I visited here with a group of friends for Sunday lunch. The food was lovely but the attitude of one staff member was appalling, older lady with grey short hair! I asked if I could order a drink as no one came over to our table after being sat for 10 minutes and she huffed and told me to hurry up as she was busy! I then asked for a fanta she told me they don’t do fanta and just looked at me, never offered anything else or told me what other options there was. After Rudley taking our drinks orders she then came over to our table and said if we didn’t go for our food That minute we wouldn’t be getting a Carvery as Deliveries where going out??? She then walked past our table when my child was crying and said shut that racket up?? Absolutely appalling and won’t be returning due to her shocking customer service skills and attitude! Shame

Very nice indeed. The food was excellent, we had mince and dumpling with veg and friend had cheese pie and chips and it was all gorgeous. I also had the best chocolate fudge cake I have ever tasted. Proper homemade food and lovely surroundings. Will definitely be back.

Had my dad's surprise birthday party here exclusively just for us the food was fabulous and the staff were lovely nothing was a bother best restaurant in town well worth a look

The food was obviously fresh and amazing. It's off the main road, so you don't get the traffic passing, and really good value. Definitely home made and a makes such a change from microwaved pub food.

Very nice traditional Sunday lunch. Wholesome Good food in friendly, warm, period character environment. Excellent cut of lean beef.

Went for lunch today with a friend. Although being down a side street and next to a not too nice looking bnb the cafe was clean bright and well decorated. We had a light lunch (cheese ommelette with salad and chips and jacket potato with salad.) Portions were great and certainly not mean as often given on "light bites" There were several specials on offer plus all day options of breakfast type food, sandwiches etc.Food was exceptionally fresh and very tasty. Service excellent and prices very reasonable. I would recommend this for traditional English food and a great change from fish and chips when at the seaside.

Found the Trinity Tea Rooms down a side street in Seaton Carew, What a fantastic find, I had the pleasure of a wonderful Victoria sponge and my husband had a scone, with two coffees, the cake was delicious, the scone was lovely and fresh ,the service was impeccable and the price was even better, I would highly recommend the Trinity Tea Rooms, and we will definitely be returning. Thank you.

My sister, my niece and myself went to the above for tea, toasted teacake and scones. What a pleasant surprise! The cafe was bright, clean and airy and the staff very welcoming. We enjoyed a huge pot of tea and scones and toasted teacake, the waitress waslovely, and she served us with a smile! Will definitely return Moley 359

Best place in town for Afternoon Tea, everything is freshly made and lovely, all at a great price. Sunday lunch is beautiful, again all freshly made and delicious. Lunchtime specials are great as well. Get yourself there and try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely lovely Sunday carvery, all fresh veg proper Yorkshire’s and lovely meat was spot on, also been for afternoon tea again everything was made fresh, also recommend his corned beef pie chips mushy peas nd gravy. Well worth a visit.

A warm welcome to pleasant surroundings ( much nicer inside than I expected). We were seated quickly and chose from the specials board. I enjoyed a roast pork dinner and my partner opted for the corned beef and potato pie with mushy peas , chips...

Have eaten here a number of times now and the food is always delicious. My favourite is the poached eggs, smoked salmon and avocado. And the key lime pie is amazing!
