The best restaurants serving British food in Bishop's Lambeth London

A great find. BLT bagel was killer and the coffee was too. Also, coffee was cheaper than back in Nottingham!

Avoid at all cost, it took me multiple tries to book this restaurant as there was quite a few of us going for my mums 70th birthday. I was constantly told to email to make a booking then no one would reply. I was looking at the menu for this Saturday only to find out it’s temporarily shut! No one bothered to get in contact and let me know it isn’t open. It has now left me looking for another venue for 5 days time to hold my mums 70th birthday. Definitely will not be returning, their customer service is shocking

Dropped by for a bacon and sandwich roll, lovely food at reasonable price, staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

£4.50 for a soda water. Barman poured it out from a plastic bottle. Knew what he was doing. I’d just paid 70p for one in another bar. Shoddy.

This places continues to be absolutely excellent and underrated. It’s a brilliant cafe (and priced well for the quality), an outstanding specialist grocer and with an excellent butcher in the basement. Staff are friendly, food is great and there is a surprisingly spacious indoor area to eat.

Absolutamente delicioso desayuno en Balance. Nos dieron un 10% de descuento con nuestra estancia en el hotel Point A en Waterloo que nos señaló a ir aquí. Hay una gran variedad de comida, no solo desayuno - hay ofertas para el almuerzo y la cena también. Tuve el brindis avo con feta y mi novio tuvo las tortitas con jarabe de arce y plátano. Tuvimos un chupito de fruta cada uno y un americano negro - todo era absolutamente delicioso. Cuando llegamos, estaba bastante ocupado, así que se esperaba esperar un poco para nuestra comida, pero no había retraso en absoluto. Vale la pena llegar temprano ya que salimos justo después de las 9 y estaba muy ocupado y la gente estaba haciendo cola para entrar - poco estable así!

Excelente café para llevar y croissant de almendras para el desayuno sobre la marcha. A pesar de una cola nos atendieron muy rápido. Croissant delicioso como no mucho tiempo horneado.

I regularly visit the Garden Shack Hideaway for breakfast or lunch. The food is great, although I'm not a vegetarian I have on my last couple of visits had the Veggie Breakfast & it was Delicious. The staff are excellent & always have a smile for the customers. If your a regular they always chat.

Visitado hoy para el desayuno. Ahí a las 10. 10 solo para que te digan que no hay huevos o tocino disponibles ya que ‘el chef se va a casa pronto’. Realmente decepcionante. Tampoco hay dátiles / melaza disponible para la papilla “oh no tenemos eso aquí” Scone entregado en un plato sin mantequilla El café era agradable al igual que las papillas (aunque no lo suficientemente caliente pero no había otras opciones de desayuno caliente! ) Aseo en muy mal estado, necesita reforma Qué pena - Gails solía ser tan lujoso, diferente, vale la pena pagar extra. Great service and location. Only complaint is that the walls are pretty thin and I kept getting woken up by the neighbors
