The best restaurants serving British food in East of England

The ‘Coach’ was by local during my formative years nearly 50 years ago and I still pop in now and again. Good beer and food, and always friendly service.

Total Garbage if you know what a quality meal should look and taste like , this is NOT the place to be , extremely small portions , over priced, the lady was rude , the mam was lovely and apologised on behalf of her ... and guess what they cooked it with basic cheap chaep ingredients, no love amd then wait for it... Nuked it in the Microwave before serving me radiation Toxix Posion amd charged me a ridcolus amount for my dis-privilege AVOID AND COOK AT HOME ITS THAT BAD

Amazing cocktail bar. Perfect ambience: wood panelling, crystal lighting, plush velvet seating to slump into. The cocktails were delicious; my Parca with agave vinegar (better than it sounds) served in an earthenware pot was a real highlight. We had crispy chicken bao buns and padron peppers to keep the hunger pangs at bay. Service was friendly, relaxed and attentive. We will definitely return.

Excellent food and friendly staff.

We came here most days when visiting from Australia - we really enjoyed the coffee & atmosphere inside is lovely. However, we stopped visiting after we were declined ordering Takeaway coffee due to it being busy. We were just as much a paying customer as a dine & if we had said we were dine in we would have been allowed a coffee.

Stopped for fish and chips with my Husband on Friday evening past. We needed good food quick, having helped our daughter, partner and family move house that day…we were very hungry and tired. We had the best fish and chips we have had in a very long time. Extremely fresh fish cooked to perfection and very yummy chips. Luckily for us this is now our families local chippy….🎉🐟🍟👍

Have no idea why anyone has said about a bad smell. This is a unique quirky cocktail bar, served by excellent cocktail staff in an unconventional setting that has no smell whatsoever. Enjoy and embrace a truly different experience that will leave you excited to return!

Whatever you do don't have a £3.95 pasty warmed up as they charge 20% which equals 79p robbing so and so's

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Great place, awesome people working there and marvelous food. Only place where me and my husband eat doner meat and chips, and I completely love their cheesy chips because it is actually cheesy not like other places put a drizzle of cheese. Service us awesome as my husband just calls and they recognise him even if we haven't ordered for 6 months and they remember our order. 😊 We drive from our home for 25-30min to get their food ☺️

Sunday roast was brilliant which is not the norm around here. 5 stars. Easy Decor is quite modern and maybe not to my taste but not a problem, food is good.

Great Caribbean food. Simple and tasty. Well worth a visit. Curry Goat was lovely and Jerk Chicken was great
