Just been to the blue stoops for dinner food was fantastic service was brilliant very nice attentive people

I’ve been coming to this pub on and off for a long time, and the standards never slip. The staff are smart, friendly and above all on the ball and excellent at good service. The food is always fresh and has that good pub grub quality, always tasty and cooked how you ask for it, and you’re never waiting long for your meals. It is nice and quiet and never rowdy, or noisy. The price is reasonable and it always has been great value, drinks included. If only other pubs could run as well as this one, I’d eat out more often! Five stars 👍👍👍👍👍

Really good place good staff good prices

We held our mums wake after her funeral yesterday at Lockeeper. The food and the staff were brilliant. Claire & Natalie went above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Thanks for everything to you all. Regards Lesley & James

Bought some tomato sausages went to cook them and they all split open turned to mush and to bin them as couldn’t tell if cooked or not waste of £4

Had the best Sunday dinner I've had in a long time. Harley and Jack couldn't have been more helpful & the food was all fresh and a generous portion. Will definitely be back now it's been taken over by new people.

Very good, a little pricey compared to other hotels within Chesterfield, excellent location, decent staff, nice, for a one off occasion.

Our jacket potatoes and baked beans were cold. We should have taken them back. When I mentioned it there was no apology, she said 3 times, "you should have brought them back" the tone of voice insinuating that we were in the wrong.

Bought 6 beef burgers of which the 2 i have had as chunks of bone in. The 1 piece of sirloin steak I had cost £8 and cooked medium rare left to rest for 10 minutes was like eating leather . Pork Pie that was recommended by many people was very disappointing when I cut into it the jelly just all ran out ,very disappointing
