Claudia was a fabulous waitress, good food and drink. A lovely place to spend an evening.

The place itself is beautiful, the service a bit slow, the food so so, the steak was a bit chewy, still tasty though, I’ve noticed the menu keeps changing, as soon as I find a favourite dish, the menu changes and my favourite dish is no longer there, it would be helpful to have an usher, to guide people to their tables and explain the process, do we sit? do we go to the bar? where do we pay? all a bit confusing for a newcomer. The one time we went for a cigarette and lost our table even though we were still waiting for the dessert, we didn’t bother staying, so we paid £8 per dessert and ended up leaving it. The restaurant looks upmarket, it’s looks fancy but just doesn’t follow through. It’s not so much on my high recommendation list, the last few visits have been disappointing..

This place is really lovely and the staff are so nice. BUT… this place needs more bar staff. Every time I went up, there was a queue. Dear management: I want to walk up to the bar and order a beer, not queue up behind everyone else ordering food and drinks to the table. I understand you have an order to table app, but the constant queue should show you need to more bar staff. Outside these contentions, this is a really nice place to eat & drink; so inviting and they deserve all the success if they can improve their ordering system. Maybe screens for food which will free up the bar?? Honestly everyone should try here. Thanks

I come here whenever I’m in Woolwich and I’ve seen throughout the year this pub thriving but today was really sad seeing the state of it and the team, it’s the 3rd day of sun and you can already see how this is affecting the pub. My friend who comes here every time for a daily aspall and today he started helping the staff clearing tables cause in a pub this big they had just 3 members of staff ( which one of them wasn’t serving the bar) in this sunny day. Honestly not a good look on the new management. I hope they will fix this sooner rather than later seeing how summer tends to be in Woolwich

We were told both the atmosphere and the food were delicious. We were told right. Friendly staff, delicious food, it’s just a beautiful restaurant. I’m only in town for five days and have wondered over to have both spirits and lunch three times already. A+++

Nice pub, very spacious. We were in a rush, but the waiter was helpful, swift and suggested pizza if we wanted a quick turn around. Would go again - the pizza is yum.

A special thank you to Claudia, who is the loveliest waitress in the world — super sweet, kind, and incredibly proactive, which made our experience even better. She is so well-connected that, at first, I thought she was the manager. Can’t recommend enough!

Everything was amazing. Beef Sunday roast was great, special shout out to that Yorkshire pudding. Only thing that let it down was that we waited ages for someone to come to the table for us to pay, after the bill was already given to us. We ended up going to the till. But would definitely return for the interior, polite staff and food :)

Wow! What a lovely and beautiful place to enjoy a meal. The environment here is truly stunning. I am right in front of Dial Arch, and I absolutely love this place. I have been living near Abbey Wood for the past month, and I am currently looking for a job. I have three years of experience as a kitchen assistant in Nepal, along with two years of housekeeping experience at Kuti Resort and Spa in Nepal. I would be delighted if I could secure a job at this restaurant. My university, York St John University London, has classes only on Fridays, so I am free and available to work every other day except Friday. I really need a job to sustain myself in the UK. Hoping for the best.

Had a meal on Friday night it was amazing, we were served by Minnie who was a absolute delight, full of energy and so bubbly, she was always checking on us absolutely amazing service from her and she’s a credit to your team, such a great pub we go a lot and the atomspere is amazing and the staff are too notch, pub is always clean and everyone is always having so much fun there be back in a couple of weeks

We had a great visit to Dial Arch. Food was excellent. Service was great and allowed us to eat and enjoy meal and stay with out being rushed. We regularly head out on Friday with out teenage children and felt welcomed here which is not the same for all pubs the do food on a Friday We will be back and look forward to when weather improves and we can eat outside

We got married in the nearby town hall and booked the reception here to host our guests. 3 course meal and drinks reception. Absolutely fantastic service even though it was a very busy Saturday night. Waiting staff were amazing and everyone was delighted with food. Great space for it too. 👍 10/10

Best pub in Woolwich! The Dial Arch has a great selection of beer; food always great. There is always a great atmosphere when we visit. The quizz night is always fun. Can’t wait for summer to enjoy a lazy after work pint outside.

