Caffe Quattro in Lambeth

Place was packed with workers which is always a good sign. Service was prompt and order arrived quickly even though it was busy. Great bacon buttie and good coffee. What’s not to like.

Bacon rolls are stuffed with bacon and half the price of other more trendy, yet meagre offerings. Good English breakfast and coffee's not bad either. 5 stars is for value, although the quality's not too bad.

Great coffee! Great salads and sandwiches at really affordable prices. This is a place not occupied by tourists.

Searched for 5 star rating and reasonably priced for lunch. Knew it was going to be good when I seen this place packed out with workers. Busy Italian cafe. The lasagne was incredible- hot dish with lasagne and lots of sauce. £15 for two for lunch. Don’t miss out.

This place is my secret indulgence! I nip in here once a week..the service is great, the food is well cooked, coffee is lovely...and the sausage rolls are proper good sausage rolls!

All day breakfast was really good. Excellent choice of panini's. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back.

Went in there for a quick brekkie, asked for a fried egg sandwich and instead got a cold soggy egg sandwich. For £3 it was a rip off. The women who served me were not friendly either. The deco needs badly updating.

Very pleasant staff always smiling, cafe could do with a lick of paint to bring it up to standard of area, food is excellent fresh and hot. Very good variety on menu, excellent value for the area. All day full English breakfast best value includes hot drink and toast, beware though with coffee is more expensive than with tea which is the price that sticks out

Excellent service, friendly people and lovely food. Close to Waterloo Station and the London Eye. This place was a great find and I would definitely visit again. My parents said they had the nicest cup of coffee that they've ever had, and our bacon sandwiches were delightful!

If you want an English Breakfast to start the day when in London, then visit this caffe. It is located just round the cornet from Waterloo Station. The food was well cooked and reasonably priced, £6.20 for breakfast and a cup of tea.

Had breakfast and tea for £6.10 with in a minute of the london eye ! Good food and freindly fast service

I had the nicest Jacket Potato on my visit to London here. The service was great, food served hot and quick even with a busy shop.

Went here with my wife when on holiday for a cup of coffee last Easter and we liked it so much that when I'm in London on business I always come here for breakfast even though I stay in a hotel. The food is delicious and the staff are always nice. It's not expensive and has got a relaxed feel to it - you don't get the impression that once you finish you have to go (I've been in places just like that). Try it.

Fun staff, good hearty food, large portions and reasonable prices. Stay away from Southbank and go here for something that's a lot more filling at half the price. Coffee is great too!

I normally get my lunch from here during the week. They are quick, the food is good and its reasonably priced.I sometimes sit-in for a hot meal like lasagne or pasta and I don't feel like I'm getting ripped off like other places.

Ein paar Meter neben dem London Eye gelegen, haben wir McDonalds und Co. hinter uns gelassen und uns stattdessen hier unser Mittagessen gejagt. Für den kleinen Laden gab es eine beeindruckende Auswahl frischer Gerichte aus verschiedensten Regionen. Unsere Paninis zu je £5.10 haben uns gut satt gemacht und das Personal war freundlich und das Ambiente schlicht aber entspannt.

For excellent value and quality you canot go far wrong than Cafe Quattro. Their fresh breakfast will set you up for the day, and they also have a good selection of meals and freshly made sandwiches. Their coffee, as others have said is amongst the best in London, nothing like what you get in the chains. I can highly recommend it for a snack, meal or just a coffee - Well done Franco and his team!

This is an absolute delight of you are looking for fresh British food. We stopped for breakfast, service was really fast and staff all smile. The food is fresh and well cooked therefore It's just plain good.

We sat out side. Coffee is fab. And the staff are very kind. Reasonable prices And a lot of seating indoors and out.

My fiance and I had been to this place before and I knew it would be a good place to have breakfast before going to our hotel. As the prices are reasonable and the staff are nice and friendly and you don't have to pay straight away. This cafe also does takeaways if you require them.

Forgot all the chain cafe's and make for Quattro in York Road. Only a stone's throw from Waterloo, but far away from the bustle and into a traditional world of welcoming, efficient staff. Great range of lunch and breakfast choices, generous helpings, well cooked and at a fair price. If you are spending a busy day in the City, or simply sightseeing this is the place to build up your energy. Recommended

Have used this cafe several times going to and from Waterloo Station. Service is always quick and efficient. Full english breakfast great value and well cooked. Coffee is also very good. Large selection of hot and cold dishes. Contrary to previous comment there is a toilet, all be it very basic.

I was a regular at the Swedish Smålands Coffe a few doors down from this place and was left worried I'd be forced to buy my coffee from one of the big chains after it closed down last month. Enter Caffee Quattro to the rescue! It appears to be a family run independent Cafe which is exactly the kind of establishment I like to do business with. I decided to try it whilst waiting for the bus and was rewarded with the best coffee in London! Not only is it made to perfection but the beans they use are simply perfect with a wonderful flavour. When I was asked for £1.90 for a medium vanilla Latte, I was even happier! That is a great deal. I haven't eaten there yet but having had a look at their menu, I intend to visit them for lunch and hopefully the food will be as great as the coffee.

We stumbled upon this cafe after a long train ride. Wanting to avoid the standard chain food we ventured outside of the station and came across a clean looking cafe with an extensive menu. Very glad we found this gem of a place. The location is not the best but the cafe itself is a delight. Nothing fancy, but good food at reasonable prices with cheerful helpful staff who made us feel welcome. We had a range of food between the four of us including baguette, toasted sandwich, jacket potato and poached eggs on toast. Great coffee which was hot. The staff were happy to fill my travel mug with a coffee to go. Wide selection of soft drinks too. Hot main meals available and it seemed like every breakfast variation possible was on the blackboard menu. A place we will definitely return to when in this part of London again.

My husband and I enjoyed a couple of salad sandwiches here for a late lunch. It looks like it is a family run, no fuss, bare basic cafe that carers for office workers and wandering tourists. Extensive blackboard menu, cheap food, no air conditioning (but wasnt expecting it to), and staff just leave you alone to take your time and eat.

I have become an occasional user of this establishment for breakfasts. The service is impeccable - no waiting around for your food here - and the meals are hot and tasty. The only drawback that the cafe has is the lack of a toilet for patrons, but this also applies to many other establishments that serve this sector of the market. Highly recommended if you are in the area
