I stumbled across The Breakfast Room when in Billericay with time to kill and was very hungry. I cannot fault it in all honesty. The service was not only very friendly but it was prompt too. As for the food I opted for breakfast No 4 (choice of 6) and it was excellent. 2 each of sausages, bacon and egg plus beans, mushrooms (loads of them) and a hash brown with a slice of toast. i had an additional latte to accompany it and both the food and the drink were delicious. The bill came in in at £11.70 which I considered good value for money. I can certainly recommend and will happy pay a visit when I am next in the area.

This cafe does what it says on the tin, well cooked breakfast and a friendly service. Good value for what I consumed. A better quality sausage would have raised the score, but that would increase the costs I imagine. I would visit again

Very average greasy spoon. Not worth giving a review really. Builders cafe. Would not go back, would rather eat at home. There are much better cafe in Billericay.

Excellent service and a lovely breakfast really well cooked and delicious! Waitress was very helpful as we swapped items on the breakfast to our suit what we preferred in out breakfast today. I particularly liked the breakfast served on a warm plate - always a game changer for me!

The ladies at the breakfast room were outstanding. Their names were Soad and Yoanna. They really made my family feel at home. They were very warm, polite and attentive. You are very lucky to have them. I will certainly go back to the hotel thanks to them.

Very friendly staff and owner, Very clean and great value for money. Nice to see that there's going to be a vegan option which I look forward to trying. A favourite for me and my pals with outside seating nice on a sunny day.

First choice for breakfast in Billericay, "Excellent quality food" very reasonably priced in a covid secure environment. Polite staff. Very highly recommend

Premises are very clean and service is "covid" aware. The staff were efficient and polite. Did not wait long for our order. Food quality good and value for money. Would return here. I recommend this cafe.

Visited on Tuesday the 18th June. Lunch with a friend. Ordered the prawn sandwich and fried eggs and bacon sandwich They were both delicious, with a well presented side salad. Service was excellent and the food was reasonably priced. Located in The Walk, Billericay High Street. It was a warm day, but raining, so was nice to be able to sit outside, under cover and enjoy lunch. Being just off the high street and away from the traffic, makes it a more relaxing experience when sitting outside. Would definitely recommend The Breakfast Room.

You can get a tasty lunch, here, very reasonably priced. I can recommend the three-egg cheese omelette, the coronation chicken sandwich and the cream cheese and smoked salmon bagel. Service is quick and friendly.

My wife and I thought that we'd try this café just off the Billericay High Street. We chose the poached eggs on toast. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the service was friendly too! If you haven't tried this place before it's worth a visit!

We love this place and it is a regular haunt for my family and I to have breakfast. The food is fantastic and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Everything is cooked to order but despite this you never wait long for your food and it is always delicious. When you add in the great prices I would definitely recommend it.

We popped in here for breakfast as we had heard good reports on the place. Very pleasant staff. The food was excellent and served nice and hot too! They apparently do a nice lunch too, which we'll try at some stage.

We have had Sunday breakfast a few times here. I wont say its the best quality but in terms of value for money its enjoyable & well presented. The staff are always helpful & accommodating. You can sit outside when the weather is good, which is an added bonus. We also had Lunchtime meals & was a nice change to have scampi on the menu, a blast from the past. Again was good value for money.

We called into this cafe in a pedestrian precinct of shops off the High Street for lunch one Saturday in early Feb 2018 and each chose their exceptional value all day breakfasts, comprising a delicious sausage, 2 rashers of bacon, 2 eggs nicely cooked with runny yokes, a good helping of hot baked beans, toast with butter and marmalade PLUS a regular drink of tea, coffee etc (I had a cappacino worth over £2 normal price) .... all for £5.85. Fast service, pleasant staff, comfy table and chairs, background music, not too noisy or hot premises. An absolute gem of a cafe.

This little place, off the high street, serves a freshly well cooked breakfast at a very reasonable price. Serving staff are pleasant. They also do good lunches again very reasonably priced; that may not be obvious from the name of the place.

Yep , £6.80 for a mug of tea , two slices of toast and a well presented plate of 2 sausages , 2 bacon rashers , mushrooms , 2 fried eggs , baked beans and a hash brown. Excellent value and very tasty.

we decided to explore Henfield,Billericay, and Wickford and stopped in Billericay for lunch and picked the Breakfast room to have a breakfast,and hot chocolate.it was a little chilly for sitting outside we enjoyed our breakfast.

Had a nice large breakfast here. Place is clean and tidy the air is not filled with cooking smells, very pleasant. Staff were polite and service was quick and courteous. Would recommend.