A little oasis in Woolwich, this place is one of the only places in Woolwich that is decent to go for a drink or two with friends and family. The decor is great and the service is professional and polite. The people seem friendly. The price of the drinks appears reasonable considering it's London. If you're about in Woolwich this is the only place to go

The food was not the best. But the service from Claudia it was great. She come back and checked if everything is alright. She is always smiling and I was really satisfied with her and I hope everyone work just like her.

We had a lovely time here . The waiter who welcomed us wasn’t really happy but the girl who served us was really lovely . Her name is Claudia and she was such a delight. Not just with us but with all the customers who were there. She had a beautiful smile on her face and made sure everyone was satisfied. I can see she is working hard and making sure she does her job properly.

I’m a local, come here whenever we need to get out the house. Food is always great and fresh, staff are friendly and this place never disappoints. Get the Mac & cheese! Can be a little expensive but it’s worth it. P.s. please bring back the schnitzel!!!

A beautiful pub with a warm atmosphere that makes you want to stay. The staff is lovely and attentive, and they also offer gluten-free options. They don’t have gluten-free options for pizzas, but they do for their burgers and fish and chips. Highly recommended!

The Dial Arch is an amazing establishment. I have been there several times with friends and family, but I had the joy of celebrating an event yesterday, my baby shower, and it was a total success. The staff offered an impecable service, the food was super delicious, the drinks were elegant, and everything was displayed perfectly. The venue itself has an old, sophisticated, ambiance with lovely decor and filled with character. Thank you all for this success, we were all super happy. Special thanks to Claudia, Andre, Ollie, and Katherine for their support. Wish you the very best.

We have been going to Dial Arch for many years and have always enjoyed ourselves. The range of drinks and the quality of the food has never disappointed. Went with friends for a Sunday roast. We ordered the trio and it didn’t disappoint. It arrived quickly and a washed it down with a pint of FreeDamm. Great alcohol free lager. It goes without saying we’ll be returning at some point.

This place looks amazing. Lovely and clean. The member of staff I interacted with felt like he didn't want to be there but the staff who brought food to the table seemed fine. For £18, the fish and chips were awful. If you like (a lot of )Crunchy Batter and bland fish, then great. I don't, and I expected better. 2 of my colleagues ate the same meal and gave me the same feedback. I'd drink here again but go somewhere else for cheaper and, hopefully, better food.

Delicious food in atmospheric pub.

The Dial Arch is our local. We took friends there for their first visit. The pub was very quiet but customer service was appalling. It took about an hour for our mains plates to be cleared. About another half an hour for desert menus to be delivered and then another age for the orders to be taken. We requested the service charge to be removed from the bill.

I had a macchiato. I sat outside and placed my order using the QR code on the table. It took a while to get the drink although the pub didn't look busy (it was Saturday lunchtime). However, the staff brought the coffee to the table outside

Local restaurant living RAR. Recent visit really upset disappointed very cold temperature even though I asked warmer area seating due to elderly relatives & was duped via email I booked good faith to try new chef menu, apart from starter mains tasted awful really don’t mind paying for week night out with walking distance Dial Arch pub! We don’t drink alcohol, only went for evening meal. Shocking price for such awful food. Young waitress was lovely I tipped her cash. Really disappointed will not book again. Apart from fries, steak was tough, cold raw!!

Lovely atmosphere, with nice cosy seating area. Great for getting drinks & food with a beautiful fireplace. It also has a huge seating area outside for you to use during the summer months.

Great atmosphere and nice staff but the food is ridiculously overpriced for a pub chain.

Not the best experience, I'm afraid. Booked for brunch and then were made to feel unwelcome as we were told no-one asks to be sat in the restaurant at that time. Then the chef and the waiter were shouting at each other as they couldn't fulfil our order. And bizarrely given oat milk for a coffee without asking?

unfortunately totally let down by the dial arch new years eve. event manager should be sacked, totally in-appropriate DJ hired for the evening totally flat evening although left before 12pm and managed to get my money back out of principle not what i wanted or expected. had attended few years prior for a good night.

I celebrated my special birthday party at the Dial Arch. The food was great, I was able to play my own play list. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Perfect venue for a party.

Amazing experience. We went there for a birthday party and we loved the food and drinks! Customer service is impeccable and very knowledgeable. Claudia and Mini were very helpful in assisting us with the wine selection. Very friendly. We loved it.

