to love a pint of Shipyard here, but the last few times I've been they seem to have lost the sparkler. Not the excellent pint I'm used to!

This was our first visit. It is definitely for the young. The music played was banging and repetitive, not our cup of tea. Wetherspoons is really good value for money when having a drink, but we prefer to be able to hear ourselves to speak.

Must be one of the biggest spoons I've been in, it was absolutely buzzing no seats anywhere tbh was served very quickly

Went with my family here as they told me they were playing an arsenal match on the tv later that night and children were allowed in , at half time we were then told the match was being turned over , arsenal were beating Everton 2-0 and a few of the punters weren't happy , went and asked why the 2nd half wasn't being played only to be told I had to leave as me and my 2 sons were making too much noise when arsenal scored and after 9pm it wasn't family friendly anymore . . . Won't be back

I do like to meet my old school friend here. It is inexpensive and friendly. I was a tad disappointed at the sad, limp Mediterranean salad. As a vegan, the dishes are limited anyway; having a richer, crisper, tastier salad would have been appreciated. Creating a good salad shouldn't be too difficult; it it requires a little extra research into what makes a kicking, tasty vegan salad. Come on, guys .... inspire the non-meat eaters :)

Service a bit slow when ordering at the table,but I didn't eat here

Everything you'd expect from a Wetherspoons. Service was quick and friendly. The food was good. This is a large Wetherspoons. Lots of room for everyone. Loos upstairs, but clean and lots of them. It can get a bit loud at times, but that's the clientelle - nothing much you can do about that! Recommended.

Just had a quick pint in here, but seemed decent.

Didn't eat but very busy and still got the drinks out quickly with table service. Place was a bit of a mess however.

Liverpool has the most Wetherspoons in the city than any other in the UK. The Lime Kiln is one of the lowest priced Wetherspoons in Liverpool, excellent considering its location. Food and drinks are what you would expect from a Spoons.

One of the most popular Wetherspoon pubs in Liverpool is The Lime Kiln Pub, been here many times over the years, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. A really big Wetherspoon pub set over two floors, great serving bar's on both floors, typical Wetherspoon decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Concert Square. We were here on a beautiful afternoon, very warm day indeed, we luckily managed to get a alcove table, we then decided to have a bit of a beer session here ,we started off with some real ale's each from Sharps Brewery and Greene King Brewery, these were served in pristine condition, after our real ale's we then tried bottles of Birra Moretti, again this fine Italian beer was served in great condition being iced cold and sparkling, we had two bottles each of this great beer ,we then decided to have a meal ,as it was Thursday this was a no brainer, we went for a curry meal each which was absolutely delicious and just what we needed to set us up for a good few hours, after our meal we then tried some cocktails, again these were amazing, so tasty, we rounded off our visit here with a pint of guinness each which was the perfect end to our 4 hour visit here ,had a great time, can't wait to go again next time we're in Liverpool City Centre hopefully very soon. The Lime Kiln Pub is easy to locate along Fleet Street and looking out onto Concert Square, a square and area teeming with pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from 9am. Well worth checking out if you're in the Ropewalks District of Liverpool.

Good food, beer included in the meal, £21 for two people, the cheapest we have found

This seems to be the place to go, other bars in the area had staff outside them trying to tempt patrons inside. This pub didn't and it was very busy. There is a lot of choice on the menu and the deals of a drink included with the price are great. We had steak, pizza and burgers, all were grand. The desserts are good too and a few of them are only £2 which is amazing.

Very good pub / restaurant. Not your typical “spoons”. Lovely decor and architecture. Very cool staff, but there are long queues at the bar. In house wifi didn’t work. The Sauvignon Blanc is very, very good.

Before starting a ten days holiday in Benidorm my twin brother and I decided to jump the train down from Kirkby to Liverpool City Centre and visit some of the great pubs our city is justifiably famous for ,one of the first we visited was The Lime Kiln Pub. A big Wetherspoon pub ,its set over two floors, a great looking serving bar on both floors and typical Wetherspoon decor and furnishings plus lots of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Concert Square, its just a great pub to unwind in. We luckily managed to get a table upstairs as this pub was busy on our visit, we ordered a pizza each and as part of the meal deal we were entitled to a drink,we chose a gin & tonic and while sipping our delicious g & t's our pizza arrived and what a treat. Pizza was really good, a thin base,a more than generous topping, beautifully seasoned and most importantly served steaming hot, a totally delicious and filling pizza indeed, just what we needed to set us up for a few hours, after our pizza meal and g & t's we enjoyed a few real ale's from Sharps Brewery and Greene King Brewery which rounded off our visit perfectly, had a really good time here before we moved on. Very good pub and great value for money. Came multiple times as we were on holiday in Liverpool. problem we had the chips were cold and at breakfast here my fork had left over food stuck in it.

This was a superb pub for drinking, with a top notch location too in Liverpool's main clubbing district to go out afterwards! The area is very large and has a flashiness, counter is well-presented too. Seating is comfortable and atmosphere was fantastic; cocktails were definitely enjoyable here!

"Dancey Spoons" It has a dance floor which opens up on Friday / Saturday nights. There's a DJ too. The layout is really nice and the building is quite pretty. In a fab location. The food and drink are the usual, great prices. The spoons did show the Euros Football games on multiple screens. The toilets were clean. The staff were polite. ** We spent more because we drank more. I recommend using the drinks offers.

