Only pop in for a pint of Fosters waiting for a Bus met a couple of fellow young Electricians working there at the back garden area shared a bit of knowledge with them that might be handy with a Big Job in Corringham next Year!Bar were attentive and welcoming used to go in this Pub 45years ago when I owned Viscount Radio a successful Ctv radio repairs workshop with my sister being the receptionist and, many other staff located at 20 Chapel Street in an old Dutch barn now in Wat Tyler's Park.I used to park my 18ft racing Phantom 200hp Johnson powerboat aptly named Supertramp with Pontiac 400 Catalina Safari Station Wagon tow vehicle there in the Warehouse. I upgraded to a World Class 3 winning 21ft Phantom aptly namely Phantasize before giving up and travelling to Oz,Thailand and the World to live my life!

Just popped in for a drink and ordered a sandwich which was really good, fresh and well presented. Went back a week later and had another nice lunch. The staff are very friendly and we felt very welcome. Great pub will definitely call again

Excellent variety of food , delicious cakes and good coffee. Well decorated cafe, clean and efficient service. After having visited a couple of times during a stay with my family who reside in Billericay. - I feel I have to agree with the TripAdvisor comment made way back in March of this year - some members of staff are abrupt - not to us personally but to one or two of the other customers. One subject was confusion over being able to make a booking..... I feel perhaps the ‘team’ need to jell more and work with the same set of rules. Otherwise I loved it!

This is now called Georges but is still a chip shop. The staff are cheerful and happy to help and meet your requirements. I went on Saturday to buy fish, chicken, savaloys and chips for a number of us and asked for the sothern fried chicken amongst other things and had quite a long wait as it was freshly cooked for me. When I got home with the food it was all piping hot and we had a nice meal. The portions are quite large and you will know that you have had a feast when you are finished. Well done can't wait to visit again when we wre in Billericay.

Visited with my children and parents. Food was good, served quickly, hot & delicious. Service was excellent, the waitresses are very friendly and efficient. Unfortunately the man cooking who I can only assume is the owner was absolutely disgusting to his staff. The manner in which he talks to the girls is shameful, it was uncomfortable to sit and eat my food having to listen to him shout & belittle the them. I will not be returning.

First time we went the toasties were brilliant, since then we have tried to go in on 3 different Sundays with family in which they have not had gluten free bread. Unfortunately we won’t be returning anymore, allergies should be catered for throughout everyday of the week 😞

Staff were nice but didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Fingers and hands all over the coffee glass rim. Three things I asked for they didn’t have. Had to ask for a glass for the bottle of lemonade (which was third choice). Sat outside because we had a dog and to enjoy the sun - in a cloud of staff Vaping in the doorway next to us and smokers the other side. Never returning, plenty of other places in high st that know how to run things properly.
