Staff were nice but didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Fingers and hands all over the coffee glass rim. Three things I asked for they didn’t have. Had to ask for a glass for the bottle of lemonade (which was third choice). Sat outside because we had a dog and to enjoy the sun - in a cloud of staff Vaping in the doorway next to us and smokers the other side. Never returning, plenty of other places in high st that know how to run things properly.

At 17 I went for a trial shift in which I worked 6/7 unpaid hours on a busy Saturday (which i was unaware was unpaid). After I was then not contacted to allow me to know I didn’t get the job. I heard similar things happened to other people my age , using young people for free shifts on busy Saturday’s.

Popped in for a cheeky Chai Latte with my daughter, just before we went into Tier 3. Great service, friendly staff, superb drinks! Will be back for take-away till we can visit properly again.

My wife and I popped in here this morning for a coffee. We were warmly greeted by Erin and Molly who took our order for a americano and capuchino! Lovely smiles from the girls and a splendid environment too. Nicely refurbed and a good menu and plenty of ice-cream to tempt you too! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed...

Brilliant place - serves the best coffee using really nice beans. Has a great selection of food and the ice cream / milkshakes are epic. Also lovely people work there from the owner through to the weekend staff.

Nice clean place, but that is all I can say was good. The worst pie & mash I've ever had, the meal was only luke warm, and the pies were under cooked, there was a group on another table that complained about their meal being cold, and then walked out leaving the food on the table. This was my first time in this restaraunt and will be my last.

We stayed at the adjoining Premier Inn so had breakfast here. We stay typically a couple of times a year when visiting family and the breakfasts here used be ok until a couple of years ago but it’s definitely as if the management just doesn’t care about their customers anymore. I kinda feel like I’m being treated with contempt. We were greeted by a sign saying that the so called unlimited breakfast would be limited to two of any one item per person due to supply shortages. We saw exactly this when we stayed in June this year. Good grief for us that’s not a problem at all, as typically we’re eating later in the day, but for crying out loud there’s several supermarkets within a couple of miles radius put a little bit more effort into it go out and buy some eggs, bacon, sausages etc stop being so lazy 🤷‍♂️ One time we visited and were told the only eggs on offer would be scrambled eggs, honestly this is beyond ridiculous! Sort of like the Little Chef experience of sorry we haven’t had any omelettes delivered yet today! Anyway our breakfast turned up on cold plates and the items were well cooked and tasty enough but all but tepid or cold. I’m not a toddler for crying out loud I can eat hot foods! I really don’t know how an eatery like this could possibly be so incapable of making a half decent breakfast, I could do a far better job myself and I don’t have a Scooby about catering. Sadly though there is no alternative locally so I expect we’ll be doing the exact same thing in a few months time.