I asked for starters to arrive with mains. This did not happen. We waited 55 minutes for our mains to arrive. People who sat down 20 minutes after us were served way before us. Waited forever to pay the bill and finally had to walk to the entrance to pay. Winter salad was gross. The whipped feta was a runny, salty mess. Nice atmosphere. But that cannt make up for bad service.

We went for brunch and it was great! There were not a ton of options on the brunch menu, but everything was delicious. It's a little pricier, but good for meet-ups and reunions.

The food was beautiful. The roast beef was so succulent. The banoffee mess didn't look like I expected, but outweighed all taste expectations. The only note I would add is that a DISCRETIONARY tip of 12.5% was added, and asked for by the waitress when we chose to still tip, but tip less than the 12.5%.

Quite horrible experience, wanted to order a cheese board, waitress didn’t even know that it is on their menu and at first and suggested to order something else, finally she found it and placed the order. Once received our order 3 blocks of cheese came with 4 small crackers, when asked if that’s the portion, female waitress at the bar and manager himself showed horrible attitude. Not very nice service, wouldn’t recommend and probably won’t visit again even though it is our local pub.

A lovely evening at the Dial Atch for a wedding celebration and pre Xmas get together, hiring two lovely rooms. The perfect comfortable and cosy environment. The food was spot on and enjoyed by everyone. The service was excellent. Thank you to Olly and the Dial Arch team for making it such an enjoyable and memorable evening.

We hosted a small party here and everything was excellent. The staff were so polite, kind and helpful!! They took care of everything. The space was also really cozy and warm. We also ordered a few sharer items for the group and the food was really delicious! We would highly recommend.

Absolutely loved my first British Pub experience at Dial Arch in Woolwich. We came in late after trying a couple other places without success and we came in and they still had roast 🥰 And y'all - it was delicious. We had the pork and the chicken roasts and they were 10/10. The gravy. The Yorkshire pudding! The deliciousness of the falling off the bone roasted meats. And shout out to Claudia for recommending we slather everything in the garlic mayo. It. Was. So. Good. And we finished up with the sticky toffee pudding. Highly recommend you come here, kick back with delicious food, throw down some pints and relax. It'll be worth your time and money!

My partner and I had a lovely time at the Dial Arch last night celebrating our anniversary! All staff were very attentive and friendly, but we’d like to mention Claudia specifically for exceptional service.

We had a Christmas meal today for 12. The food was lovely and the service from Claudia was excellent. She made sure we all had the right orders and that everything was up to standard. Kyle was also great, making sure everything ran smoothly. Wonderful 😀

One of the most expensive pubs in the UK. Based in Woolwich, but thinks it's in Knightsbridge and you wouldn't half mind if the service was good. Many moons ago when the pub first opened, it was absolutely my favourite pub. The atmosphere was amazing, the service was super friendly and fast. Now, the bar staff seem to go out of their way to be as rude as possible, one of the guys who looks like Uncle Albert (OFAH) storms around the place, kicking chairs that get in the way of him taking drinks to tables (giving evil looks to customers who don't jump out of the way of him), and looking like he hates everyone. You've got over privileged 'kids' who work at the bar who thinks their job is beneath them and just looks into space before servicing the next person (you've got to be asked to be served as they won't serve you otherwise) lol. I assume the attitude from staff comes from the top as the bar manager seems to love himself too much to actually work.... £30 for two glasses of wine and bad attitude leaves a very bad taste in the mouth, which is a shame because the pub itself is beautiful, but as it stands, until the attitude of management and staff changes, this isn't a pub worth going to anymore.

After we weren't satisfied last time, we had a really good time there today. Attentive staff, excellent food including drinks. I have to give André a big compliment for listening to my criticism and making me feel good today. The wreath making event didn't bother them in any way, it was nice to see how they worked on it. We will definitely be back. Merry Christmas!

Only gave 4 stars for atmosphere as it was early Monday evening. Think it would be much better later in the week and evening. Restraunt was quiet when we were in.

We enjoyed our first meal in London at the Dial Arch. The fish and chips hit the spot and was big enough for my son and I to share it. He also wanted the apple and blackberry crumble for dinner and he gave it two enthusiastic thumbs up. Claudia helped us at the table and she was lovely! She made sure to bring out his crumble first so he had something to stave off being hangry; and she brought the rest of our meal promptly after. Will definitely make another stop here while we are in town!