Estábamos en un horario apretado y tenía que ser en y fuera en una hora, y lo pasamos genial! Nuestra camarera, Jessica, era muy agradable y no tuvimos ninguna orden equivocada (esto debería ser un hecho, pero siempre es agradable cuando sucede). Los huevos fueron tan increíbles! Nunca he tenido huevos que perfecto! Y mezclado con el hash que es incluso mejor. Las magdalenas eran caseros y el ambiente era agradable. En general, fue una gran experiencia y lo recomiendo si buscas un pequeño restaurante con un acogedor ambiente.

I always come here when I need a good fry up and it never disappoints. Service and food tops and I always leave with my breakfast scratch itched.

Mi marido y yo llamamos aquí desayuno de esta mañana. La camarera nos sentamos en la única mesa disponible, que era para 4 personas, nos pareció genial ya que mi marido tiene una pierna y me paseo fiable con un palo (debido a condiciones espinal). Estábamos a punto de pedir el desayuno cuando la camarera nos preguntó que si queríamos cambiar a una mesa para dos, ya que había un grupo de tres y nada al asiento. Nos trasladamos a la vuelta de la esquina, la mesa estaba bajo una repisa y delgado no estamos, así que no eran ni siquiera capaces de sentarse. Así que rápidamente a la izquierda. Así que si eres de movilidad reducida o necesita espacio para sentarse a comer la comida que no recomendaría este café, ellos pueden pedir que entres mientras estás comiendo!

Was looking for somewhere local for brunch and was recommended here and it didn't disappoint. It's only a little place but quite modern in décor. The menu had quite a selection of options and service was quick from the waitress taking our order to the food being served up and the portions were fairly large too in my opinion. I opted for scrambled egg and smoked salmon on toast and it arrived mixed up together which is exactly how I like it without them being prompted (as opposed to slices of smoked salmon with the egg scrambled on top) and had a choice of which bread I wanted too, always a bonus. I'd definitely go back, good value for money too.

Don't go here! Slipped discs is so much nicer with a higher standard of food overall. The service I've experienced is either a squawky older lady or a couple of useless teenagers who have as much interest in the food and service as I do in returning there.

Why would you go anywhere else in Billericay for breakfast or brunch?? Lots of trendier places in the High St but this place always ticks the boxes when it come to our fave bacon sandwich. Lots of non-salty, non-fatty back bacon on super-soft white bread with a generous helping of brown sauce IT'S THE BEST!! What better place to start the day before shopping.....we've had lovely free-range eggs on toast too...and the menu is quite extensive it's just that we can't resist a sarnie - give it a try.

... and we did! Always a bit scared it won't be as good second time around but fancied breakfast and this was the nicest breakfast we'd had recently. Now open on Sunday till 2pm off we went. Everyone parks in Waitrose and its a bit of a bunfight to get a space. The cafe was a bit busier today but no less welcoming. £12 for the two of us including tea and coffee and again no problems swapping mushrooms for tomatoes. Clean, friendly and everything cooked fresh - very nice

Friendly quick service and a lovely fry up. Give this place a try, tucked away down the walk, near the Olive Branch, can't believe there are more reviews for this place. he food is delicious, and they change things easily if you request it.

Hubby and I were shopping and fancied lunch. We'd cut through The Walk from the car park and spotted this cafe so we went back. Tiny place but very clean. Welcomed and given a menu, bit slow to come get our order as they were chatting but we weren't in a hurry. We could have waved or something and I'm sure someone would have come over. It was lunchtime so veered toward omelette or jacket potato but hubby was seduced by cooked breakfast! He had no. 5 with tomatoes instead of mushrooms. No probs swapping and he was offered tinned or fresh. I had the vegetarian option as it had no meat fake or otherwise. My veggie friends say they quite like a veggie sausage but the veg option here has no substitute at all. Was freshly cooked, coffee was nice. They did get my egg wrong, offered scrambled, poached or fried. I said scrambled and got fried. The waitress noticed before she brought it over but i said I wasn't worried. All hot and tasty and included white or granary toast or bread and butter. Lots of people came in after us but although small it wasn't cramped in any way. We liked it and would go again.

Started the Saturday morning,at 08:10, here with a friend for breakfast. Our first visit for both of us.A selection of about 6 set breakfasts. We each had Number 5 - 2 Eggs, 2 Bacon, Sausage, Beans, Toast and a choice of drink = £5.30.Freshly cooked to order. Crispy toast. They were happy to swap an item (e.g. a hash brown for a sausage). Gave the appearance of being very clean throughout.Not a large place, but includes some outside seating for a warmer day.Good quality. Will definitely return.
