My friend and I could not find anywhere in the town centre for lunch and came across The Glass House by accident so decided to pop in. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfortable seating and privacy as we sat left of the door. Staff are polite and attentative. Food was freshly made, very reasonably priced and tasted fantastic!! A bottle of fizzy water cost £1.. Yes I know I was shocked too!! 2 x luxury panini, 3 huge slices of coffee & walnut cake, 1 slab of chocolate cake, pot of tea, hot chocolate and a 500ml bottle of fizzy water came to £18 Absolutely excellent place to eat and will be returning!! P.S we didn't eat all the cake, took some home for the boys

First visit. Lovely, helpful and friendly staff. Superb food and coffee. Not cheap but worth the money. Will definitely be back!

We came upon the place by accident. We were looking for a coffee whilst out for a seafront walk. We sat outside on a bright but chilly day. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted with a smile and a menu and left to choose. Ordered 2 fruit scones( warm) and a coffee and a hot chocolate. They arrived quickly and well presented with butter and jam. The scones were tasty and very fresh, a bit crumbly. Hot chocolate was tasty. My husband said coffee was nice. All of this for £10. The outside seating area has clear screens to shelter us from the wind , was clean and well presented with hanging baskets. Will be going back.

This is a great place for a large, well cooked breakfast, By 9.30am most of the tables were full and I can see why. Friendly staff, good tea, excellent food and a lovely local relaxed atmosphere. I had the Bubble and Squeak with extra mushrooms and bacon, and it was lovely; good portion, well cooked.

If your passing or staying at the services at South Mimms don't bother eating there go to the Black Horse. People were friendly and staff very welcoming. Food was lovely and well worth the money. We will definitely be back.

Chose Oh Crumbs purely at random. Good choice - very tasty Cromer Crab sandwiches on brown. They have a serving hatch off the pavement a few yards from the River Burke bridge approach. Placed order through window, waited a few minutes then order arrived. Went and ate on a bench by the bird feeding area next to the bridge. Would recommend.

Such a find , delicious food with freshly cooked vegetables , the service is 100% too

AMAZING we went for afternoon tea and it was amazing. We got to choose our sandwich and cake option. Food and drinks were delicious. Staff were amazing throughout booking and the afternoon tea. Highly recommended

Overnight stay, evening meal and time in the bar. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here, we both had the best nights sleep ever, it was so peaceful and the bed so comfortable, room was excellent. The food was amazing and Mark and his team all looked after us so well, we will definitely book again when we’re next in the area.

After visiting friends in Wymondham, they suggested Janeys for lunch. My brother, sister and I had 2 Lincolnshire sausage casseroles and a cottage pie. The quantity is so generous but we all managed to finish it. Excellent food, can’t speak too highly of it. When we are next in Norfolk will hopefully visit again.

What a lovely tea room this is! Highly recommend, we all had cream teas which were absolutely beautiful, staff were so lovely too.
