Traditional old English pub with some of the best food in the south east. This is our go to “local” from Great Notley, great selection of ales and ciders, plus your normal largers and Guinness. The house wine is always spot on. My reason for writing this review is the food, it’s just great. With no chain franchise to pay, the ingredients are always top quality, the menu is adventurous but supported by staple fare like the sumptuous hot pot, pictured below. The pub is dog friendly and the staff welcoming.

Incredible! Came for mothers day with the pup and had a lovely time. The food was excellent, the staff make you feel as though you are the only ones there and couldn’t be any more accommodating! A must visit if you happen to be in the area for sure.

Beautifully decorated according to theme with the most delicious food and drinks. Staff are very attentive and welcoming. Our server, Matthew, was spectacular. Looking forward to our next visit already!

Desde entrar de una noche fría nos recibió un miembro del personal muy amable. El restaurante era cálido y acogedor. La comida era excelente, cocinado bien y la presentación fue puntual. El personal era atento y amable. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestra comida y sin duda volveremos. Si pudiera tener solo una pequeña crítica y eso sería tener un poco más de tiempo entre platos, simplemente encontré los cursos apurados y con la comida así de buena querrás saborear cada bocado y esperar con ansias el próximo plato. Highly recommend. Traveled on my own. I happened upon here as i was visiting PAUS. down the road and The Red House was recommended on their website. A wonderful pub and room beautiful - everything to a very high standard and super clean. Very easy and relaxed. Will stay again and recommend to friends

My wife and I went to The Old Feathers for Valentines night. We had pre ordered and what a lovely evening it was, service was brilliant, the food was absolutely wonderful and the ambiance of the place is excellent. The staff are very friendly & efficient. Well done Old Feathers, Highly recommended. We will be back

This restaurant is fabulous, never mind best in Sheringham in our mind best in North Norfolk . The food is delicious, great service and ambience. We visit whenever we can and recommend it to all our friends who love it as well.

Always decent food from them ,never get a problem, I do like their s/sour chicken on chips and the bbq one ,they do others but not into ones with chilli but love those two ,staff always polite and chatty

What an excellent cafe. Extremely welcoming, helpful staff. The food was good and prices were reasonable and i had to try the Turkish coffee to remind me of my holidays there. When I drank it I could definitely have been in turkey
