We had a work event at The Old Brewery for 52 staff members - The entire event was perfection. We cannot thank Tommy and the team enough. The food, service and vibe was the best. Highly recommend. We had a fantastic evening, enjoyed by all the team. Thank you

Lovely place to sit but when we came in they said we had to download an app to order drinks which is ridiculous. Not everyone has a smart phone, what happened to just going to the bar to order?

A really nice place to sit outside and enjoy drinks (not food based on the burger experience followed by cauliflower cheese), if it is sunny.

This time came with friends for an Easter Sunday lunch. We all had the sharing roast, with starters and pudding. All excellent, especially the pork strips, and the Yorkshire puddings. We sat outside with the dogs, and some pleasant overhead heating. The staff were all very helpful and extremely polite. Will come again.

Decent Sunday roast although the nut roast was average at best & gravy not good at all which was disappointing. Also only got 1 piece of carrot & 1 small piece of parsnip so that's a bit stingy to be honest. Lovely staff, great atmosphere.

Place itself loved it didn’t even know it was there as its quite hidden staff were ok nothing special but they were busy so understandable. Our food took ages everything but the meat was well below par and took ages I mean ages to get any service… canceled our desert after 25mins of waiting. I’d go bk for a drink or something else on the menu definitely but not for a roast dinner if u want a nice roast go somewhere else

Looked at the online menu and booked a 7.15pm table for a sunday evening. Arrived to be told that the standard “dinner” menu on the website does not apply as sunday roast menu is in place so my first choice dish (lamb shoulder pie) not available. then told all meats for the roast had sold out so only Pork remained.I therefore ordered the pork together with a bottle of wine for my wife and I. The wine arrived and opened, after which I was informed that they had also run out of the pork roast!! Felt sorry for the poor waitress who had to deliver this news but could not hide my anger - to rune out of all roast meat by 7.15pm on a Sunday evening when this predominates the menu is unforgiveable (particularly since the restaurant was largely empty during our visit). In fairness I protested so vigorously that a pork roast was miraculously found and ultimately we were given 20% off our bill so cudos for that as well as the waitress who handled the situation as well as she could. However, some serious questions to answer for management inletting a situation like this arise in the first place.

Lovely Mother’s Day lunch. Great food and lovely staff. Beef was a little bit tough and not as rare as we like but it didn’t spoil the experience and quality of beef varies.

Hannah was great. All the staff were welcoming. Food was excellent. Atmosphere was one I would revisit. Only negative was the children’s portions size. Perhaps suggest an age group on the menu perhaps up 5/6 would work. It wasn’t enough for a 9 year old. Otherwise great restaurant.

Recommended place to visit when visiting maritime Greenwich and the local area.

Late afternoon for 3 people and the staff found a table for us in the busy restaurant. We were looked after by Stephanie and she couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. Food was lovely.

I went here once when it was still a Meantime brew pub and that memory has lingered! Now, though the staff was lovely and attentive staff, the rest was completely forgettable.

The old Brewery held my Mum’s birthday party for 25 persons on the 17th Feb. We all agree the food, service and atmosphere was exceptional. Could not fault anything. Thank you for all your hard work on that night.

Horrible food ! We only had: chips , platter of cheese and chicken nuggets and chips for kids! All of which was disastrous! Platter of cheese was only few tiny slices of cheese and 2 thin, slices of celery. Tasteless and very small portion no value for money! Bread was cold and horrible! Now the chicken and chips for kids looks like been frozen, fried and then microwaved! Not only looks terrible but taste awful! How on earth this is allowed! Proper tourist trap ( we are local though) so please avoid at any costs and save your money for many better places in Greenwich! Management get the grip of your food and kitchen and stop overarching for poorly executed food!!!

We were visiting the Painted Hall in Greenwich and found such a great restaurant! The ambience is incredible; food is delicious; service is excellent! Many thanks to our waitress Stephanie!

