I often eat lunch at the Royal Grill, from jacket potato and beans to ham salad, or spaghetti bolognese, I am always impressed, good quality, fresh food.

Qué joya. Todo cocinado a pedido, la comida era fabulosa. Servicio amigable. No puedo recomendar lo suficiente! Es pequeño, así que es posible que tengas que esperar, ¡pero valdrá la pena! ! !

Creo que fui el primer cliente del día. He apoyado al centro con varias donaciones, pero solo he visitado el café una vez. No recibí ningún saludo de bienvenida y ninguna sonrisa. Pedí un capuchino con leche de avena (la leche regular es difícil de digerir para mí) , me dijeron que solo el gerente podía hacerlo con leche de avena y el gerente no estaba. Así que tomé un capuchino “regular”. Hacía frío. ¡Lo devolví y lo pusieron en el microondas! Ni siquiera un café recién hecho y ciertamente ninguna disculpa arrepentida: Me dijeron que era el primer café del día y que la máquina debía estar fría. No disfruté de mi café y no disfruté de mi visita. Dos señoras que llegaron momentos después que yo fueron recibidas con grandes holas y preguntas sobre ‘¿cómo va la casa?’. Me pareció camarilla y antipático y ciertamente no volveré.

Vinimos aquí para una reunión familiar de último minuto para un cumpleaños y desde el momento en que entramos, nos recibieron con un cálido saludo del personal de la puerta y nos mostraron a nuestra mesa con menús. Nos sorprendió el hermoso interior y lo cálido y acogedor que se sentía en el interior. Todo el personal se aseguró de que sonrieron y nos saludaron cuando entramos. Un montón para elegir con opciones veganas y vegetarianas que se adaptan perfectamente a nuestra familia! Nuestro servidor, una señorita (lo siento, no puedo recordar su nombre) era muy amable y se aseguró de que estábamos constantemente lleno de bebidas y preguntando si la comida estaba bien. Atento pero sin interferir en absoluto. 12 . Se añadió un 5% de servicio, pero fue voluntario para despegar, pero por supuesto pagamos esto, ya que los servidores y el personal del bar trabajaron tan duro! Felicitaciones especiales a la señora haciendo nuestros martinis expresos, ya que eran perfectos! Justo como me gustan. No puedo esperar a la próxima vez que podamos volver. Gracias a todos por una gran noche. Ya hemos hablado a muchos amigos sobre esta joya oculta.

Disfrutamos de una comida muy sabrosa, servida inmediatamente después de hacer nuestro pedido. Fue genial poder traer a nuestro perro que también fue provisto de un tazón de agua

Visited here for the first time on Tuesday as was to early for an appointment . Received a warm welcome and enjoyed a fresh well cooked cheese omelette , no problems swapping chips for fresh tomatoes . Cafe is light , airy and spotlessly clean as were the toilets . Will return to try other items on the extensive menu.

Popped into this pub as it was round the corner from the theatre we were heading to. Did not get any food on this occasion, service was okay but the music was a bit too loud. It was nice to have a convenient spot to grab a drink before the show though.

Parecía encantador desde el exterior, sin embargo 4 de nosotros pedimos el desayuno y todos salieron por separado. Entonces mi amiga encontró un extremo de bolsita de té en el fondo de su bebida. Cuando ella se quejó de su bebida, el miembro del personal fue tan grosero y dijo que no se disculparía y que él es el lavado de la olla y están limpios. Luego dijo que todas las otras tazas estaban limpias y eso tiene sentido. Muy mal servicio al cliente no volverá aquí

We visited on a sunny Sunday afternoon and the place was very busy! Really large garden with multiple spaces to sit in if you want the sun or not. Great views of the Cutty Sark too. Food was absolutely lovely, service was quick and friendly given how busy they was. Definitely recommend.

We popped in on Friday 16th May for a drink but then decided to eat in the restaurant. However, on going to the bar (7:00pm) to get a drink for myself and wife. One member of the staff was busy doing drinks, and another in the far corner of the bar, clearly ignoring the fact that I was at the bar, and when other customers came in made no attempt to acknowledge us. I politely asked him if he could serve me. His response was accusing me of being rude to him – I wasn’t, shouting at him – I wasn’t. He asked the manager to come round which didn’t happen. He then decided to serve the people who came in after me and refused to serve me, so we left. If the management team are happy to see £’s walk out of the door, then no issue – I am sure he will have his side of the story, but I would suggest you talk to the guy who was doing all the work or refer to your CCTV to see what happened. I phoned on Saturday to have this conversation with the Manager, but after several times of ringing with no answer, I have now decided to post this review. Will definitely NOT return.
