A charming shop with cordial and nice sellers, the fudge is very very tasty, there are a variety of flavors, it's worth traveling especially to Greenwich to buy from them.

Wow. Simply put, the breakfast I had today at The Plumstead Pantry was nothing short of exceptional – easily the best breakfast I’ve ever experienced in the entire Greenwich Borough, and dare I say, one of the finest Full English breakfasts in all of London! From the moment the food arrived, it was clear that this wasn’t just any ordinary breakfast. Every element was crafted with care, using top-quality ingredients: perfectly toasted sourdough, crispy bacon, juicy Lincolnshire pork sausages, and earthy mushrooms. But it’s the attention to detail that truly blew me away. Each bite was a symphony of flavors. The small yet thoughtful touches elevated the entire experience – a delicate gherkin alongside the butter, the beans (which resembled butter beans) in a proper, rich tomato puree, mushrooms cooked to perfection in garlic butter, and the most beautifully crispy hash browns. It wasn’t just a meal; it was an explosion of flavors with every forkful. The perfectly crafted oat milk cappuccino was the cherry on top – rich, creamy, and the ideal accompaniment to a breakfast that simply smashed all expectations. Words really don’t do this place justice – it’s one of those spots where you need more than one visit to fully appreciate the mastery behind each dish. If you’re in London and a breakfast lover, a trip to The Plumstead Pantry is an absolute must. And don't get me started on the cookies and cakes!!

Perfectly located for a snack before visiting adjoining Charlton House. It was pleasant to sit outside and watch the world go by. Staff were welcoming and helpful, going the extra mile to ensure everything was the best it could be. There is a good mix of people from the local community - the real world rather than a rarified segment. Good honest cafe fayre, but done with care and with an eye to quality. Would certainly seek this place out again if in the area again.

I had my first ever Fish and Chips at The Golden Chippy and it was very good! The batter is crispy and the cod almost melts in your mouth, the salad was also very good and I liked the texture the chips had. The staff was very friendly as well, I asked which fish should I try for my first ever Fish and Chips and the young man serving us promptly suggested I try the cod. We didn’t have to wait much for our food either, so I can recommend The Golden Chippy if you’re staying at the nearby Hotel and don’t really want to wait long for dinner. Thank you The Golden Chippy for making my first London visit a lovely and tasty one!

Food was mediocre. Mash had zero taste. Friend smothered her food with salt and pepper as she thought it was so bland and we'd gone there because she was desperate for pie & mash after too long without. Also, the pies are large but the portion of mash is very small, and the gravy (not the liquor) was as tasteless as the mash. The atmosphere was meh but they may have been due to the time of day. There were also guests having a bit of a barney. Which might have been interesting if we could hear clearly enough to understand what was occurring 😄. I will say that the staff were nice and the gentleman who cleaned the tables was wonderfully warm and friendly. The place was very clean, and the tea was excellent (would be better in a proper mug!). But unfortunately, for a restaurant, the food just wasn't great. And this isn't the first time I've been there and thought as much. There are far better pie and mash eateries around.

We love this pub, which is our local. We just want to put in a word for the staff, particularly Layton who is an exceptional. Bar person if that is the right terminology. He is cheerful, helpful and always has a smile on his face. We love coming here and he makes it special experience.

We were met at the college gate and taken to the ‘City View’ restaurant by a staff member. Charleigh and Bradley were our waiters and they did a great job of looking after us and explaining the menu (designed by Jon). The restaurant is small, which we like, but has a lovely view over London. The food was excellent, cooked to perfection and well presented. Jade was in charge of the restaurant and explained what was happening when there were minor delays. Overall, taking lunch here was a delightful experience and very reasonably priced. We will return. Well done all!

Good range of drinks and reasonable prices for the area. Not just front of pub but rear garden rare for the area
