The best restaurants serving British food in Sunderland North East

I am reviewing the casino. We waited so long for Grosvenor to reopen this casino. It was fantastic. managements welcomed us. All staff greeted us. I can honestly say this casino has the best staff ever and we have been to quite a few up and down the country. No matter how busy they get we are always treated with respect and staff are always courteous. There are many a casino could learn a lot from Sunderland. Covid precautions excellent. Made us feel safe and secure totally understood our anxieties.All wore masks and constant cleaning, Cant praise them enough. thank-you.

Visité durante la semana del restaurante y encontré las opciones de menú y la comida real para ser excelente. Platos bien presentados que eran sabrosos. Ambiente del restaurante y mesa agradable. El personal de camarera eficiente, aunque un poco nervioso, uno necesita recordar que este es un restaurante de capacitación tanto para los chefs como para el personal de espera, están aprendiendo en el trabajo, así que esto debe tenerse en cuenta. Excelente relación calidad-precio por buena comida de calidad. Definitivamente volveremos.

Llamaron a la hora del almuerzo y aunque estaba ocupado nos ofrecieron una mesa de inmediato Hemos estado aquí numerosas veces y cada vez el personal ha sido tan acogedor, amable y servicial. La comida era excelente como siempre. ¡Lo más difícil es decidir qué elegir del menú!

After several visits and good reviews,,time for a not so good one Del boy burger,,Nothing like photo, only 2 patties not 4 and the cheese and bacon loaded tater tots or fries, were a handful of chips with a slight dusting of a seasoning I couldn't even taste This was nearly double the price of the others,,should of been 1/2 the price,,been wanting to try it for a while and was really disappointed. The other meals were really good. Didn't complain on the day,,as I am not one to make a fuss in public.

We attend the prospect pretty much on a weekly basis but tonight was extra special for our daughters 8th birthday. The prospect is her favourite place. She brought 3 friends along and they all had a wonderful time. All food was beautiful as always...we wouldn't visit so often if it wasn't. As always 5*

Cuando había como una familia de cuatro, estar antes bastantes veces sin ningún problema, pero esta vez yo y mi hijo tuvimos robo, patatas fritas y rodajas extra de queso y aros de cebolla más su dice ensalada. Ambos ladrones no tenían salsa y les faltaba queso extra. Los ladrones de la foto se veían muy bonitos, los que conseguimos eran muy delgados e insípidos. El personal es genial, pero dudo mucho que volvamos.

Fantástica tubería inglesa completa caliente comida cocinada fresca sin duda recomendaría un buen lugar limpio personal muy amable y precios razonables

Lovely pub but really disappointed by the female member of staff serving who blatantly ignored us waiting patiently at the bar and deliberately served others who clearly arrived after us. Poor attitude and the pub deserves better quality of staff than this. Walked out and went to Tin of Sardines down the road - proper and fair service....

Very convenient for anyone travelling on A1. Although located in an industrial estate, this is anything but industrial. The tea room is beautifully decorated and gives you a feeling of Alice in Wonderland tea party. The food is great and fresh. We will certainly be visiting here again!

Booked for my son's birthday for Sunday lunch. Absolutely beautiful food! Pink beef and belly pork 10/10 and I had rubarb crumble and custard and it was delicious! Great portions and the staff are lovely. Definitely recommend we will be back.

Well worth a visit, do really nice food, band nights on Saturdays, games nights on Sundays, Quiz and bingo Thursday and cheap nights Mondays. All the staff are very accommodating and friendly. As you can tell we go often, oooh and the beer and drinks are really reasonable!

Best fish and chip shop ,fish excellent and chips done to perfection not greasy at all ,we have had a few lunches here and I would definitely recommend that you try it ,other fish shops take notice and learn ! Ps the staff are polite and very pleasant as well.