We dropped in for a little late morning refreshment, coffee for my wife and excellent real ale for myself. The staff were friendly and helpful, with quick efficient service. Well worth the visit.

Classic pub lunch, can't go wrong👌🏻

There were 11 of us . Kids from 2 months to 6 years old their parents and grandparents (us) . Brits, Kiwis and an American catching up on a busy Sunday lunchtime in Greenwich. The staff were brilliant, the food was delicious and we had a great time. I can’t think of a better place for a reunion! Thank you Stephanie and the team!

The staff were ok The food was terrible . I would not eat there again Avoid eating there much better places to eat in Greenwich I had the fish cake . It was a lump of mash with a couple of prawns stock on top and overcooked veggies The lamb pie was missing the lamb

Saw some excellent reviews online, so we went along on Sunday. What a fabulous place. Staff all very accommodating (even for the dog). We had the sharing roast (chicken, pork and beef along with lovely Yorkshire puddings). And, the crumble desert was superb. The whole experience was great, and will definitely go again. Well done!

The food was fine. Unfortunately there was a mouse running around the restaurant. I know it's an old building and by the river but it's a tad off putting.

My families favourite pub/restaurant in Greenwich. Lovely and warm, though popular, I haven't yet been turn away when turning up for Lunch. If you want to guarantee a table, especially in the summer, book a table. Great food, lovely staff and awesome decor.

We chose the Old Brewery as the venue for our team's 2023 Christmas party and were so pleased we did! Service was attentive and personal, despite there being several other large groups in the restaurant that night. Food was tasty and plentiful, great drinks too with something for everyone. The evening was a huge success in contrast to the complete disaster we had elsewhere the previous year. Thank you to the whole team!

Walked into this place and was made to feel stupid and completely unwelcome for trying to find our own seats, despite no clear please wait here sign, greeting from a member of staff and the place being advertised as a regular pub. Frosty atmosphere, all staff seemed annoyed and put out to have to serve us, with a special mention of rudeness to who we guessed was the manager of the place. This attitude seems to have rubbed off on the rest of the staff, apart from one guy who took our order (he had long hair tied back and glasses) who seemed genuinely nice.

We dined her on New Year’s Eve. The atmosphere, food and service was excellent and there were lots of options to choose from on the menu. Despite being very busy the staff were kind and looked after us. A lovely venue in the heart of Greenwich.

Excellent New Years Eve celebration. The whole evening was pitched absolutely perfectly and all of the staff couldn't have been any better. I would highly recommend this and will be looking out for the event next year

Have been to this pub/eatery a few times before during the summer but this was the first time I went for something a little more formal. The staff were very polite and attentive and the food was served in a timely manner and was very tasty. A lot of kids in on the day I went so one star off for Atmosphere

Fantastic service for our Christmas party! Tommy and Ty were extremely helpful with their guidance regarding the booking process prior to the party. Information about prices, packages and dishes were provided in advance so we have plenty of time and options to choose from. Maddy and the team were always around and were so so lovely to our guests. Couldn't ask for more!

Office Xmas party for ten of us. Maddy and the team looked after us and were cheerful and helpful. Food was really good and a great range of drinks. Would definitely recommend.

I went at around 3p.m. It wasn't busy but there were a few groups there, enough to create a relaxed atmosphere. Ordered the Sesame Flat Bread , Dorset Crab & Broccoli Tart and main was Cumberland Sausage & Root Veg Mash. To drink i tried a Beavertown Lazer Crush IPA Food was uniformly excellent. I particularly liked the Dorset Crab Tart and the Root Veg Mash. The Beavertown IPA was a very pleasant surprise. Staff were particularly helpful and attentive. Enjoyed the whole experience and i intend on visiting again soon.

I can’t believe that they put butter onto risotto! I’ve made many risottos in my time and have never used butter! Fortunately they were very good and replaced the dish with a much tastier and lighter version that didn’t contain butter. But we had to eat separately as my friend had finished by the time my replacement arrived.

