Pizzas gorgeous, cocktails amazing,staff dead friendly, lovely little bar

First time here and ordered regular fish and chips. Fish was nice but batter was very hard. Chips were lovely and the gravy was lovely too... Will definitely be coming back here but won't be ordering anything with batter on it 🤔

Varied and wide choice of food all presented and cooked very well with good sized portions. The staff were very friendly and polite could not do enough for you.

We travel to Gladys tea rooms from Jarrow, 62 mile round trip, everything was amazing, we love the atmosphere, the service is outstanding and the food absolutely amazing, we are already looking forward to our next visit 😀 We dined in and bought food to bring home 😃 We had Quiche, scampi, ham and egg and also chips, it was lovely 😍 👌 👍

Had a lovely meal and was served by the lovely Sam, who was very attentive and made sure I was happy. Would happily recommend for anyone wanting decent food.

A cosy fisherman's bar- very welcoming on a wild and wintry wander.

I visit Hartlepool from London several times a year and always make a beeline for this lovely cafe. The staff are friendly and the coffee is delicious - they know how to make a decent espresso which isn't a given in many cafes. I recommend the gorgeous vegan chocolate sponge pudding - ask them to heat it up. Goes nicely with coffee. Thankyou to all the staff.

Once again on a weekend visit to Hartlepool this restaurant ticks all the boxes boxes for a fine Sunday Lunch. No frills done very well and fabulous young and enthusiastic staff make it a pleasure to eat here.

This is simply a brilliant pub for great food on the Headland. The staff always go out of their way to make you feel welcome and I'd recommend anyone visiting the Headland to try the food here. I visit regularly and the food is superb. They have a good menu and drink selection. Parmos, pies sundays lunches are excellent and the chips here are second to none.
