Never again. This was a very expensive evening not worth the bother . Poor standard of cleanliness. Much better pub's in Greenwich offering better prices and providing a clean environment and better service than I received. I won't return

Nathan and Callum were fantastic, my partner is a coeliac and vegetarian, Nathan went out of his way to call me prior to our booking and confirm his needs. Not only was everything really clear, Nathan made sure my partner had a meal on the house just because jacket potatoes would not be available that day. Super friendly, super helpful, thanks so much!

amazing experience. spontaneously walked in and got to see queera lynn (slay) performing over an hour. buzzing atmosphere, both for a younger and older crowd, bar staff phenomenal, everyone very friendly, nice area around not too far from cutty sark and the station, RIGHT by Greenwich park.

Way over priced £6:90 for a pint of Peroni . No wonder it was empty on my visit. Is it to rinse the unsuspecting tourists or take advantage of the LGBTQ target market ? Green king hang your heads in shame. Westend/ Soho is cheaper !!

A gorgeous and local queer community pub - they take extraordinary care of their customers and regulars. I’ve never felt so welcomed by staff. Ryan, Santosh, Nathan, Michael, lil Nathan, and Cory in particular are incredibly kind and fun to talk to. It’s hard to find pubs in London that feel like your local where everyone knows you and takes care of each other, and this place is that. Definitely recommend.

My local pub! Wonderfully caring staff and landlord!! However, yet again the prices have gone up and up over the last few weeks and again, last week ANOTHER price in crease on drinks/beer etc. like the person mentioned below, this has sadly meant that me and my partner wont be going in as much. We’ve been drinking in the pub for a few years now and a pint here is now more expensive than some pubs in Soho!!

What a wonderful gay friendly local pub, excellently managed by Nathan and staffed by very friendly and capable staff. Unfortunately, this pub is owned by Green King, who seem to believe that this establishment, which is off the beaten tourist track in Greenwich, can bear central London prices. I would seriously ask the question, did Green King monitor the prices in other establishments in the area before deciding to increase their prices. This latest set of price increases means that I and my partner will certainly reduce the number of visits per week that we make and sadly this will reflect on the perceived performance of all the staff and management, Sincerely, Mike Byrne

What a great little pub. I came here to watch the drag entertainment (my gorgeous cousin @thatgirldrag). From the moment we walked in it was a real friendly vibe m, bar staff amazing, entertainment top notch would definitely return. There once was a pub where the drag show was grand, At the Ye Olde Rose & Crown, in Greenwich so bland. They sang Les Champs-Elysees with such glee, It filled my heart with joy and set my soul free. Life is good, and I am so blessed, To have experienced the very best.

Stayed in Greenwich last week what a fantastic pub this is very friendly and welcoming, the weekend was fantastic will definitely be going back there.

Poor, for a Friday lunchtime. We were the only ones there. They were out of many different menu items, basic things like a chicken salad (they could do the salad, not the chicken…). They could not cater for gluten free (they were unable to serve the humus with either a gluten free alternative to the pitta bread, or just some carrot/cucumber). The salad that did come tasted over peppered and not so palatable. The chicken and bacon sandwich was not freshly prepared, just ready made sandwich mix, which wasn’t bad but also wasn’t good. They didn’t have any decent rose wine. The service was okay, he did his best, and tried to make up for the obvious deficiencies. But it was all over priced as well. Also the floor in the toilets was saturated in water(?), with no signage. One to avoid, I’m afraid.

Trovato per caso durante la passeggiata per raggiungere il meridiano ho deciso di entrare per bere una pinta. Locale semplice e informale, erano presenti pochi clienti. Servizio veloce e buona birra. Consigliato per chi si vuole riposare un po'.

We have been to Greenwich so many times over the years but never been to this pub and found it by accident as we were just exploring the back streets and there it was. If you want an escape from the crowds but close by, this place is perfect. Was such a friendly welcome. Cute little pub. The IPA is really good and nice rose wine too. We didn't have food but what we saw looked delicious. If it's your thing, drag shows on later in the evening too and we will 100% be back to try out a Sunday lunch and also a drag show. There is a superb sausage shop right opposite too.

What a fantastic place! Found it by accident, but when we saw the menu, we settled in! Staff are lovely and so helpful. But when the food came, it blew us away! We all had the Steak & Ale Pie with beautiful crumbly and light pastry, thick-cut chips were to die for, and the merlot beef dripping gravy was out of this world! Followed by cocktails! Wow! We had 2 of the Salty Caramelicious and a Blood Orange Spritz. If we didn't have to get the boat back, we still would have been there. Absolutely Divine!!

Popped in here whilst we were down staying in Greenwich for gigs at 02 and London stadium. Ordered the mix and share - karaage chicken, houmous and flatbread, pretzel with beer cheese sauce, nidderdale sausages and crispy squid. All lovely and tasty- the chicken is amazing along with the squid. Great value for money. Nice atmosphere. Nathan is a great manager-absolutely lovely. Friendly and helpful. Will definitely pop in again when we are next down.

I frequent this pub often. It hosts a really friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The team are incredibly friendly and your always greeted with a smile. Michael is a great member of the team. Always helpful, conversational and friendly, introducing new comers to some of the regulars. The food menu is good - something light or more hearty. I would definitely recommend this bar and their drag shows/entertainment calendar.

Came here today for a swift pre weekend drink and nibble and really enjoyed ourselves. The service was warm and friendly, our food arrived promptly and the beyond meat burger I had was hot, filling and delicious (and I’m not a vegetarian). Good pint too. Will be coming here again.

Nice little spot away from the heat and humidity which made for a relaxing stop and a nice refreshing cold beer, staff were friendly and welcoming and plenty variety but I stuck to a cold lager.

Il proprietario è stato gentilissimo. Il cibo era di ottima qualità. Mio figlio ha preso il cheese and bacon burger ed ha detto che non ha mai mangiato un burger così buono. Abbiamo provato anche il fish and Chips ed era molto buono. La pie di carne era spettacolare! Consigliatissimo.

Amazing service here at the rose and crown! Charlie was fabulous and my food was cooked by the chef Helga, I had the trio of fries, halloumi, nidderdale sausages and the fish goujons! The food could not be faulted. And such friendly service.

The pale ale there is really good with fish and chips.

Loved visiting this cute gay pub that houses a bit of cinematic history, it played a role in Beautiful Thing. The food and service were delightful, a great place to rest and recharge after taking in Greenwich.

2nd visit to this place. A weekend in london, this was our first and our last. Friday afternoon, lovely food, great service. Amazing pint of draught cider, very clean and crisp. OMG, this pub it is the best hidden gem I found in years. We live nearby and always have seen the pub lively but never went there. Yesterday (Sunday) we stopped buy just for a drink. It was a drag show time. What a performance. Unfortunately we couldn’t stay inside as we were with a kid and kids were not allowed in the pub during show hours. But hearing from outside was so fun. People we’re having an amazing time inside. And I am sure I will come back for another Sunday During show hours. I just would suggest to the pub to include non-alcoholic drinks (even gin 0% ) in their menu.

Not just a great venue but the staff are brilliant but last nights entertainment was the best Miss Terry Tours has got to of been the best act ever the singing and choice of songs was amazing and I know everyone there last night agreed. I will not be missing at the next show in Feb. Well done

Small very friendly cosy pub, fantastic food. Quiet when we were there, but we walked past after coming out of the theatre much later, looked like it was buzzing, looks like they have some great entertainment. Wish we were local, but will definetly go back
