Came here for a Saturday breakfast before the long drive home. Arrived around 11 and was informed of a 30min wait for which they kindly took our number and phoned us up when ready. We waited only 15 mins in the pub next door before we called back! The service, food, and experience were all top notch. The full english was served perfectly and the coffee was superbly made. The prices were good for the quality on offer. Everyone was very friendly and I'm so glad I was recommended to come here.

I don't even know where to begin with Steph & her wonderful little escape from life. When you go in, you're greeted by a warm & intimate seating area, a bar & a stage (this is where the magic happens...) - The staff there, Steph, Lauren & Hope, are all absolutely amazing. Nothing is too much! I've been to a few of Steph's mic nights & every time I've left feeling on top of the world. That banter/back & forth you can have with Steph is so refreshing, and still maintains her iconic humour that lead to her rise in Social Media fame! Drinks are beyond reasonably prices, I paid £15.90 for a whole bottle of wine & a double gin & lemonade. In York where I'm from, that'll have set you back anywhere from £30 - £40! Lovely Chippy , been coming here since I moved to Hartlepool, fish is absolutely gorgeous, chips are lovely and staff and owners are always friendly.

This is our regular spot from breakfast in Sunny Seaton Carew on a Thursday morning.. the quality is outstanding and the service is great.

I visit Hartlepool from London several times a year and always make a beeline for this lovely cafe. The staff are friendly and the coffee is delicious - they know how to make a decent espresso which isn't a given in many cafes. I recommend the gorgeous vegan chocolate sponge pudding - ask them to heat it up. Goes nicely with coffee. Thankyou to all the staff.

Amazing fish and chips, the best place ive found, the food is so fresh, quick service and the staff are amazing. They have all the time in the world for you, so friendly and proffessional. The owner and managment should be so proud of them.

Varied and wide choice of food all presented and cooked very well with good sized portions. The staff were very friendly and polite could not do enough for you.

They have a great thing going with a quality comedy night.

Once again on a weekend visit to Hartlepool this restaurant ticks all the boxes boxes for a fine Sunday Lunch. No frills done very well and fabulous young and enthusiastic staff make it a pleasure to eat here.

Visited today for take out fish and chips, I pre ordered 2 half lots and 2 cartons of peas , they were both put in very small cartons the size of the fish was absolutely tiny and about 10 chips in total, yes they a half lot but usually if you go to any other local fish shop and get a half lot they are always a decent size portion and good size fish, the portion size would not have filled a child , I asked for extra portion of chips so it would make the meal bigger , the total of the meal came to £23.88 the food was put on the counter I asked if they could be put in a bag they said that would be an extra 10p ,which after spending £23 on two tiny portions of half lots i refused , i was totally gob smacked they wanted 10p, the chips were dry and cold but i must say the fish was lovely but i will definitely not be returning , i will stick to a good old local fish shop, ive added 2 stars because i must say the fish was very nice even though it was that small 3 mouthfuls and the fish was gone.
