Perfectly located for a snack before visiting adjoining Charlton House. It was pleasant to sit outside and watch the world go by. Staff were welcoming and helpful, going the extra mile to ensure everything was the best it could be. There is a good mix of people from the local community - the real world rather than a rarified segment. Good honest cafe fayre, but done with care and with an eye to quality. Would certainly seek this place out again if in the area again.

WOW, WOW, WOW!!!!!! Absolutely outstanding!!!!!! Eat in or takeaway this chipshop has it all, I had large Haddock, chips, mushy peas, curry sauce and a beer while I waited, what more could you want???? The chips where crispy on the outside and sort in the middle, the dish was golden and simply fantastic, when I'm in the west end I always go to the fish plaice, from now on, whenever I'm in the Greenwich area, the golden chippy will be my go to place.

22 King William WalkGood pie mash and peas at a very affordable price. Busy pub for lunch but friendly staff and lots of seats. Beautiful rooms, especially upstairs (nice view). I took the chicken and ham with peas and gravy. It was good, and very generous (you shouldn’t worry about being still hungry after that). But I was very disappointed with the gravy : it had no taste at all ! But still, I recommend this great pub.