Always a busy pub, which offers the usual JD Weatherspoon experience. There are usually lots of decent craft beers on offer and an extensive range of lagers and spirits. The staff are always friendly and the bar is located near a lot of other bars in the Concert Square area.

Nice spacious airy & bright pub. Reasonable selection of beers & the staff are busy as its a popular pub but theyre still kind & helpfull.

Not like a normal spoons as empty plates are gone as soon as you're finished, same with empty glasses. Pub was clean and the staff really friendly. It was not surprising, really, as this was the busiest pub in the area.

Visited with 14 other people and the staff were very accommodating in helping us to move tables around. Lovely atmosphere and staff were helpful and friendly.

Was here early the 19th May about 11am .. buzzing already but so was the whole of the city .. bar staff where excellent and friendly Pints served promptly and food delivered fast . Could get over the range of food on the menu and the drinks available behind the bar , plus the value for money Pint of Guinness and a pint of Strongbow £6.39 I wish the Wetherspoon’s in Dublin was even half as good

A quiet oasis next to the madness of concert Square

Large Witherspoon pub in Concert Square area of Liverpool. Plenty of space to have a quiet meal. Afternoon deals are very good.Large cod, chips and peas, plus an alcoholic drink, for £8 before 5 o'clock. Fish as good as I've paid one's nearly twice as much for without a drink. Friendly service and meal came without too long a wait.

Took a food order to the value of £30 at 20.45pm the while we waited the staff arrived at the table and asked us to vacate the table as they needed to clear the area for a a dance floor. Then asked us to please eat as quickly as possible and rushed us into eating fast .

Although still some staffing issues I would like to be more positive about my recent visits.. Most of the staff work very hard and are polite and endearing.. The beers and foods that I have ordered and also seen others order has been of a good standard and the atmosphere has been very good recently.. So well done guys there seems to be some progress being made and my visits have been enjoyable.. I must though just have one negative comment to make and although I wanted to avoid negativity I believe the point is valid from a customer and Wetherspoon viewpoint.. I know the staff generally do not wear uniforms and that allows for a personal dress code for each individual.. The minimum requirement should be clean, and reasonably smart trousers or shirt, however one individuals appearance is very much in need of improvement.. Baggy shirts looking rather worn and jaded accompanied by corduroy pants with holes in the backs of the thighs is not what one would expect in any establishment and particularly as this person is on the shift manager scale. Also he seldom appears happy in his job which is a shame because Eli or whatever his name is should count himself lucky he has one..

Great part of Liverpool for a beer, this spoons is a busy bar. My partners burger was cold, she had 2 bites, but no fuss she was served another... this one was too hot 🙄 Had a nice afternoon, having a beer and people watching.

As they go, a decent Wetherspoon pub. In a great position in the city. Strangely they were showing a football match when we went there, which seems unusual. Nice airy feel to the pub, a decent number of tables. It was extremely busy but food turned up fairly quickly when ordered off the app. Staff seemed quite friendly as well.

Nice place in the center of Liverpool where you can eat something at a good price and with a variety of beers. Very nice waiters

We were here on a Thursday evening, pub was busy with a great atmosphere, we luckily managed to get a table were we decided to have a meal, we went for the Thursday night " curry night " deal,we opted for a chicken masala meal which entitled us to a drink of our choice, we chose bottles of beer from Moretti Brewery, served in pristine condition, we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular pub. While sipping our delicious Italian beers our meals arrived which were totally delicious, a thick chicken curry, crispy popodums and fresh naam bread ,so tasty, so filling and great value for money. We both really enjoyed our meals and beers in here before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time . I came across this wetherspoons by accident, and went in to get out of the rain. It's a new build. On 2 floors, it's a big place there was a massive disco ball and they had TVs. I didn't eat, drinks were cheap. Small outdoor area.

Love this place it was really busy but they were really quick and fast. Drink were amazing and were very nice. The food was delicious 😋. I had the boneless box and it was really nice. There is quite a few toilets. And loads of tables it is quite big place. I went with friends as it was a birthday. I will come again.

Very authentic restaurant (not many tourists, so Mainly locals) are close to the ground. Experience the daily life of people in Liverpool. The price is very reasonable and worth trying.

Visited on Easter Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy but not dead either. Service was fast, efficient and friendly. Food arrived quickly and was nice and hot. I have to say that my cod and chips was the best I've had anywhere in years! Will definitely visit again

One of the best pubs in bold street, and cheap

Well done to the manager and staff of the lime kiln. Entering the pub we found the staff busy cleaning the bar area and tables, not an empty glass or plate in sight. On a rainy Sunday we called in for a drink and decided to stay longer. We had 12 alcoholic drinks 4 meals and spent £70, food was simple tasty and well prepared. For tourists or people on a budget this is the place to go for a snack, meal or drink.

This is the second time I've been here, the first time just for drinks with my husband on a Sunday afternoon. Came again last Thursday and had food and drinks. We both had chicken Tikka Masala curry with rice poppadoms and naan bread. Good portion size and was nice and hot. Will definitely come again as it's good value for money for £10 which includes a drink too.

One of the waters on valentines day at 2pm very enthusiastic we asked him to remove the dishes which he did with some atertude and did not wipe the table so we asked him if he would do it he brushed some papers on to the floor and left.