It's the second time we have been for Sunday Lunch at The Old Brewery and their will certainly be a third. The food was fantastic and the young lady looking after our table (Maddy) was charm personified.

Good eat and excelence service. Service was fast and effective. Lamb dish was very fine , brocoli and parmesane pie was and very original proposal. The Burger was versión well acompañed and finally sausages was special flavour.

Large booking which needed amending as time went on. Tommy was excellent in his communication & we emailed regularly regarding updated numbers for booking. On the day 2 people were very late but staff accommodated them. Table was all set up for us. Nice atmosphere. Staff were friendly & professional. Food was excellent & service good. Very impressed & would definitely go back again. Good value for money. Only downside was no lock in gents bathroom toilet.

Upon entering the establishment we witnessed a chef (grey goatee with glasses, male) eating off a plate that was about to be served up a patron. I was in shock…I went to find some other friends in the bar only to witness him doing it AGAIN. Such a risk of cross contamination. More staff than patrons but from what we witnessed, I can see why!

Beautiful pub in a fantastic location. We were in Greenwich for a graduation so booked a table for lunch. We were welcomed really warmly, even though we we were early for our booking. The interior is gorgeous, very quirky but without being dingey. Our waitress was excellent, as where the 3 bugers and chips we ordered. The burgers were fresh and of excellent quality...and at £16 very reasonably priced, especially considering where we were. Decent portions, couldn't eat all the chips, even though they were delicious! Service was quick and attentive. The Greenwich lager is also highly recommended.

Being a wheelchair user, my current project right now is to check out some of the apparent best wheelchair friendly pubs in London. And I have to say, I think I made a great first choice in selecting The Old Brewery in Greenwich. The pub is perfectly located in a tranquil setting next to the Royal Naval College. I can see it being the perfect place to chill out and have a drink when it is Summer. Now being October, it was a bit chilly but I still enjoyed the view all around me out in the pub's front beer garden. I don't drink alcohol and only mainly drink soft drinks. I only ordered a diet coke and the price was a very reasonable £3.40. I did not get the chance to check out the disabled loos, but I have read that the pub is equipped with two of them. If you're ever in the area then I strongly recommend that you visit here for a drink or to get some food. I can't wait to go back!

Sited within the old Royal Naval College The Old Brewery is definitely worth a visit. They offer a great Sunday lunch (including a two-person sharer - given the portion sizes I’d make that a three-person sharer!) with the usual meats on offer plus veggie options for those who prefer it that way. Served with the obligatory veg choice - plus Yorkshire puddings with every meal you really can’t go wrong. Prices are reasonable for the product and, being a Youngs restaurant, there is a great selection of draught and bottled beers. Service was great - very attentive, friendly and efficient. You can’t really wish for anything more. Enjoy.

Fun and lively setting, big and yet not too loud - friendly service really hustled. Plenty of choices of an English variety - fish was great, burger was good, fries were oddly different with each (excellent thick cut with the burger) but the Yorkshire pudding...

The positive, the sunday rosy was excellent. The negative, the service was appalling with the exception of the person wearing a pink top. Had to ask twice for a drink that had been ordered, then given a glass of ice that had bugs in it....

Standard pub fare, great location and outdoor space

We stopped by for a late lunch/early dinner in August. The location is nice, and the outside seating area was busy and bustling. It's a huge busy bar and the interior is really nice with high ceilings and lots of interesting decorations like funky pictures...

One of the more touristy places to eat in Greenwich. Food was ok, but we had to send an undercooked burger back and it took a good 20 minutes to come back. Service was a little bit slow and when we were there, they had a quite a limited number of mains due to selling out of ingredients. They did provide a 10% discount by way of apology, which was appreciated. Not a bad place, but won’t be in a hurry to come back for food.

We visit the Maritime Museum and had a walk up the hill at Greenwich before visiting The Old Brewery for dinner. The service was very good, food enjoyable and atmosphere good. Menu was fairly extensive, we choose the fish and steaks. London meals are pricey...
