An authentic English cafe. The food is delicious and the service is wonderful. Very good quality-price ratio.

This place is a hidden gem of Woolwich. It’s nice and clean, many good options for food on the menu, and the prices are very affordable! The cafe offers freshly squeezed orange juice which is really good! I have to say that the owner is a remarkable person, he made an act of kindness towards me which was much appreciated!

Came up today with friends and also had a booking for the 2nd time with you in which got confirmation email and when we got to you guys you were shut. At the end of the day if your not gonna be open on the day that people book then you need to do two things, 1: change the opening times on your here and also let customers know when they are trying to book. There was 3 adults and a 9month old baby today and we didn't get to enjoy our day out due to your lack of communication.

This place is an absolute diamond in the rough, hidden out of the way. I popped in for a coffee and had the home-made tiramisu which was absolutely sublime. The staff are friendly and seem to know everyone that comes in. Will definitely be going in again.

Staff is super friendly, and you can have a set-up menu or build your own. Nice strawberry milkshake. Great food, awesome value vs. quality, and there's something for everyone!! I'm a loyal customer for nearly a decade, and I definitely recommend it!

This is our local cafe, we come here on a weekly basis. Staff are super friendly, food is always fresh and tasty and great prices. I can especially recommend the Tiramisu, it is fresh and delicious, a must try! :)

I love the cafe for me but I will never be able to take my 10 year old son because of the toilets he is SEN child in nappies and toilet not big Enough to change him if needed. Its a shame as I would love to bring him.

Great little cafe that we visit when staying at the Travel Lodge. A friendly welcome, comfortable atmosphere and great food. We had breakfast 1 and it was more than enough to set us up for a day exploring london. Highly recommend and look to coming back.

Used to go regularly 10 years ago after nights out cos they did a mean fry-up but stopped going due to getting old. I went last week with friends (without any hangovers) and I’m happy to report the quality is consistently high, the service is still great (same staff) and, even better, very reasonably priced. Highly recommended for a cheap and cheerful bite.

I'm pretty sure it's possible to do a greasy spoon wrong, but this cafe gets it absolutely right. A good long menu with all the options. Or food came out quick and hot. The service was friendly, the place was spotless. All in all a good one

Used to like it here but one of the staff wasn't very warm and friendly and I was supposed to get a plateful of food but because I had no chips, I didn't get any extra so my plate was half empty, but charged the same price! Very disappointed.

Found this place on the last day of my visit just round the corner from travelodge had a breakfast which was amazing and at a good price would definitely recommend

Grandes desayunos y almuerzos. El personal es amable y recuerda las preferencias de sus clientes habituales.

Servicio rapido. Paré aquí para el desayuno, que estaba muy bien presentado y preparado. No sentí que teníamos prisa tampoco. Nos alojamos en el Travelodge para la graduación de nuestro hijo.

Bonito café, vino, buen expreso, pudines, un poco de sol, relajarse, WiFi, comida casera, el pescado, excelente, recomendar un bonito y pequeño lugar

I visit Woolwich weekly on business and always stop here for a quick breakfast. Good quality food, from helpful & polite staff in a clean and comfortable environment - what more could I ask! Deserves a firm recommendation!

Visited as a group of 5 and sat outside as it was so hot!! This was a quickstop on the way to somewhere else. Staff very pleasant and it seemed as though this might be a place for regulars to meet up. We only had a soft drink and ice cream but nice as short break

Needed to get a quick, cheap tasty lunch in Woolwich the other day, and the Friends Cafe did the job very well! Chicken and melted cheese ciabatta was very tasty - a lovely big piece of chicken breast nicely grilled, and plenty of cheese on a nice fresh ciabatta, and a small but tasty bit of salad garnish on the side. Accompanied by a nice big mug of milky coffee - served nice and hot, so it was still hot and drinkable when I'd finished my sandwich. All that, and good value too.

Met a friend for lunch recently, she works in Woolwich. She had a huge omelette and I had the biggest jacket potato I have ever seen, let alone eaten! All delicious, hot and great value. Nice small cafe with great staff and nice atmosphere. Would I go here again? I can't wait!!!!!

Ein Freund führte uns zum Frühstück in dieses Lokal. Es liegt etwas abseits der Einkaufstrasse. Die Bedinung ist sehr freundlich und die Auswahl an Speisen ist sehr gut. Die Zubereitung der Speisen geht recht flott und die Portionen sind recht groß. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

I visited yesterday and ordered a grilled chicken salad sandwich. How many places do you know where you are served a whole chicken breast, grilled to perfection with plenty of beautifully crisp salad? It was like a meal in itself. Friendly staff and spotlessly clean surroundings. I will definitely be back.

In general was good. Staff friendly food was nice. The only reason I don't give 5* is because of dessert chocolate cake is really bad.

Desayuno las porciones son grandes y la comida es de buena calidad (y no demasiado grasienta). Permiten sustituciones por sus desayunos colocados, sin coste adicional. También sirven muy buen café. Estaba bastante concurrida pero aún muchos asientos disponibles, incluyendo asientos fuera. La gente que trabaja allí (los dueños?) eran excepcionalmente amable y agradable. Posiblemente el mejor desayuno en Woolwich! Volveremos.

Fuimos a café de amigos para tres mañanas de nuestro tiempo en Woolwich. (con un café tan bueno ¿por qué buscar otro sitio) muy amable, gran desayuno desde el menú o combinar justa como te sientes. En realidad se puede cocinar un huevo (yemas blandas) que es una rareza estos días y el resto de la comida, un oasis en las mañanas. Recomendado.

It has nice classic interior (in fact much nicer than expected from outside).Service is kind and efficient.Delicious English breakfast! You can mix and match, so you can be sure you will get all components you like!If you don't feel like English breakfast you still can eat nice sandwich or have a milkshake!If it's too late for morning meal - you can also have nice traditional lunch here.Food is splendid! - that kind of good classic honest food, you want, when you don't feel like fancy pastry, and you stop bull****ing yourself about diet.... :)
